I do not recommend this at all!
I was told to go on this several years back when I had really bad acne breakouts. I used it for about 2 months and my acne cleared! Then 2 month later, it came back and never went away: My face got too used to the product and it dried and itched my face.
Horrible, horrible product that relies on celebrity endorsments. There are other products out there, that won't make your face get used to the product, but I guess everyone is different. Didn't work for me. :(

I didn't like this at all - and actually my skin broke out even more after using it. I was very disappointed! Of course I was paying an arm and a leg for that silly "clear skin club" (or whatever it's called). Totally NOT worth the money.

At first, I loved ProActiv. I started using it years ago for reoccuring breakouts mainly on my chin area. At first, it worked wonderfully- I cleared up pretty quickly and stayed clear- clear enough that I eventually discontinued use.
After about a year and a half or two years, I was having major flare ups again so I reordered. While it didn't exacerbate my problems, the ProActiv certainly didn't clear my skin. I would still have a few blemishes at a time in varying spots, never having a completely clear face. I kept using, hoping that the problem was simply all of the junk in my pores coming to the surface, but eventually I realized that it simply wasn't working. In hindsight, there was a different texture to the face wash the second time around. That, along with my drastically different results, makes me wonder if they didn't reformulate the product to my disadvantage.
Regardless, I finally quit ProActiv and my skin is now much clearer and overall healthier looking from using Retin-A along with other over the counter products. Oh, well- a long lasting, expensive mistake.

I LOVE proactive! Been using the product for at least 3-4 years and I recommend it to all my friends. 99% of my friends love it too. My nephew has been using it too, he's 26 now, never had a pimple. He started young and has great skin now. All my friends ask why I don't have any sunspots on my face (i'm 46), I thank Proactive for my sunspots disappearing. I had terrible adult acne, have not had ONE pimple since I started Proactive. My suggestion: don't give up when using it, it might be drying at first, but that goes away. also i don't use the toner, only the cleasner and lotion. the toner tends to be drying.

I had been using this for 2 years and yes, it seemed to work on my acne at first.I didn't know I had to apply it except for my eye area! I had rashes and got me an allergic reaction... but other than that, it was okay but then last year in December... I started to notice that i have more pimples and blemishes all over my face. I seriously thought about going to see a dermatologist as It was my frist time had so much troubles on my face!!! and I read some reviewers said it wasn't a long term treatment, I stopped using it.... boom!!! my skin is alot better now, Be careful with this product folks! =)

I started using this about 3 years ago, and it actually really worked well for me- my skin was clear, I wasn't over dried or overly sensitized by it. I did develop a sunspot on my nose, but I wasn't wearing sunscreen with it.
I stopped using this because in addition to taking care of acne, I wanted to do something anti-aging as well. I learned that BP is aging- it oxidizes your skin. If I had to choose between acne and antiaging, I'd pick acne, but since I'm getting good results with other treatments that are also antiaging, I won't be repurchasing this.
As far as this routine taking too long...it takes all of 3, maybe 5 minutes. Not really sure what would take less time than that, other than just washing, and if you have acne, just washing likely isn't gonna do it.

This is USELESS oh my i can't believe i bought this twice
It dried out my oily-ish skin it hurts your eyes & it made my skin sting & exteremely dry.
It did nothing for my spots what so ever. I'd do anything for decent skin but this takes wayyy too long to do before bed & in the morning before college ugh i hate this product so much
overall this is a useless painful and time consuming waste of money with way too many chemicals in it

I've got to tell you darlings, this product is not all its cracked up to be. I used it for probably four-six months and my skin remained the same, basically. Other than very few times, my skin did not seem to change for the better.
Please, do NOT waste your money on this product. Go to your local drugstore or department store and buy a product from Neutrogena or Clinique - you'll save loads and see better results.

3's all around for this product. I was so excited about it when I first started using it because it cleared up my skin OVERNIGHT. After 6 months it lost its effectiveness so I cancelled my subscription. I would buy it again only if I break out bad because it's effective in clearing your skin up ONLY if you don't use it every day and your skin isn't used to it.
