My fault for not getting the waterproof formula, but this stuff did make my lashes look great. But, it also flaked a lot and bothered my eyes. I think I'm going to try the waterproof formula next.

This is such a great mascara! It really does make your lashes look fuller and longer, without smudges or clumps. I have this in Very Black and I think it looks great. Also, I prefer the waterproof version.

This used to be my holy grail mascara. It still kind of is, I like using it for everyday, but I don't generally wear mascara during the day so I end up not wearing it that much. I like a more dramatic mascara for night time as my lashes are nonexistent. I still like this mascara though, and I always have one around. Get the waterproof version, it's much better.

I tried this in black and I liked it. It didn't smear and it was very natural looking.

this was an o.k. mascara. i really like Lash Discovery much much better.
--------->UPDATE : i tried this again in 5/2005 and i just love it!!!!!!! lash discovery just didn't give me enough ooomph, but Full and Soft is a great thickening mascara without any clumps (up to 3 coats with no clumps) also...no racoon eye smudging which is a big plus in my book. it lasts all day without flaking...and most importantly, it looks *so* natural! very soft to the touch, which my DH loves. my HG mascara. (much better than Max Factor or covergirl or l'oreal!)

I really like this mascara. Mabelline mascaras are so great. The only bad thing was that I had a hard time getting it off my lashes. Perhaps it was the eye remover??

This is a great mascara. I also wear contact lenses and experienced no irritation. This mascara made my medium length, medium thick lashes look great and I experienced no clumps. Huge rave!

Works great on my lashes and usually doesn't clump much. I have sensitive eyes and wear contact lenses. This doesn't irritate my eyes.

This is good stuff for the price. It doesn't clump too much, and I can control how much goes on my poor, sparse lashes. Nice balance of length and volume.

All I can say is--believe the hype. This is overall without a doubt the best mascara I've ever used. No clumping, no smudging. Leaves my average lashes long and separated. FINALLY!

This stuff flaked like there was no tomorrow. One of the worst mascaras I have ever used. Major rant!

Full and Soft is a good name for this. It goes on smoothly and easily, looks great and comes off with no trouble at all. A standby mascara for me.

I really like this mascara, once & a while I'll stray & try a newer, sometimes way too expensive, kind but always find myself coming back to this one. I loose less lashes w/ this kind because it's so easy to take off w/ soap & water & doesn't pull out any lashes. Definetly my fave low end mascara.

A very mediocre mascara. It makes lashes fuller, and just a bit longer, but also somewhat stiff. The color black isn't dark or shiny enough. The brush is too plush to effectively define lashes, which I expected at least a bit of.

After years of trying other mascaras, I keep coming back to this! I've tried high end mascaras (Christian Dior, Lancome, Clinique, Bourjois, Chanel etc) and a slew of foreign ones (I'm in Japan so I have access to Fiberwig and Fasio) and other drugstore brands (Neutrogena, even other Maybelline mascaras!)-- none of them come close to Full and Soft! I have the waterproof kind in black and use it every day. I can put on as much or as little as I want and it doesn't clump at all or look spidery/fake. It makes my lashes look full and lush even without using my Shu Uemura curler. It gives my short, straight Asian lashes a nice, voluminous curl. Doesn't smear at all and I use it on both top and bottom lashes. Doesn't come off until you want it to. It has lasted through tears and rain and still looks like it was freshly applied all day! The best part is that when I bought it, I got two Maybelline items free so I just got more of this mascara! Easy on the wallet, unbeatable performance. :)

This is a great standby mascara for me when I don't have access to my trusty Le Grand Curl. It's exactly what it says: full and soft. It does not clump at all, and at the end of the day I don't suffer from that just got punched in the eye look (always a plus). Gives my eyes a nice, seductive look.
