I think I like this frost. It is a yellowish-gold shimmer packed eyeshadow. It really luminates your eyes. Better make sure if it goes with your skin tone because I could see this looking horrid on some tones.

A very pretty color that is great for a base or highlighter. Not much pigment but evens out the area and gives a nice sheen w/o drawing alot of attention. I use this item on a regular basis.

Ricepaper is a super, FROST shadow to give my yellow tone skin a dramatic and simple canvas work. The colour is close to my own with much makeup impact. There is a slight pearl in the colour. I think I'm finding a good subtle colouring here after trying my hand in more pure yellows and frostier frosts. Buy this - you'll have lots of fun with it.

I am actually liking this more than my shroom at the moment. It is the perfect slightly gold sheen eye shadow to use as a wash with all my eye shadows. I also love the consistency of this e/s, it is part of the MAC frost family and it goes on so smooth compared to some other MAC eye shadows that don't, such as the Lustre group. Ricepaper is gorgeous, just what everyone needs, another gorgeous neutral eye shadow.

This is a great eyeshadow! I could be biased because I think mac has some AWESOME shadow, but it's good to blend any shadow. It's got a sexy gold shimmer but it's in good taste, and you can blend it with any color, but it looks awesome with mac shadow in Juxt, and mac shadow in Crimsonette!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this as a base. It's very natural looking but with a slight gold sheen. It's very sexy for night and it works well for day. I love pairing this with all my e/s.

RIce paper is a keeper--a sheen with a mix of yellow gold--almost like my c-thru lipglass, very pretty when I blend over black tied! Very posh.

I either use this or Shroom as a base. This is more golden with a shimmer. Love this one!

Ricepaper is a frosted, golden parchment... It's a more muted version of Nylon. While it is a beautiful, shimmering neutral it is not a must have for me. I do like to use it on days when Nylon may be a bit too much. [NC30, Olive]

This color is beautiful! It's almost like a YLBB shade, but it's a beautiful nude-pearly-gold shade on! It looks gorgeous paired with almost everything; very versatile color! I will definitely continue to buy this color and I'm very glad MAC recommended this one to me!

Another very nice light nudish shade from MAC. It looks very blah and unappealing in the pan, like a no-frills pale creamy yellow. But when applied it is an ethereal pale pearly gold that lights up the eyes beautifully. I was hoping for more peach since I keep reading the "peachy gold" description, but this is gorgeous nonetheless. FYI, if you are looking for something less yellow-gold and more peachy, check out Grain, one of my favorites.

Ricepaper gave me the effect which I was expecting from Retrospeck. Weird how both shaodows appeared in comparison just by looking at them from the pot. Ricepaper didn't appear very appealing, but once u have this on, its just oh-so-glam! I love this heapz

This looks great as a base used with cranberry in the crease! I love this color, it looks subtle, and I use it as a wash. Great texture too, and not too glittery.

this is an amazing eye shadow, i use it for very subtle hightlighting and/or i use it as an all over base under my eye area and the whole lid up to the browbone, it really really brightens up the eye area and makes it look less tired, love it, a definite staple

Very nice and flattering shade for my asian skin. I can use it both as a highlighting or as a wash. It really 'opens up' my eyes. To think I was a bit hesistant about buying it coz it looked so.. so unimpressive sitting on the racks with other more colourful eyeshadows. Thank you MAC MA who recommended this to me!

HERE WE GO. I LIKE THE TEXTURE AND THE COLOR. I DON'T LIKE THE FACT THAT I HAD TO LAYER ON TO GET THE COLOR TO SHOW UP. I HAVE READ REVIEWS AND EVERYONE SEEMS TO LIKE IT AS A BASE. I DON'T. I LIKE TO SEE COLOR WHEN I COUGHED UP 13 DOLLARS ON A PRODUCT.
ANOTHER EYE SHADOW THAT I HAVE TO USE MY FINGER SO THE COLOR COULD SHOW UP. THIS ONE IS NOW A KEEPER.

Very nice highlighting shade for me (MAC 20)...not as versatile as Shroom because RP is just a tad too yellow on me.

Ricepaper is a light yellow color with a little shimmer. I love to use this as a highlighter with most of my MAC colors. It goes on very pretty and is easy to blend. I love to pair with all my MAC brown and green eye shadows. I'll definetly repurchase this one!

My favorite pale yellow-gold shimmer shade to wear all over the lid with earth tones. So versatile.

I have to layer it on for the color to show but I love the barely there color it gives, very polished with a peach/gold sheen. Works great as a wash with many other colors, very versatile!
