I love using brush liquid liners, but this one was weird to use. The brush was way too long to handle well. Also, the formula was really watery, so when i applied it, it would sometimes go in my eye. The only good thing about this is that it doesnt crack or flake and it is long-wearing. But this was just too much of a hassle.

This is my first liquid liner and it was so easy to use and the felt tip made application a cinch. I would definitely recommend this to a first time user. However, I was surprised when I bought it that it wasn't as black as I thought it was. I have the mineral gray and it has a sparkle to it, which I've gotten used to. I would buy this product again.

Oh how I love this eyeliner. It ranks up there in my top three. The brush is just stiff enough, yet has a nice give to it too. To me it is easy to apply, and if I make a slight mistake I just put a little bit of dark shadow over the top and kind of smudge it a bit. I have both colors that these come in right now -- Mineral Grey and Earthen Rock. Mineral Grey is a dark grey with just enough sparkle to give it some dimension. I use that color the most. The Earthen Rock is a very dark, flat, brown that is actually darker to me than the Mineral Grey color. I use Urban Decay's Primer Potion to help my shadow stay put, so I can't say how long lasting the eyeliner is without that -- but with it, it lasts all day with just a little bit coming off in the corners of my eyes where I sometimes rub them. Overall I don't feel like I'm missing out by not purchasing more expensive brands that are similar. I just wish that there were more color choices -- that would make this product much more exciting!

This is a very nice liquid liner. Felt tips are the best, in my opinion. They help paint a steadier, cleaner line.
The only thing I don't like about this liner is that it is not completely matte jet black. There is a sheen to it, and I really don't like how this looks. I have to resort to putting pencil eyeliner over it, or black eyeshadow, because I can't stand the sheen. I wish it was just matte jet black.
Otherwise, I like this eyeliner.

I really dont know how I feel about this product. It is good for the price which is a plus. The brush initially has too much product but thats okay since you can take some off. My problem is, that this is a really hard liner to use, the line takes a really really really long time to draw for me, if i want it precise. Also it takes a lot of practice to get it right up to the lash line. Im not that good with eyeliner so that maybe my problem. But once Im done with the line it is very nice, and well intense. Good for a night on the town, and it lasts through everything. I will repurchase because it is a must have for the stash, but Ive had the same tube for over a year and Im not even half way through. =)

Ah, black eyeliner--since my early-'80s junior high days it's been the one cosmetic I cannot do without. My product choices have evolved over time--from long Wet & Wild pencils that smudged at first blink, through Maybelline Twin Eyebrow Pencils melted at the tip with a cigarette lighter, through various other mystery brands, up to Revlon Colorstay, which smudged the least of any other pencil I tried (but did, alas, still smudge after a while). Sometime in the mid-'90s I realized a pencil could never achieve the retro-glam cat-eye look I desired, and that I'd have to brave the daunting prospect of liquid liner. Don't know what drew me to Lineur Intense--must've been the packaging, enabling me to see how super-thin the brush was...or perhaps it was the only liquid available in the drugstore at that moment. At any rate, it was love at first stroke, and I've rarely strayed from it ever since. That doesn't mean I've perfected my technique--even with over a decade of experience, I still have frustrating super-spazzy days where the brush goes all over the place and my little outer-corner upsweep turns into a Rorschach inkblot test. However, when all the stars are in alignment and I'm able to draw a perfect line, no other product surpasses this. I have a way easier and more comfortable time with the brush than with most "felt-tip" applicators, which tend to feel like little spikes poking at my eyelid (a la Almay or Colorstay liquid). I first tried the L'oreal felt-tip version, formerly called Line Intensifique, quite a while ago, and I remember not caring for it very much--its color wasn't as bold, and the tube seemed to dry up really fast. Seeing the ease-of-use raves here made me want to try it again, so I just bought a new tube of felt-tip Lineur Intense for comparison purposes. While the tip is softer than that of other brands, I still have difficulty getting it right up close to my lashes, and I don't feel it gives as elegant or bold a line as the brush. I'll keep experimenting with it, but I do believe the brush-tip version will maintain its HG status. I use it on the top lashline only; if I want any eyeliner on the bottom lid, I use either Colorstay or Almay 16-hour pencils. It usually lasts all day, but sometimes it does wear off at the inner corners after a few hours; however, this may be partly due to my absent-minded habit of digging out gunk (real or imaginary) from the corners of my eyes with my index fingernails several times a day. I use Lineur Intense on a daily basis but a tube can easily last me for a year or so--which probably ain't sanitary, but I've never had any problems. Application requires patience and a steady hand, but the results are totally worth the effort.

I love the intense color of this liner but find that it doesn't hold up so well. Yesterday, I forgot to put on mascara and noticed flakes on my eyelashes and under my eyes. I find the long handle a little awkward as well so I probably wont purchase this again.

this is my HG eyeliner. i've tried tons and this is the one i keep coming back to... probably because of the price and the felt tip.
this tip makes line is pointed (and even though i slip sometimes, it's pretty easy to fix/correct)... but generally, i find it's easier to make a really thick line instead of a fine line. i wouldn't recommend this to someone who wants minimal coverage. but then again, i've never really found the people who want minimal coverage want liquid liner. i started wearing this because i was on camera a lot and was told that liquid liner is the only thing to wear on air. it is.
as i've mentioned in other reviews, my eyes water a lot when it's cold. that being said, i have found this doesn't really run when my eyes water. although when i apply the liner to my water line (lower lashes, interior), it does not last a long time. i haven't been able to find a liquid liner that does last long there, though.
end of the day, i will keep buying this, over and over. i wear black mica and some brown color. varying from that scares me.

Hands down the best liquid liner I have ever used. I recently tried the Revlon Colorstay in black brown to see how it would stand up to this, but I found in comparison that it did not last as long by far to my L’Oreal Lineur Intense. I use this in earthen rock brown for daytime since it's less harsh in colour, I have pretty fair skin. I use black mica when I'm looking for a little more intense drama at night. As far as the design itself goes, it’s great! The soft flexible brush makes it foolproof and easier to control how thin or thick you want your line to be. I don't have any complaints about this product to report.

The best liquid eyeliner I have ever used. I've tried about a dozen, and I only use liquid, and this one has the softest applicator, and it goes on so precisely. Another user wrote that it wiped off, and that has never happened to me in my life ever since i was 14 years old when i started using it. It dries on, and stays on. Maybe the one who wrote that was using a greasy eye cream that made it smudge, because with this eyeliner it honestly is close to impossible unless you've been crying. The colour is indeed very intense, and the application is soo easy and you can make nice artwork with it. It's one that you have to at least try once. In this case, more expensive ISN'T necessarily better. I've tried more expensive lines, and this beats all of them!

I love this eyeliner! The application is very easy for a liquid eyeliner. I can get it to be as thick/thin as I want. the packaging is very elegant and pretty. my only complaint is that it smudges a little by after about two hours. i have the black one and recently purchased the grey one ( called something mica). i like the grey one much better because the effect is more natural. a definitely repurchase.
edit: look is very sharp (as opposed to soft). even mineral grey is very intense.

Well, it is liner and it is intense. At first, anyway. I just bought this in the Carbon Black - which is VERY intense black, as advertised. The felt tip applicator is extremely user friendly, made application a breeze. The product flows very smoothly. Unfortunately, it lasted from about the time I put it on at my dresser until I got in my car 30 minutes later. When I looked in the rearview mirror I was astounded to be confronted my own unadorned eyes. Fabulous liner that doesn't even make it to work with me is not something I can use. I won't repurchase.

This review is for Lineur Intense Felt Tip in Mineral. It is very similar to Agnes B's eyeliner which I can no longer obtain as CCB stopped shipping to the US. It is a golden black shimmery eyeliner that is still mostly black with a subtle gold shimmer. The felt tip is less pointed than the Agnes B but goes on well and is flexible enough to make a line close to the lash line. I use a primer on my eyelids and with that it stayed on 12 hours except for the winged parts which had come off by then (I had also taken a 2 hr nap!!). No stinging or puffiness. I used it only on the upper lash line.

This felt tip brush liner would be good for someone new to liquid liners but the tip didn't give me the control of my beloved Urban Decay.
It lasted thru the day and Black Mica is a nice shiny black. I just didn't find myself reaching for it very often. I prefer a liquid liner for this effect.

I, too, have tried many liquid eyeliners in a wide range of prices. This is the best. It's easy to apply, lasts all day... The problem, though, is that the product itself doesn't last long. I've had to throw it away after a few days because the tip had dried. It costs @ $7 which isn't bad, BUT if you need to replace it every week - that can add up.

I got this on clearance so I figured I wouldn't get upset if I didn't like it. Imagine my surprise when I did like it. The color goes on smoothly, dries fast and I can make thin or thick lines with ease. The color I got is Mineral Grey which is a dark grey with gold flecks. Nice change from black but still dark enough to define. At first I didn't like the felt tip but I've gotten used to it and now I prefer it to a brush tip. Doesn't flake or smear. Lasts for hours despite my oily lids.

Yes, its lineur intense.. not liner intense.
I have (also) been using this product for about 5 years (or more). Its the only liquid liner I use. It lasts all day long, you dont ever have to worry about reapplying even during the night. The only problem I have with this product is when Im applying it, it always gets on my lashes which I believe is because of the packaging. It makes my lashes thin out and clump when I apply mascara afterwards so you have to be careful when you are applying. This product also dries quickly, so if you make a mistake - simply take a damp cotton swab and erase your mistake.
I also want to note that the felt tip totally sucks ! Dont buy it, it doesnt last long at all, the application takes forever and doesnt go on properly. The previous product review is for the brush tip.

Best eyeliner i've ever used so far. Doesn't smear, doesn't smudge, dries quickly. But if you mess up it is still easy to correct with a brush. The tip is also easy to control and I get it so that the line is super thin and I've gotten multiple compliments!
