Dear Full n' Soft, why did I ever leave you all those years ago? I suppose I figured that with my growing (i.e., no longer an allowance from the parents) budget, my mascara needed to be more expensive. I see the error of my young and foolish ways. This definitely works better than the higher-end (and other drugstore) mascaras that I've tried, and it frees up a few bucks to spend on that other product that I think should be more expensive to work well--lipgloss. :) I'll definitely know better than to stray next time.

even though i'm a certifiable mascara-hoarding lunatic, Full'n'Soft was one that somehow slipped by me until this past year when i decided to try it out due to all the raving reviews it gets. i can definitely see why so many people adore this mascara, it's really great for all of your basic mascara needs! i call this my 'slap it on and go!' mascara because it's the one i always reach for when i have five minutes to get ready and don't have the time to do a super careful application and use my metal lash comb. after curling my lashes with my Shiseido (which i always warm up with the blowdryer first), i can just quickly apply Full'n'Soft without having to worry about clumps and mascara-overload and it gives me nice, long, softly thickened lashes that look fluffy and naturally pretty. another great thing about this mascara is that you can touch it up later on in the day and it doesn't clump and look horrible! i hate mascaras that you can't touch up! i also really love that when you pull the brush out of the tube, it doesn't have tons of mascara loaded on it that you have to wipe off with a tissue (i really HATE doing that and i don't feel that you should have to wipe away excess product if the mascara is well-made). i never wiggle when i apply, because i've found that for people who don't have super thick, long lashes all wiggling does is deposit a ton of mascara at the base of your lashes which immediately kills your curl and fuses your lashes together. i just take the brush and wedge it into my lash base and sweep straight up, using a light hand, and repeat until i get the look i want. it wears well, holds a curl, doesn't flake or smudge and removes very easily with whatever cleanser i happen to be using. Full'n'Soft doesn't give me super long or dramatic lashes, but it makes up for that with how easy it is to apply. i will always keep this around for a soft, feathery look that is easy to get. definitely a great product, worthy of all the hype!

This product is amazing. It delivers what it promises. No stiff lashes and it thickens nicely. Far superior to the higher end brands I've tried. Would definitely repurchase!

I remember using this as one of my first mascara purchases when I was about fourteen or something. Sara Michelle Gellar had done the commercial and I had to try it. It was very good, even though back then I didn't know you were supposed to do more than one coat for a magnetized effect. I have since learned a lot more about makeup and would be more than willing to try this again.

I've tried a couple of drugstore mascara (Almay, L'Oreal, Rimmel, Cover Girl) and I like the way my lashes look the best from this mascara. It does lengthening and thickening pretty well. It's easy to remove too (a MUST for me). The only down side is it does smudge and flake a little after 4 hours on me so I must bring Q-Tips with me and check on the mirror ever so often to clean up. But it's not serious smudging or flaking. Just a bit.

Well, most of everything is just good, I mean good.It is very easy to remove, very easy to put on but the brush is kinda a little bit big.Do not say it is hard to remove, just wash your face with warm water then use the remover afterward, voila! then your lashes and eyes should be clean now.It is not smudge and clumpy.I <3 it so much.Whats more, when u wear it, your lashes will set so good, I have kinda short lashes for Asian eyes, but after I curled it and put mascara on, it made them longer and set just perfect, never fall downIt has only one bad thing, it won't make your lashes look thick.I will definitely buy it again.Reasonable price with good qualities.Tip: use it with Shu Uemura eyelashes curler.Best one ever!

As another user said, while this product does plump up your lashes(fairly nicely), it leaves all this messy smudging afterward (negating the added volume)And being annoying mascara, when you try to wash off the mess, it smudges even more and proves itself to be a project to remove :(I don't think this product deserves such a high rating, it's misleading.

The brush is too big and you get too much product on it so application ends up being quite a messy affair. It does give some added volume/length (so they got the FULL part right) but it clumps so much (nay on the SOFT part). I really don't think it deserves the uber high rating. My fave drugstore mascara is still Cover Girl Lash Exact.

I don’t know why so many like this product, I thought it was terrible. I have regular lashes, neither thick nor thin. I bought this in ‘very black’ because it has received so many glowing reviews. However, I am disappointed to review that in my opinion this one does not cut it. Yes, it will give you some volume and impact to your eyes- but that’s where the good news stops. I have been wearing this now for two weeks. Firstly, as many have noted, the product is wet and easily clumps and smears during the process of application. It especially had a tendency to smear all over my lower lashes when I blinked. Due to the products wet consistency, it had a tendency to run into my eyes when I would apply from the root to the tip of my lashes. I had to be very careful when applying this product to ensure that would not happen. Now, I wipe my applicator brush with some Kleenex before applying. I also have to be very slow and precise. Despite my precautions it still clumps, especially at the tips of my lashes. I think of the formula was improved this would be a much better product. As for the final problem with this product, it is impossible to remove. I use my water proof makeup remover and face wash to take it off, yet I always find more in my crease, nestled at the root of my lashes, and all over my lower lash line. Pros: (1) nice volume and attention to my eyesCons: (1) difficult apply due to wet formula (2) smears easily (3) impossible to take off. Bottom Line: I won’t buy this again, this will only damage my eyes and the delicate skin area around them. My only advice is to buy with discretion.
