wooooow, try this product with cover girl great lash, and you will fall in love. i usually apply the cover girl to the roots of my lashes and top it off with full and soft to add length.

i get complimented everyday on how long and pretty my lashes are (they reach my eyebrows!)

so i would go out and try these two together. they are amazing!

While this mascara is wonderful, it is not my HG. This mascara has a normal/slightly bigger brush than some, and is soft, not hard. I have short, stubby lashes.
PROS: adds a lot of length, good volume, holds a curl very well (when used with a good eyelash curler), doesn't clump/flake/smear, good lasting power, I can reapply a couple of times throughout the day without it become very clumpy, adds great definition but still looks natural (to make it more dramatic I just add more coats)
CONS: while my lashes don't feel as brittle as they do with other mascaras this doesn't keep them soft. took off one lippie for this.

overall, I would definitely recommend trying this mascara!

This droops and does not hold a curl, even with Shiseido Mascara Base. If you don't have that problem it's a nice mascara. However it doesn't give you much drama. You REALLY have to work at it to make it look dramatic. Mostly it gives you a pretty natural look, which is a bit too natural for me.

It doesn't flake, clump, or smudge.

This smudges and applies very messy. I prefer CoverGirl Volume Exact.

Shiseido Mascara Base under Maybelline's Full and Soft Mascara is a match made in heaven. My lashes are longer and more full. And best of all, it lasts all day without smudging.

Dosen't hold a curl for me, lenghtens a bit,
makes them look thicker. It's good for the workplace, but
I did not get the results I wanted.
I would re-vamp up the packaging though, i don't know
it looks so plain and simple.

Still my HG after 8+ years. No matter what HE or DS mascara I try, I ALWAYS come back to Full N Soft. I'm sometimes asked if I'm wearing false lashes and consider that a compliment to Full N Soft. It is the ONLY mascara that will hold a curl for me, never clumps..... I use the waterproof formula. It's my soul mate :) PLEASE DO NOT DISCONTINUE THIS MASCARA.

I love this product and actually have a hard time finding it now (I was scared they discontinued it). It does have a curved brush or at least it did at one point. I've used my same brush (okay, I know that is bad) over and over again. I do clean the brush with each new tube but I couldn't find the curved brush anymore so I wonder if they discontinued that part. Love it in the blackest black.....

I bought this product because of the reviews here on MUA and have to say that since I purchased this I haven't gone back to my GREAT LASH!!! I got a good batch because it never clumped up only towards the end I guess when it starts running out. Like it and wish it came in a curved brush I have straight lashes and could use the extra curve!!!

Honestly, I just don't get the hype over this mascara.
If you want soft natural looking lashes, this does deliver. However, if you want length and volume, pass on it.
I don't think it makes my lashes overly "full"-looking.
I used 4 coats trying to build up more volume and length for the evening, and it did not do anything but make my lashes stick together into blobs.
It's great for that natural lash look during the day, but you will definitely want to get something else for a more dramatic look.
It doesn't smudge or flake which is a plus. Removes easily.
I only gave it a 3 because it isn't versatile or buildable, I need a mascara that can go from natural looking to long and voluminous with a few coats.
EDIT::: OK I'm adding another lippie. This is impressing me more and more. When I first got it, it was thin and not building lashes well. Now that it's drying out (over 2 wks) it is applying like a dream, thickening and lengthening my lashes nicely. perfect for daily wear.
