I don’t know why so many like this product, I thought it was terrible. I have regular lashes, neither thick nor thin. I bought this in ‘very black’ because it has received so many glowing reviews. However, I am disappointed to review that in my opinion this one does not cut it. Yes, it will give you some volume and impact to your eyes- but that’s where the good news stops. I have been wearing this now for two weeks. Firstly, as many have noted, the product is wet and easily clumps and smears during the process of application. It especially had a tendency to smear all over my lower lashes when I blinked. Due to the products wet consistency, it had a tendency to run into my eyes when I would apply from the root to the tip of my lashes. I had to be very careful when applying this product to ensure that would not happen.

Now, I wipe my applicator brush with some Kleenex before applying. I also have to be very slow and precise. Despite my precautions it still clumps, especially at the tips of my lashes. I think of the formula was improved this would be a much better product.

As for the final problem with this product, it is impossible to remove. I use my water proof makeup remover and face wash to take it off, yet I always find more in my crease, nestled at the root of my lashes, and all over my lower lash line.

Pros: (1) nice volume and attention to my eyes

Cons: (1) difficult apply due to wet formula (2) smears easily (3) impossible to take off.

Bottom Line: I won’t buy this again, this will only damage my eyes and the delicate skin area around them. My only advice is to buy with discretion.

I keep coming back to this one. Besides the brush being a little too big for my small eyes, it really performs. thickens, lengthens, and curls, with no clumping!
well done Maybelline. now if i could just ask you to cut out the animal testing............?

Wonderful, fantastic, lovely mascara!!! The brush is great, application is a breeze, and this leaves my lashes looking, well.... full and soft! (sorry to be so cheesy, but it's true ;-) This what I use when I want natural looking lashes with a bit of oomph. I will definitely repurchase, this is one of the best mascaras out there!

I really liked this mascara and used it for a long while. But, I like Clinique's Naturally Glossy alot better. Its the next best thing to Clinique's though :)

One of my best friends uses this mascara and has for years. I always asked her what she used and she told me, "Full and Soft!". Her lashes are unbelievable, almost fake looking, but never spidery or clumped. This is probably one of the best drugstore brands you can buy.

I've used tons of mascaras and for some reason I find myself re-buying this over and over..I love it! I like that you can layer it without it being too thick, and it doesn't smudge or anything on me.

The thing that has impressed me about this product is how long it lasts in the tube. It does not get chunky or gummy quickly and I don't struggle to comb out my lashes when I use it. I wish it gave a little more length to my lashes but overall it is a good product.

Love, love, love it! This is my HG and mascara is my thing.

Great brush, great 'scara, fab results and no flaking. I've even slept in this stuff and wake up without a smudge. (but don't be lazy like me, wash your face)

This mascara is pretty great for everyday use. Like most Maybelline mascaras, it does what it says. After application, my lashes do look healthy soft, and more voluminous. My only problem with this mascara is that it does not hold curl. The formula is a little too thin so I have to "over-curl" my lashes to achieve the perfect curl. Although it doesn't give me the big, dramatic lash, it works great as a "second coat". Use one coat of any lengthening mascara (I use Define-A-Lash) then add a coat of Full and Soft and you can maximize the results of this mascara. Overall, the quality of this mascara is great for its price, but it is not my HG.

As much as I wanted to like this mascara, I was very disappointed. I heard from people that it's a very good natural mascara, so I purchased it. Just like all the other Maybelline mascaras I've tried, it's super wet, and you can easily clump on a couple of coats without the intention to do so. I found a better way to apply it now, but it still smudges on my lower lash line - now I have kind of a cloudy spot there and I'm certain now that it's not from my eyeliner =| The brush is alright, except it gets a lot of mascara when you pull it from the tube, I had to wipe a little bit on Kleenex so that I didn't have huge clumps. I have this in soft black and it's not "soft" black at all, I have naturally black hair, and this color makes my lashes look like the fake, artificial black hair colors you get from cheap hair dyes or something. Wouldn't buy again unless they changed the formula.
