UGLY UGLY bottle! For someone who has good tastes most of the time, she messed up on this! The packaging looks like it's for a 10 yr old and the box looks cheap. Now, with the actual fragrance: It's very banana-y and coconut-y. It reminds me alot of suntan lotion, but with a kick of tropical fruit. It's really strong and cloying, so I wouldn't recommend for work. Only on your own time. I could see people getting headaches with this!

This perfume reminds me so much of the beach, it has a yummy coconut note intermingled with a candy like orange scent. Once you've smelled the coconut and orange a salty note envelops your skin and takes you away to a day at the beach. All together the notes mesh very well creating an absolutely gorgeous scent that is reminiscent to me of a tropical getaway in a bottle. To top it off the musk is like the cherry on top helping to give the fragrance a lasting impression for hours and hours. I put this on early evening and it lasted well into the next morning. 5 stars if you ask me and I will definitely be repurchasing again and again. Very magical fragrance.

I just walked in the door from purchasing this fragrance. After finding Queen Helene Mango Cocoa Butter lotion I am craving coconut and mango together in ANYTHING. While it's more complex than that, J. Lo's latest is MUCH better than the original Glow. It has more personality - there's a soft musk cradled in warm tropical fruits. I literally just sprayed it on and I'm definitely getting a similar "clean" tone (a la the original Glow).
I like it a lot but as with all fragrance, have whiff before you buy! Price not bad at $30.
EDIT: HUGE HUGE headaches. Both the BF and I got nasty headaches after about a half hour of smelling this, so unfortunately it's going back.

overall this is not a bad scent if you like a really really strong soapy drydown with a hint of coconut. The inital spritz was mango, coconut, and suntan lotiony smell... the drydown was just so overpowering soapy that I didnt like it. (started to bother me - headache). Will not purchase this one again.

I have worn this now for several days and I have to say I really like it. A very fruity, tropical scent. At first I thought it smelled like the inside of a beauty supply store but after it dries, it's wonderful. Will be a summer staple for me. The packaging is a little cheesy so I just put it in my cabinet.

I am not a J.Lo hater, so my review is very objective. I sprayed this on in the dept store, and found this very pleasant. VERY tropical. I've gotten compliments since I've purchased my 1 oz. bottle. (My usual staples are Sensi, Angel Innocent, Issey Miyake, Escape, Marc Jacobs, Bulgari pour femme just to name a few) I also find this completely different from the original GLOW, which I think is an "okay" scent. I agree that the packaging is kind of juvenile(I'm 25, and like packaging to be a lil' more classy) Overall a pleasant and fun scent. Definitely a "pick-er-upper" during the winter doldrum. Try it w/o prejudice. You may just like it!

I just received a sample bottle from my g/f who works in NYC. It smells so tropical, alot of banana, coconut & melon. I really like it for the summer but it doesn't last long at all on me. Sprayed it on four friends at the same time and in 1/2 hour we couldn't smell it anymore!! Maybe the dept. store bottle will have more staying power. Probably will purchase in the spring.

I gave this the quick-wrist-spray-test in Dillards. I actually kind of liked it at first, but half an hour later I regretted testing it. It turned to this strong, cloying soap smell, like "Zest Mountain Fresh" or something. Not nice at all, bleah. It does have good staying power though, I smelled it on my fingers until I took a shower the next day, unfortunately.

I saw this for the first time tonight, at our local Navy Exchange store. I didn't know J.Lo had come out with another version of Glow, so I was pretty surprised to see this cute bottle on display. Just like the MUAer before me described, the bottle looks just like the original Glow but it's glossy and it has different colors. Instead of the necklace, around the neck it has a bracelet with a pair of golden flip-flops..very cute! I definitely like this packaging more than that of the original Glow, not to mention that of Still!
The fragrance, at first, was too strong and fruity...it smells exactly like a basket of overripe exotic fruits that was left in the sun; so, you can imagine, my first impression was not so good.
I sprayed it on my wrist, got this suffocating fruity whiff and shortly after that, I left the store.
And then I started smelling this really interesting scent...a clean, beautiful scent. I didn't know where it was coming from. I thought it was my Eau Torride that I had sprayed on my neck this morning, but it wasn't. It was Miami Glow! It mellowed out into a clean, different type of scent! WOW! I can't wait to get myself a bottle of this!!
It might not become my holy grail, but it'll be a fun scent to wear..especially when you long for summer!!
**UPDATE** 05/24/2005
I gave in and bought a bottle of this! After trying it that one time at our local Navy Exchange store, I couldn't stop thinking about this summery beautiful scent! I knew it'd be perfect for our summer vacation, so I bought it! I'm so glad I did!
What a wonderful scent! I got tired of Glow and, as a matter of fact I don't wear it anymore. I tested Still at another Navy Exchange store and I thought it was just terrible! Boring and cheap smelling.
Miami Glow is, on the other hand, anything you've ever wanted a summer fragrance to be! It's not citrusy, as one might think. It has that warmth that reminds you of the sun...it has the sweet lingering scent of beach sand mixed with tan lotion.
It has a carefree scent of coconut and fruits...the first time I smelled it, I thought the fruity notes were too overwhelming, but now I find them just perfect!
I personally never smelt anything quite like this!
Awesome scent, really! I plan on taking this with me on our trip to Italy this summer!! YAY! :)
Oh, and I think the packaging is so pretty! Much prettier than Glow's and Still's!

The multi-tasking/multi-talented (depending on your perspective, I suppose) beauty from the block is back again with a new fragrance! This time, Ms. Lopez has reinvented her original fragrance claim-to-fame in South Floridian form. The Miami Glow bottle has the same shape as the original Glow, minus the bling chains and added a friendship-bracelet material beach bracelet or anklet with dangly sandal charms. It's cute, but it definitely seems more appropriate for display on a younger girl/tween's dresser than an older woman. I had to deduct a lippie because the packaging comes off as kinda drugstore cheap. It really is just supposed to be festive and fresh, so I won't let that really detract from my overall impression. Released on a limited department store basis (got mine at Marshall Field's in Orland Park, IL) and available only in 1 oz. bottles (retail $30) pre-holiday, the scent officially comes out in February. While it may seem ridiculous that perfume companies insist on releasing their summer scents in the dead of winter, I think this may just be a great cast-off-the-cold pick-me-up come the frigid months! While the original Glow is a soapy, clean musk scent, Miami Glow is all out beachy orange with a coconutty undertone, reminiscent of sunscreen. I plan on toting it with me on my -- gasp! -- escape to Miami for X-Mas.
Thankfully, to my nose, it does not suffer from the plastic syndrome many sunscreen-ish scents do (hello, Exact Friction of the Stars). Quality wise, J.LO MG reminds me very much of Escada's limited summer fragrances. It is unique, however - not a rip off of Ibiza Hippie, Island Kiss or Rockin' Rio. It's actually better than the last two. Staying power is great -- it's pretty strong, I sprayed it on my wrist at probably 7 p.m. last night and since I've yet to shower this morning, I can still smell a trace of it on my skin. To me, Glow is nice and Still is forgetable. MG could very well may be the best scent J. Lo and her booty have to offer so far!
