hmmm, several of the previous reviewers are complaining that it smells like barf. i use this every night, and have more or less gotten used to the smell. though the sa asked me not to rub or scrub, i still do that a little. however, it may take more than a few splashes of water to get off totally. overall, this is a great product from dr hauschka's range.

I have been using this exfoliating cleanser for over a year. A little pricey but if you consider that you are getting a scrub and a cleanser in one, then it really isn't that expensive. Nice natural rose scent and makes my skin feel really smooth without needing a separate scrub. Also, as my skin is oily, I find that it's comfortable to use all year round, even winter. Leaves a slight oily film on the skin so there's no "too-tight" feel to the skin after cleansing. The drawback is that it doesn't remove makeup, so you will need a lotion for that first. Also, I don't really like the metal packaging that much, it gets dented easily and there's no way you can squeeze out the last bit of the cleanser.

I like this very much. Leaves skin soft and smooth. I actually kind of like the smell -- it just smells a little citrus-y to me -- but maybe I have a strange sense of smell. It is kind of a pain, though, to do the rolling-and-patting thing that you're supposed to do.

I love this exfolliating cleanser. I hate the smell but it makes my skin feel incredibly smooth. I don't use it everyday - maybe 2x/week.

This is a staple Dr. Hauschka product for me. Love, love, love it! It's a gentle scrub, but very effective, too. I use it on my combo skin several times a week without feeling like I'm over exfoliating or stripping my face of moisture. My face feels so soft and clean after I use it, it's all I can do to keep myself from rubbing my cheeks all day!

Got a sample and loved the smell! used in combination with the oil pills, facial toner and normalising day oil. Pimples were reduced and now it's quite clear except for the scars. So i guess it could be a combination of all these products, and pores seemed smaller. However, will deduct one lipstick cos it kinda leaves a oily film on the skin after cleansing. Like not throughly cleaned.

Great cleanser for the morning but sucks for taking out makeup. I guess its not all in one, but very cooling and soothing. I like the smell, its not too strong. A little pricey but its very gentle and its hard to find a gentle scrub like this for very sensitive skin. The metal packaging sucks, cracks and falls apart. I wish this was cheaper.

Having read all the reviews on MUA I so wanted to love this product. Unfortunately it didn't love me. My skin is dehydrated although oily and acne prone. This product caused me to breakout and really aggravated it. The rolling patting action is strange but entirely necessary otherwise your skin will end up being sore and red like mine. I really tried to master this product. Oh well. The smell is wierd too, faintly alcoholic I'm sure.

This cleanser is quite good, though I haven't gotten the rolling technique down yet. I actually like the smell, too! It leaves my skin very refreshed and not tight at all. Still, I am going to try the Eve Lom cleanser next and see how it compares...

This is nice to use in the morning (since it isn't made to remove make up)if your skin needs a rest from traditional cleansers. I actually like the smell but I am used to natural scents and can't handle synthetic fragrance. I roll and press then gently scrub my t-zone with it before rinsing off. I know Dr.H says no scrubbing but a Dr.H facialist said it was ok to very lightly scrub for a few seconds. I use a facial sponge to remove any residue that may be left over otherwise it will break me out.

This is amazing. My skin actually GLOWS after using this cleanser. I've only used it 4 times now, and not in a row, but I can tell you this.... if you can get over the small (which isn't that great, but isn't terrible, either - just not perfume-y) your skin will be so.... healthy looking. This will probablyb continue to be my "comfort" cleanser for a long time.

I like this because the granules are so fine and the scent is earthy. I only use it twice a week when my skin feels truly scuzzy. It doesnt exactly foam, but it leaves me clean, but not stripped.

I suffered a itchiness spell on my two cheeks when I started to use it. The supplier who brought it into singapore said its cos my skin is too sensitive so she switch me to the cleansing milk till my skin can get used to the rythmic ingredients in the products. Hate the smell.

I actually like the smoky, earthy scent of this cleanser, which, unlike almost every other one I've tried, doesn't strip my skin and hydrates it without leaving a greasy film. The exfoliating granules are extremely gentle and haven't irritated my fairly sensitive, combination skin. I plan to purchase this again when my current tube runs out.

An excellent cleanser. And a great exfoliater in one. Makes skin feel soft without being too dried out. Plus I love natural products.

I have to admit that i don't actually follow the instructions for using this product. You are advised to dampen your skin and then apply the cleanser by pressing and rolling your hands over your face to work it into your skin. I'm basically lazy and can't be bothered so i just rub it into my skin and then wash it off. The instructions advise you not to do this as it contains some very small grains which they say will remove skin cells that are not yet ready to be removed but i find it incredibly gentle and not at all like a facial scrub. I've been using it now for 8 weeks and my skin looks great. Most of my blemishes faded and my skin looks more even toned and healthy. The only thing i don't like about this product is the fact that it comes in a metal tube and as you towards the end of the tube it tends to split and leak which is a waste. I would probably buy this again but i'm going to give the Eve Lom cleanser a try next before i decide.

I like this exfoliating cleanser. It feels a little grainy (especially on my dry winter skin), so I add a bit of jojoba oil. This cleanser exfoliates gently and leaves my skin feeling clean. Don't really like the tube it comes in. It keeps toppling over in my medicine cabinet. But it's a nice cleanser. Probably not suited for extremely sensitive skin. I also don't use it every day. I alternate this with the Ellen Lange Mineral Cleanser.

Okay, about the smell...immediate reminder of the smell of my own vomit. That said, now I'm used to it and frankly kinda like it in a non- bulimic sort of way. I use this either in the morning or after washing my eye makeup off with another product. I have combo skin and this doesn't strip my skin like some others. Feels nice. I'm on my 3rd or 4th tube so far

At first, I hated the scent of this product. But I have gotten used to that, and the benefits of using this line have far outweighed any "ick" factor from the scent. I adore this cleanser...haven't found anything better on the market, and believe me, I've tried a LOT! This is a fabulous cleanser that gets my skin clean, rids my face of any flakes, and doesn't dehydrate. There are granules in this, but they're extremely gentle and non-irritating. I have VERY sensitive skin, so this would certainly be an issue if the product wasn't so darned gentle. Using this product in combination with other Dr. H. products has evened out my skin tone and made a huge difference. I'm in love. : )

Searching for a winter-time cleanser that wouldn't strip my combo skin - I stumbled onto this after my positive experience with Dr. H's Rejuvenating Mask. While the mode of application is a bit more time consuming than I am normally used to - I have to say the results so far have been worth it. My skin feels soft and smooth and not the slightest bit aggrevated. It takes a bit of practice to get the 'rolling' application technique down - but once you do it's a cinch. For the record - I didn't notice a real strong scent and I am usually pretty sensitive (no pun intended) in that area.
