I bought this foundation for the first time 2 years ago and ive been buying it again, because i like the texture, i prefer mousse, stick foundation formula than liquid one, i guess because its more easy to apply.
Whit my oily skin, and its not oil free, but this kinda works well, i am afraid to try new foundations that break out my skin. Thats one of the reasons that i continue to purchase.
I like the fact that it has good coverage, the finish really its matte, so you apply less powder. What i didnt like is that in really hight temperature the makeup doesnt stay long, it melts. But its great for your every day makeup.
I hope Maybelline doesnt discontinue this foundation, i love the Matte Mousse line, quality products and affordable prices.

i LOVE this product.
- Feels smooth and creamy
- I haven't really smelled it but who cares? It's definitely not an awful smell
- I've been using this for the past 2 years
- Stays on well

This product completely broke me out all over my face, especially my cheeks. The coverage was decent, but felt heavy/greasy and I personally thought it looked cakey. It was gross-feeling in general, and i will never purchase this product ever again. To be fair, I also tried the Maybelline Dream Matte Powder, which wasn't too bad at all- unlike the mousse, which my skin is still recovering from.

It did not do anything for my skin except a little burning irritation. There was no coverage. Smell was so-so. My color range was too orange. Did not work for ME.

This product destroyed my face! I bought it on a whim at the drugstore and tried it the next day. I have combination skin, and it ended up causing me to break-out AND have huge patches of dry skin. At the same time. Spent the next couple of weeks trying to heal my skin. Definitely a "do not buy."

I had problems with finding a foundation that is the right colour for my skin and that stays on for longer than an hour or two. I found this in a store and decided to try it as it was a good brand name and was really cheap (£5) but also on a buy 3 for the price of 2 offer! So basically, it was really cheap and looked good when I tested it.
This foundation is amazing. It covers my face evenly which is difficult for most foundations I have used. It hasn't affected my skin at all and gives my skin a natural looking glow!
The only bad point, hence giving it a 4 instead of a 5 is that I would have liked the product to stay on for longer. Compared to other foundations, this stays on a bit longer but not a considerable amount of time more.
Overall, I would thoroughly recommend this product to people that have problems finding a decent foundation as you won't be disappointed with this one!

This stuff made my face feel soooo gross and it broke me out! Yuck!

I absolutely adore Dream Matte Mousse! I don't really use any other foundation because this one works so perfectly for me. I have oily skin which can sometimes lean a little bit towards combination in the winter, and this looks so good on it.
It doesn't look cakey, it looks very natural. It has amazing coverage - I rarely need a concealer underneath, even though I have a lot of acne scars, uneven skin tone, spots etc. It looks beautiful by itself - I do like to use a powder on top sometimes but only on a very bad skin day.
One thing I noticed about this foundation is that the tones are very adaptable. I don't know how this happens but somehow my #20 Cameo is the perfect shade in the winter when I'm pale, AND in the summer when I tan like crazy. My friend (she wears the palest one, whichever that is) noticed the same thing too. So if you get the right general tone, it will work a lot.
The one thing about DMM is that it does highlight your dry areas. So moisturise first! It can on occasion highlight spots but only very, VERY bad ones, and not very much, and a good concealer underneath will fix that.
For the price I paid (€7.49 during a special offer) and considering that this jar has lasted me over a year, this is the most amazing foundation you could ask for. I love it so much. Definitely sticking with it!

my fave drugstore foundation.
covers well and stays on, doesn't make me break out and doesn't irritate my skin at all.
EDIT: no other foundation makes my skin so smooth and considering that i have acne, this is the best thing that i can say from a foundation.
LOVE IT, this is my HG, i only wish they had more colour choices here, becuause we have only five wich is a bit poor.

This foundation is truly gross! It made my skin feel and look extremely greasy. I tried to use this with different methods but the results were all the same. It didn't cover up any imperfections. It even made me break out a little under my chin. ): Very disappointed!
