I am surprised how well this mascara works! I purchased this based on the reviews here during a cherry culture sale. This mascara truly provides length to my eyelashes, does not clump or run. I will definitely purchase this again during another sale.

This is my absolute favorite mascara! It works great for me - but if I over apply, I get spider lashes big time. A light hand plus this mascara is great.

I just tried out this mascara today and it is pretty good, but not the best. It goes on pretty smooth, doesn't clump lashes and keeps them fairly separated. I did notice my lashes to be a bit longer. For me I have to curl my lashes after, otherwise with just the mascara on it doesn't look great and too subtle. The color is good, doesn't irritate my eyes either. Overall it is an okay product. I guess I am more for the dramatic look and this doesn't really offer that. Got it a ULTA so you know for $6.

I've been wanting to buy this for quite some time but I never lived anywhere close to where they sell it and by the time I needed a new mascara I'd just go to the drugstore and pick something up. After browsing a local small beauty supply store I was pleased to see they carried a small stock of NYX products. I was torn between the volume & the long lash version but I picked up the long lash. I'm so pleased with this mascara. I've tried nearly every drugstore mascara over the years (I don't go high end because I replace mine every 3 months) and this has to be one of the best I've tried. On me, it doesn't flake or smudge at all. It keeps my lashes long and separated with one or two coats. I'm a fair blonde so I don't like anymore than 2 coats. I just wish they would make this in a brown or brown black which looks a bit more natural on me. This is my new HG mascara for sure. I just wish it was easier to find.

My sister and I both tried this and while I had an initial period of being pretty happy with it, I ended up returning it to Ulta. I'm admittedly a mascara addict and I like to try everything I come across. But I am picky. My favorite type of mascara is a volumizing one with the ability to hold a curl. My lashes are already long but I like a thick, lush effect.

This has a beautiful, rich black color without any of the grey tinge that I see in many mascaras. It deposits a lot of color and product in only a few coats. I didn't have to sit there and endlessly try to build the formula up. My lashes looked very dense, although slightly pieced together or clumpy. That definitely reminded me of a doll-eye appearance. It had an odd feeling though after it dried... my lashes felt more waxy and pliant than I've ever felt in a mascara. That what ultimately started to bother me. If I accidentally touched my lashes throughout the day adjusting my contacts (or something along those lines) the lashes would immediately clump together and then wilt. It really didn't hold a curl well either.

I kept using this off and on for a few weeks but now that it's become hot this formula is just not working. It has a melting effect: wilting, smudging, and so forth.

On a plus side though, I never noticed any flaking whatsoever. The color was great, and you can't beat the price. It was better than many I've tried and while I wouldn't purchase again I do think it deserves 3 lippies.

I purchased NYX Doll eye mascara in the Long Lash formula. I'll admit it was the cute name that sold me on it. Unfortunately I found this mascara to be quite dry. Now it could just be the tube that I got was drying out already. If this is how this formula is supposed to be I would not repurchase as it does nothing for my lashes but just out of curiousity I may try another tube in the future.

This mascara is just ok to me. I love the brush to get those bottom lashes though, it's perfect for that. It just dries out really fast, and I have nothing really great to say about it.

All around awesome stuff. Dark, glossy, doesn't smudge or flake and lasts 12 hours without getting itchy. Buildable volume and gives beautiful length. Really affordable ($9) at Ulta. Washes off cleanly - more in pieces that in a runny mess - without need for an eye makeup remover. Even with the great reviews here, this turned out to be a terrific surprise I'm adding to my list of staples.

I'm on my second tube of this and have mixed feelings. It's cheap, and doesn't flake off, smudge, or irritate my eyes. Sometimes I love it - it lengthens without looking spidery. Other days, it's impossible to apply and clumps get everywhere. It's only about $7, and I feel I get that much out of it, I just wish it was more reliable.

Generally, this is a great lengthening mascara for the price. Thicker lashes would be nice, but honestly I think this is a great mascara for spring/summer since it gives a nice, neutral clean look. I love the unique shape of this brush, it really gets all your lashes within 1-2 coats. And the color is super black, which I love. I just wish it could hold a curl better and that it was available at a drugstore, but I'll definitely repurchase if I'm making a haul at cherryculture.com since its only $7 there.
