This is a really fantastic mascara. I wonder if this could actually replace the Hypnose mascara which I've been using for a while now.
Edit: Jan. 12/10 - Well no, this could not replace my Hypnose by a long shot... but it's still a relatively good mascara - not a 5 but perhaps more of a 3.9ish. I've not fallen out of love with it completely (yet), but there was a situation at my chiropractor's office that made this into a very questionable product for me. So... picture this: I'm on my stomach and my eyelashes are pressed against a sheet of paper that my chiro places in front of my face while he's adjusting my back... I get up and I feel like my eyelashes are feeling 'funny' (not a cool feelings in the slightest by the way) - thank goodness for the mirror in his office... I have a peek and to my dismay my eyelashes are all stuck to each other going to the one side - like someone had brushed them all outwards -- all of them!! The horror! I found out that if you apply this mascara and don't mess with your eyelashes (meaning nothing touches them) they will be fine... BUT if by any chance you have to be in contact with anything that might press against your face then you might be in trouble! I can see how this could be tricky had I worn it during the holidays when everyone wants to kiss and wish you a 'merry this- and a happy that" but I've not worn it since the chiro office incident... just not worth the trouble.

While I do like this mascara, I think it's not quite as good as it's "sister" NYX's Volume mascara. Long Lash does give me some length and a little thickness, but it's not as dramatic as the Volume mascara. (See my review of that one.) I also noticed a little bit more clumping and some of the fibers (which supposed to help add length) seem to cause some minor flaking, by the end of the day. While I'll use up the 3 tubes I have (- and got at a sale for cheap) I probably won't repurchase, unless NYX were to d/c their Volume mascara.

Becuase of the price I thought I would give this mascara a try. I really don't care for it. i have decently thick and long jet black lashes that don't really need much help to look... flirty. This mascara flakes and clumps on me. My lashes stick together and when I comb through them with a lash comb the product just kind of comes off... like its not sticking to my lashes. So obviously its easy to remove with your average make up remover. As far as the wand goes... the shape is interesting but its hard for me to get my outer lashes with it and it doesn't seperate my lashes as i pull and wiggle. I really am tempted to just toss it since it was so cheep but i hate to be wasteful... so I will finish it but I will not buy it again.

This mascara is highly underrated. I found this at Ulta one day while browsing, and liked the packaging. The brush is rather strange - thin in the middle and thicker at the ends, but I understand the design. It's to help get at the tiny lashes at the inner corners! The formula is outstanding. I can see my lashes lengthening dramatically and actually enjoy putting on this mascara. Will keep purchasing. Am very happy with this product.

This is a nice mascara. It lengthens more than any other mascara I have tried, does not clump and is a rich, glossy black color. Unfortunately, it does flake a little but not too bad. This paired with my Shiseido Makeup Mascara Base (that I just recently discovered) makes for beautiful lashes.

This didn't dramatically lengthen my lashes and I found that it weighed them down.

Though I gave this mascara several chances I ended up just not liking it; much too dry for me to get even application. There are better mascaras at the same price out there that will give your lashes length. Cover Girl Lash Blast, Prestige MBL for instance. Will not repurchase.

this mascara is AMAZING. i naturally have straight, short lashes, and have begun to lose hope on mascaras as they never seemd to work. at ulta one day there was a BOGO salee and i bought it . That night i went to a party and used this for the first time and i was ASTONISHED!! The shape of the brush gave me a great curl and as well as thickend lashes and LONNNNNNG lashes which i love. :] PS: applyy slowly and gently as mentioned or lashes tend to become spideryy

I was so hoping that this would be my HG mascara, but I guess it's just not to be... This is a good mascara, but not fantastic.
I have naturally very long eyelashes with a bit of curl, and I was originally going to get the volume formula, but changed my mind because several reviews said they preferred this to the volume one. But, on my lashes, it almost makes them look too long... It also doesn't quite give the separation I would like.
It's still a good mascara and I'm a huge fan of Nyx, but if you don't already have short lashes, you probably don't need this...

I didnt think this mascara would be all that great as it was so cheap. I was very wrong. I love this mascara, i have repurchased it and will do again. It makes my lashes look long and dramatic. And i like the brush shape also, it took me a while but i really enjoy using it now.
I would definately recommend; it doesnt flake, it lengthens, it doesnt have a wierd smell and its reasonably priced so unlike other high end mascaras, if you dont like it you wont have wasted a lot of money trying the product out.
