I love this! It is so much better than MAC Studio Fix. Studio Fix is way too cakey and unnatural looking, Perfectly Real looks well...perfectly real. On me it gives medium coverage, I still use concealer under it on my old blemish marks. I use shade 102 the lighest, to compare I wear MAC NC15. It doesn't control oil for very long so super oily girls might want to pass.

Just want to point out that the Asian release of this foundation has SPF 15, it is also rectangular with less shades to choose from than the US version. I'm reviewing the Asian release. Coverage leans towards sheer, not very long-lasting. I got mismatched by the SA so I can't comment on the colour match. The compact designed to house this (at least in Asia) is a square silver compact covering a filmsy looking and feeling white plastic base. I wish they'd make the whole thing silver. I think this would suit someone with normal skin who doesn't need heavy coverage or just want to even out skintone.

This product was a bummer. It also turned my face orange. I liked the consistency, but I have the 'orange-effect' problem with all Clinique powders - I always just hope that one will be different. Went back to Lorac Wet/Dry compact.

This is okay..the coverage is medium and like a heavy coverage. I will use this as my backup powder and keep using prestige powder foundation which I like more.

Unfortunately this turns orange on me. It also seems to cake when my skin gets oily. I won't purchase again.

This powder foundation is pretty comparible to most high end brands. Before trying this I wore Stila's asia exclusive smooth skin moisture powder foundation, and also termed Smashbox wet/dry powder foundation HG. On to Perfectly Real: The coverage is medium, it minimizes pores, and blends very well. I use shade 104 (for comparison I wear MAC NC20, and Stila 20/30 watts.). I have just one gripe about this foundation, which is why I only gave it 3 lippies. It turns orangey on me after a few hours and reapplication. To minimize this, I blot excess oil off my face with blotting papers, then reapply. Also for referance my skin is dry/sensitive, and I wear a heavy face moisturizer.

Love, love, love this product!! I have combo skin and this requires almost no touch ups until the very end of teh day! The coverage is sheer but buildable. I found that using a velour puff and really buffing it in gave me the most natural look. Give it a minute or two then reapply over problem areas! My skin really looked fanatasic. I will now use this over Studio Fix; which ad been my favorite despite looking a little cakey at times. My only minor complaint would be how little you get as compared to Studio Fix for the same amount of money!

I just got this powder foundation a couple of days ago, and this is the second day I've worn it.I got this in shadw 102 (I am incredible pale) and like most Clinique foundations/powders, the lightest shade seems a bit orange on my skin. But in general it has just a hint of orange and isn't too bad. This powder blends very well and doesn't cake-usually I use a liquid foundation so this is different for me. Seems to last all day and doesn't require a touch-up. The first day I tried this with the sponge and it seemed a bit too heavy, but today I tried a powder brush which made it look much more natural. I think a foundation brush is probably the best tool for applying this. I'd probably repurchase, but I wish Clinique would improve their lighter colours and come out with some paler ones.

This is the best compact powdery foundation I have used. The main reason why I like this so much is that it looks natural whether in natural sun-light, bathroon lighting or office-lighting. I find that for a lot of foundations, it may look excellent in day-light, but awful in office-lighting...or vice versa. This one is not like that. Also, this does not turn dull, does not look cakey.....very natural looking. I have combo skin (oily T-zone, dry cheeks), and need to moisturize a bit before using this. Highly rec !

This product only has one strike against it: the price seems a bit high for a Clinique powder...I think I paid $22.50. Otherwise, nothing but good things to say. The powder really is like my skin (perfectly real) but only better-- after 8 or so hours, no shine; the powder is still there but doesn't sit like chalk or dust on even the finest facial hairs. I'm amazed by how fantastic my skin looks. Buyers beware though: The colors in the compact are completely different than the way they will look on your skin; typically, at a glance, I can narrow down my ideal shade just by looking at the stuff-- the Clinique MA probably went through 5 or 6 colors on me before we found my color (which, by the way, was almost a pasty looking color in the compact #114 but is soooooo perfect anyway). I'm really happy, so I'll definitely repurchase.

The first day I tried this I hated it. I used the sponge that comes with to apply and every pore I have became way more visable. I almost took it straight back to the store. I thought I'd give it one more chance tho and am so glad I did. This time I used with a foundation brush and WOW! The color is great, the coverage can be quite sheer yet buildable and my skin is not nearly as oily at the end of the day like with Studio Fix. I've been using now for several days and still really like it. Also, I have to reiterate what "cwendt" says. This is actually turning my skin (breakouts) around from using the Studio Fix.
I was really impressed with this, I've not liked Clinique's fdtns in the past.

I usually wear Clinique Almost Makeup under clinique translucent #8 neutral loose powder with a cotton buff to set without lines and now dab mac blot powder with a brush a couple of times per day to avoid oil build up . I tried this powder foundation out of curiosity. I immediately saw accentuation of large pores which doesn't happen with loose powder and mac blot compact touch ups. I also noticed that the powder foundation has good coverage and great color options for me but did not give the airbrushed finish that covers fine lines as easily with a good loose powder that doesn't settle into lines. Loose powder does not set well over powder foundation. so I am back to my forementioned regular routine.

I got this based on the good reviews and have been trying it for several days. I have oily T-zone/normal skin with occasional zits. I got fitted for the shade 120 (N) and I usually wear a MAC NC30-35. It applied it this morning over Red Earth mattifying primer and after I applied concealor (MAC moisturecover). It wore well for 9 straight hours. I was hardly oily (compared to SOME foundations!). 'd say I looked "dewy". I blotted lightly after the 9th hour and reapplied some on my nose. I took a good look in the natural light and this shade really works. Doesn't turn colors on me, doesn't make me oily. My nose has a bit of dry skin from using salicylic acid products and this emphasized it more. I plan using this on days when I don't have a lot of time to apply makeup in the morning.

I like this so much better than my Laura Mercier Powder Foundation. I think that says alot. The wearability and shade matching of this formula just blows LM out of the water, not to mention that it comes with almost 50% more product! I am an NC30 (moderate acne scarring and breakout prone) and and I use shade 108G. It lasts and works well with my MAC blot powder as a touch up when needed. Great product that has renewed my interest in Clinique (which I used to steer clear of)!

I've been using this for a couple of days now, so really I should be waiting a few more days before I write this rave review, but I can't wait. It's that good. I have combination/oily skin that's acne-prone. This foundation is perfect. The texture is so silky, and it does cover well. I apply it with a sponge in the mornings, and then I use a powder brush to touch up if/when I need to. (With this foundation, I only need to touch up once a day, which is unbelievable). I'm an NC25-NC30, and I use shade 108(G). The only thing I'd say is that this is definitely not the best foundation for people with dry, flaky skin. But if you have problems with excess oil, I would definitely recommend this.

I have been using this for 5 days now and I Love it. I usually have oily-combo skin with acne scarring. This covers wonderfully and has stayed oil free all day. I am replacing my Studio Fix with this. Also, it doesn't accentuate pores like the Studio Fix did and my face has actually cleared up since stopping the Studio Fix and starting on this product. Oh, one more thing, usually I have a problem with Clinique makeup looking orange on me but I was able to get a really good color match with this one.

I hate to break up the raves but currently I'm underwhelmed. The coverage, in my opinion, is quite light. It does look natural, but in my opinion, for a product with this little coverage to look unnatural would be absurd. I would definitely not call it "moderate." I think that the MA picked the wrong color for me, as well. I'm cool toned, NW20, and got 106, which is a neutral color. It looks light in the pan but goes on orangeish. I'm going to try this with primer underneath, and then tinted moisturizer, and see how the color of my skin changes when I'm at the beach/pool more often this month, before I return it, though. I'll update later on whether I found a way to make it wearable. I really want this to work because I have difficulties with liquid foundations, they always make me flake or melt off when it's hot -- this was a last resort before studio fix, because I've heard so many horror stories about it.

I just found another foundation I like (a liquid that covers and doesn't make me flake!) so I'm not going to go spending money trying to make this stuff work. Back to Bloomies it goes -- at least I got a GWP out of it.

I bought this foundation in shade 104 and it matches perfctly. I have used this product alone and over my Superfit liquid foundation. If I want a more polished and flawless look I use over liquid foundation. If I want a natural but evened out look I use alone. Either way it looks great. I can't wait to see how this works in Summer. Great product, wish the compact wasn't green but it's not that bad. Definitely a re-purchase for me. Not sure where everyone is getting a SPF version of this. Mine didn't have an spf and neither did the others at the department stores.

I haven't bought this yet, but did get colour matched at the Clinique counter. I had been waiting for this to arrive - and wasn't disappointed. I was matched as a 102 or 106 - both neutral shades. Probably 102 will be better for winter, in the summer if I tan, then 106. It's very finely milled and provides good coverage for me-I am just looking for something to even out my complexion. This will certainly be my next foundation purchase. One thing though - previous reviewers keep talking about how this has SPF 15 - it doesn't. Check out the info from the Clinique U.S. website-it doesn't mention any SPF at all for this product.
