I've been using this twice a day along w/ Avon Retroactive cream and Avon retinol at night for two weeks now and my skin has never looked better. I usually have at least a few blemishes and flaky skin, but these past two weeks my blemishes have cleared up and my skin is smooth and rosy. I'm hoping this isn't some fluke! I don't even have the usual flare-ups I get right around my period. Amazing - I hope this continues to work. Update - my clear skin only lasted two weeks and then I went back to my flakly, blemishy self - bummer. I'm still using this but have discontinued the Retroactive and Retinol stuff.

This product has greatly improved the look of my skin. My complexion looks brighter and my pores are almost non-existant. It has helped clear up the blackheads on my chin and nose although they are not completely gone but I just ordered the 2% lotion which should do the trick. I definitely recommend trying this out. :O)

Something is wrong with me! I love Paula's Choice skincare products and use many of them, but I just don't have any luck with this particular product. I've tried and tried, but one light application leaves my face feeling like bumpy "lizard skin" for a few days. If I use it any more (before that clears up), my skin starts coming off in patches! I use moisturizer, even the Skin Recovery one (which I really like) and the Skin Recovery Cleanser -- to no avail. However, this really helps my husband's skin, so he uses it more than I do, and I repurchase it for him.

Wonderful product! My skin absolutely glows with this, and not in the painful, red, throbbing way it used to! My pores are less noticeable, acne scares are fading, and my skin looks so much more healthy. I never really had bad acne, just the occasionally little whitehead here and there, so small that I'm sure not even my husband noticed them. Well, these are gone! I did get one jawline zit with my period, but it cleared up really quickly - 4 days to gone without a trace. Even if you don't think you need a BHA, give this a try. The new skin you uncover will be worth it! Thanks to MUA for turning me on to this product.

A decent product, and I did see a little improvement. But I decided that my skin needed something slightly stronger, so I moved up to the 2% solution (see review there -- I prefer the 2% solution to the lotion).

Major Rave! I can't believe I keep forgetting to review this product--it is an absolute godsend. I found out about PC 1% BHA thanks to MUA, and it has absolutely rescued my skin! I've been using it religiously for five months, smoothing over my face after cleansing in the morning and at night. It sinks into my skin immediately & goes to work. Every other night, I also use PC Remarkable Skin Lightening Lotion, which really works! I am not kidding when I say this product (1% BHA) belongs in the Hall of Fame of beauty products. I actually have normal to dry skin, but pre-PC, I was having horrible adult acne breakouts with cystic-type blemishes that nothing would cure. The salicylic acid and sulfer products I used before PC only dried out my skin and caused it to flake. I was seriously planning to visit a dermatologist as soon as I got health insurance, but now that's not necessary, because my skin has stayed completely clear. I can even wear a much sheerer foundation now and am not embarrassed about being seen without makeup, like I was before. Paula's little $14 (USD) bottle of miracle potion is something that I will never be without. I've recommended this product (and line) to so many people. I like this but it doesn't seem strong enough for my acne-prone skin...and I have slightly sensitive skin!! Anyway, if I was having an emergency I would use this...unless I have the 2%!!

I love this! This is another product I discovered thanks to other MUAers. I ordered this a few months ago for the first time, and it has made a wonderful difference in my skin. When I initially started using it, I broke out a little in a few places (nose and chin)... But that quickly cleared up, and my skin has been better than ever before ever since. It also helps with hormonal breakouts. I use this daily, usually twice a day.

Loved this stuff! My skin has improved 100% since I started using this product four months ago. A little goes a long way, I'm still using the bottle I bought four months ago. I still occassionally get a small pimple but it is gone after one day.

This is my holiest of holy grails! This product, more than any other, has really made a difference in the way my skin looks. Since I started using this about 2 weeks ago, my blackheads on my nose have been reduced, and my pores look much cleaner and more refined. I've also experienced fewer breakouts. This product is a nice lotion formula that's quick and easy to apply, and it doesn't seem to dry out my skin like other BHA's have in the past. I highly recommend this product. I won't be without it! EDIT: 2 years later, I'm still using this, and can't live without it!

Was extremely dissapointed. Made me break out in a terrible rash. I used to appreciate her reviews on cosmetic lines but ever since she came out with a line of her own she isn't someone I can trust to be unbiased.

I really disappointed with this product. It didn't work for me. Did nothing. Maybe I had overestimated with this product, because I heard so many raves. I prefer Clinique Total Turnaround Lotion, that can exfoliate my skin better.

This is one of my beauty secrets and I can tell I'm not alone... This product totally cleans out my pores and fades acne scars while being super gentle on my dry and sensitive skin. It's a very light lotion that completely absorbs into your skin and can be layered with other products. I've literally gone through dozens of botles of this stuff and would absolutely die if it were to end. Definitely one of the * BEST * skincare products out there.

I really like this! No frills, very effective. I have very dry skin and am not prone to blemishes, but I have persistent blackheads on my nose. This really helped reduce the number of them, and the ones that are left are so easy to get rid of! The only bad thing was that I started to get very flake-y skin, but applying moisturizer over the BHA helped. I will buy this over and over! update: it stopped working for me. Sigh. But it seems like it does do something, and i will try again later, after giving my skin a break.

This is the best product that I have found from MUA tips!!! I don't know what I did before I used this! It is keeping my combo skin soft, refined, and free of clogged pores. I have not had any breakouts since I started using it about a month ago. I use it at night in my t-zone every day, on my cheeks every other day, and on my chin everyday in the mornings. I am such a fan of this whole skincare line and what it is doing for my skin! Would highly recommend!

I really love this product! :) I emailed the cs for some PC samples, and 3 days later I received tons.
I've been using the BHA for 2 days and it's so obvious that my pores have become much smaller. The BHA has also my skin baby soft. I'm going to buy one!! :) I'm very glad I tried!!

This is a great product ...for someone else! :) I personally loved the 2% BHA! So please read my reviews there. The 1% is a cream based exfoliator that is supposed to help with blackheads. I'm a normal/oily combination skin that is prone to blackheads. I had a sample of this and I used it for a week. I saw no results and unfortunately, I think the cream was a bit heavy for my skin so it felt oily afterwards. I know this is a great product because my bestfriend LOVES this stuff... she has a dry/comb skin so the cream based would suit her much better. I would recommend this for people with the same skin type.
