I have to say that I am a big perfume lover. I have a lot of perfumes and I don't leave home without wearing some. I have NEVER received as many complements as I have with this perfume!!! NEVER! I am constantly asked what I am wearing and were can they get it. I have had a few men ask me so they can purchase for their wives. I bought a 3.4 ounce bottle at Marshall's for $19.99. Looks of surprise and amazement is what i get when I tell people what it is and how much I paid for it. I'm actually kind of mad at myself for revealing my secret. Many of my coworkers have now purchased this perfume......Oh well.

I have to say that it is so difficult rating something that is so personal and subjective. Every perfume will not smell the same on every body. We must remember this in our reviews. I agree with just about everyone's take on this perfume, but it smell beautiful on ME! LOL! I love it. The bottle does look cheap (to me), but the scent is similar to L de Lempika, which I adore. The price is right too. I wore it last night for dinner and drinks and I could smell it all night as well as receiving compliments on it.
I will buy this again. I bought mine from FragranceX for a great price.

I'm a huge fan and total lover of yummy foody and super sweet candylike scents, and Jessica's previous line Dessert Treats was my perfume dream come true... too bad the products on the line smelled like heaven but had absolutely no staying power and felt more like scented water than like perfume!!!=(
Anyway the line was discontinued (sadly=() along with her regular Dessert line and then she came up with Fancy, her first "real" fragrance (with staying power and which actually has the quality of real perfume and not scented water). Since Jessica's products aren't sold in my country or anywhere here in Europe I think, I read the reviews on here about Fancy which said it was so yummy and cupcake-like, and knowing Jessica Simpson's previous scents I know she has a great taste in perfume and loves yummy scents just like me and I thought I wouldn't be disappointed, so I purchased Fancy online unsiffed!!!
Too bad though, because I'm disappointed=( The scent is not at all candy-like or cupcake-like. There's a lot of vanilla in Fancy, gourmand yummy vanilla, which I absolutely adore and I think it's one of the best notes in a scent ever, but sadly the perfume and yummy vanilla are ruined by lots & lots of amber (as much as vanilla) & floral notes... and that makes the perfume a floral-vanilla fragrance, far from candy-like or cupcake-like, which it'd be if it didn't have the amber and floral notes which ruin it for me and make what could have been a total foody yummy dream a floral vanilla not yummy/foody fragrance which is nothing special.
Also I quite dislike the amber in this fragrance because it makes Fancy smell soo much like Jean Paul Gaultier Classique, which I also have. And JPG Classique is definitely not a sweet yummy foody fragrance at all, and everytime I wear Fancy I can't help but think it smells almost like JPG Classique. Fancy smells just like Jean Paul Gaultier Classique with lots of sweet vanilla added to it.
I wish Jessica would launch bubblegum/cotton candy/cupcake scents like the ones on her Dessert Treats line as real perfumes with staying power, that'd be a dream come true for me!! But Fancy's just too boring with all those florals=(
And regarding the packaging, I think the packaging and especially the bottle of Fancy are hideous... the bottle is so heavy and ugly cheap looking, feels like if it were made of the heavy glass of which bottles of drinks are made instead of the glass of perfume bottles... and the design is just so ugly, hideous and cheap looking!!! The metal-imitation plastic cap doesn't help either, it's sooo ugly and cheap looking!! And the name "Fancy" for a fragrance, so cheesy & cheap lol... totally matches the cheesy cheap bottle... whoever came up with the name and designed the bottle should be fired... like can't you get any cheaper and cheesier??

While it has some pleasant undertones, I can't get past the overly sweet/ candy like smell i get upon first whiff. I normally don't mind sweet smells but this just doesn't do it for me. I like hte new fancy love fragrance by her better

when I first sprayed this i noticed it smells EXACTLY like Betsey Johnson perfume, but the BJ perfume was wayy too strong and gave me a headache. But I love the way fancy smells!soo much better!and I love that after 10 mins or so it gives off the most delicious scent!!(which BJ did not do)I love the smell of the vanilla lingering! In my opinion this wayyy better than BJ,cause BJ grossed me out within a few days, where as this makes me want to keep applying!!

I absolutely adore this perfume. It's simply wonderful. I bought this the other day at Target in a gift set for $30, which is such a great bargain for the actual size perfume, along with body lotion and a shower gel. The perfume itself is beautiful, The scent is lovely and has a seductive and sexy feel without being overly sexy. It's a classy; elegant fragrance and the vanilla is soo yummy. This scent is wonderful for me and goes great with my body chemistry. A must have in my opinion, A very understated beautiful every day perfume.

This perfume is, simply put...amazing. I tried it first in the form of a $3.00 knockoff that smelled very sweet and like vanilla, so I thought I would take a risk and purchase the real 3 oz. one without smelling it at the counter. Well, lucky me - the real one smells amazing! It's a strong vanilla scent balanced with something that seems a slight bit fruity and floral - it does not smell like a cheap, artificial vanilla but the real thing.
Amazing scent, will definitely repurchase. Found the 3 oz. online for about $24. And word of advice ladies - cheap fakes may smell similar to the original and give you a great idea of what the real one will smell like - but they are not nearly as good as the real stuff!

Yum! Within the first few minutes of spraying this perfume, I smelled a lot of peach, but then it dried down to a soft, delicious vanilla within 15 minutes or so. The vanilla smell is divine, smells just like vanilla ice cream, and the lasting power is very good. I also really love the bottle- It is super cute and feminine!
EDIT- men REALLY love this fragrance. I have had 2 separate men tell me that I smell great.

If you love the smell of cupcakes, frosting, soft petals, and vanilla..this is superb,......but it is NOT just a "sweet perfume"..it is also a very perfumy perfume--so its not a "cheapie" smell..but very very sexy and sooooooo pretty!!
Buy some and wear it for you spouse--and ESPECIALLY if you are single. ;)

I recently found a 1oz bottle of this at Walmart for only $20. I grabbed it and couldn't wait to get home and try it, as I had seen it in department stores for much more. I agree it is similar to Pink Sugar, but it doesn't smell like Pink Sugar (don't buy this expecting some kind of dupe for Pink Sugar)... What I mean is, I'd say it's in the same vein as PS, with the warm, sugary gourmand essence. I do like Pink Sugar, but I get a weird burnt sugar note on my skin when I wear it, although it smells awesome on my mom. Anyway. Fancy is gorgeous and actuallys works for me. It picks up where PS left off. I mostly get a warm caramel, vanilla pastry type aroma from it, with a hint of something perhaps floral. The lasting power is great, lasts for several hours, sometimes until the next day. I love the way it smells after it's been on my skin for a few hours, just a soft sweetness. This scent may not be for everyone, but I think it is beauitful and comforting, especially on cooler days.
