I love this scent. It's on the sweeter side but not that generic vanilla/cupcake-y scent either...like others have said, it does have woodsy notes to it making it less pre-teen and more sophisticated. And call me crazy but I do smell a faint (very faint) trace of lychee or something in the fruity area? I enjoy the scent more and more as I wear it throughout the day, in fact I wish it was a little stronger or didn't fade as much as it seems to. I would def feel comfortable spraying this twice on myself without feeling like it's overpowering, though that is an individual thing. I also agree that it leaves a caramel-like scent on the skin...so glad it's part of my collection!

I agree with the person below me that says this seems like a very mature scent (even though it is ironically marketed as youthful). It is kind of heavy for my tastes. Definitely a winter scent. I think it smells the best towards the end of the day after it has been on for many hours and faded quite a bit. Interestingly, I don't smell much vanilla in it. It smells like a mixture of baby powder and marshmallows with a hint of caramel and musk. As others have said, it reminds me of Hanae Mori Butterfly (although I like Butterfly better). I do see why some people would like this scent, even though it's not something I would wear. But make sure that you spray it on at the counter and wear it around for at least a day so you can experience the dry down. The scent definitely changes as it settles.

I find this scent a lot more grown up than Pink Sugar, actually...a lot of musk and woodsy-ness...
I bought this scent last winter and fell in love...so much in love that I purchased the roll-on...
Around April/May I found myself repulsed with it...I threw the roll-on in some basket under my bathroom counter and the perfume was stashed in the back of my medicine closet...
This November I decided to make a small perfume 'section' on my dresser on a silver tray (motivated by a makeover show I saw) and remembered how 'cute' the bottle for Fancy was...pulled it out and sprayed it just for kicks and giggles...
And found myself exactly where I was last year, loving it! Maybe it's a winter thing? All I know is I now gotta find that damn rollerball!
I do find that it can be headache inducing, but the drydown is nice...as for smelling young, I almost feel like sometimes it smells to 'old' for me...and I'm 34!!! I think it's the amber? I also smell something 'burnt'...it is like a more sophisticated version of Pink Sugar...
As for the bottle...I don't know why people complain about it being heavy glass...if it was light and thin, it would shatter easily and then go completely to waste...I'm glad the glass is heavy as I've dropped it a few times and it didn't break!
PROS: NOT kiddish, NOT young, NOT cheap smelling and I don't smell cupcakes or anything like that...
CONS: I actually wish it was a little sweeter and not so woodsy/musky, believe it or not!
I think this is a cozy, winter scent, as I hated it in the summer but find myself drawn to it in the winter...
the end. :)

I know perfume is an objective thing, everyone likes different smells, but for me, this is perfect. I always loved the sweet vanilla-y smelling perfumes, and always wore pure vanilla from the body shop in high school. Now that i'm in my 30's, I find this nice and sweet but I little sexier. My husband loves it too!

I love this perfume!
Such a gorgeous girlie scent.
It was the bottle that first caught my eye. Its very pretty and looks rather luxurious! When I smell it i think of yummy deserts, feminity and feeling pretty! I get compliments whenever I wear it.

This is a very creamy fragrance. I don't think it's overly sweet, as I was expecting it would be. It's a carefree, romantic, girly, frilly sort of scent with just a hint of cupcakes.

Fancy has a cute bottle and a warm sweet smell. I don't wear it every day and one of the main reasons is that I prefer a more powdery floral type scent. A candle scented with this would be great. It goes on light so perhaps if I layered it with other products in this line I could really smell its full potential thus the 3 rating.

A Parlux Fragrance, this is absolutely beautiful and one of my "perm" fragrances, I reach for this much more often than most others. If you like warm scents and are a fan of base note heavy perfumes then this one is for you. The vanilla in this is utterly delightful and the amber in the base keeps it warm and seductive - its a well balanced fragrance in the base. I do find the top and middle notes a little muddled, the pear and magnolia are apparent, but the rest are not well distinguished, though other reviewers note the caramel as a feature I *loathe* caramel and I cant find it in this at all. I find the longevity of this perfume really very good, but then this fragrance clearly suits my body chemistry, and I get a good 6-8 hours wear from this and plenty of compliments to boot. Not one of the most sophisticated fragrances available, but it IS one of my absolute faves, 5 lippies for beautiful warm scent that I cant be without!

I tested this twice because I was hopeful it would calm down into a nice scent, but it stayed nasty- like cough syrup- the whole day. Just doesn't work on me at all.

Got a sample of Fancy in a magazine and fell in love with the smell!
I asked my mum to get it for me for Christmas. Thankfully, she did and I just adore it!
I normally don't like perfume (I tend to get headaches), but this is so girly and light and natural. It smells very familiar and comforting to me. Very sweet. It's overpowering at first, but in no time it evens out. It lasts a long time as well. I can put it on in the early morning before school and it lasts throughout the day/night until the next morning.
I'll definitely be getting another bottle when mine runs out!
