I used Nice'n Easy Perfect 10 in Jet Black. It was quite a random purchase for me, I was planning to buy my favorite Exellence but fell for the big pretty box of this dye...and I'm very pleased with the results. Its been more than a week since I dyed my hair and the color still looks very fresh (even though I washed my hair almost every day and with Excellence it would already turn dark brown on me). I didn't use the applicator just because I don't like any applicators in general, its way better imho to color hair with the brush which you can get in any beauty supply, and one bottle was just enough for my shoulder length hair. The smell of the dye didn't irritate me at all, compared to the ones I used before it was actually pretty good. The only thing I disliked is that my hair did feel very dry right after I washed off the product, but that problem was solved by the conditioner. And let me tell you, the conditioner is amazing in all the ways possible and the smell is terrific!!! Will definitely buy again.

This is a very pricey version of Nice n' Easy. I have to admit I fell for the color shown on the box and the comb applicator which is USELESS. The price does not justify the result.
I used #7 Butterscotch Boom. The color literally changed in a matter of hours from Dark Blonde as advertised to a brassy almost orange light brown. It has no - repeat NO grey coverage (mine is less than 10% - minimal. Also, the product hasn't enough pigment to grab onto hair that's been previously colored so keep that in mind. I called the toll-free number on the box and that was the information given.
The smell didn't offend as much as the horrible straw feeling in my hair as I washed out the product and also the first 3 or so shampoos.
On the plus side, the conditioner HELPS A LOT, and give it a week or two and most of the color will wash out, but if your hair pulls red, you will still be left with the brassies. Not enough peroxide in there.

This was a really painless way to touch up my roots. I have been colouring my hair for almost 10 years, and I was pleasantly surprised by this product. My hair doesn't feel all dried out, and my scalp isn't stained. It was so fast, and the results are just like what I get from products that take 25-40 minutes.
The product is a bit overpriced and the packaging is excessive, but this is still a great product. I will definitely stock up when this comes on sale.

Oh I love this stuff. It is fast (!), does not smell bad at all, and leaves my hair very soft and shiny. And the range of shades for Brunettes is awesome. I highly recommend. Just wish it was a bit cheaper!

I just dyed my hair tonight, and I must say that I really love it.
I forgot the exact number I used, but it was light brown. I have fairly dark brown hair, almost black, but after using the product, my hair looked very natural.
The comb thingy makes everything so much easier and less time consuming. I got a pretty even distribution everywhere.
The one bad things was I kind of ran out as I got down to the ends, i have medium length hair, but a lot of it, so next time I'll probably buy two.
Overall, I totally love the product and I think I'll be using this from now on!

I love this product! My mom is a hair colorist and she actually told me that my colors look good!
I use Dark Auburn 4R and I'm a natural 3 or 4 depending on how much running I'm doing.
The best thing is that you don't have to have the color sitting on your head for 40 minutes. I get color all over everything.
Before I went to Las Vegas I did a very fire-engine red...we had to repaint some of the walls...

I have short hair. Light Brown. I bought this to go down a few shades and get the dullness out of my hair. Did the trick! It's relatively cheap, only takes 10 minutes, and gives you the shade promised. That's all I look for in a haircolor. Will buy again.
UPDATE: This color looked alright to begin with, but it faded after a few weeks and it faded into a lighter color than I had to begin with! SO ANNOYING! :(

I have been using this product inbetween salon colouring since it came out. I have been able to save extra by going to save.ca and getting a 3.00 off coupon and searching at the drug store for when it is on sale. This is not why I buy this product...I love a good deal but don't ever want to sacrifice quality. I am just happy that it works so well. Never have I received such compliments on my haircolour. I have naturally auburn hair that has been turning darker ( and greyer ) over the past 5 or so years. The auburn works perfectly and I am even able to do my dark eyebrows to match.
Fabulous product and will definately continue to use!

I have been coloring my hair for about 45 years.. NEVER use this product if you have predominately grey hair.
I didn't have the burning or itching.. I had the color actually flaking from my hair shafts and coming off on the towel 1 and 2 weeks later.
Maybe I'll try the Garnier.. usually use Clairol Preference.

well, finally switched from LOreal Feria to a salon, hair getting too dry, then roots and no time so I tried this. Colour is exactly as on the box. Shine, yes, softness at the top, yes, too soft, too shiny, too weird, couldn't do anything with it. Also, so drying when trying to rinse, gross. Not enough product to do the whole head. Colour flat and not vibrant (shiny yes, vibrant, no). terrible smell, and it really burnt! At did colour all the grey, that is true, but I am unimpressed. Nope, wouldn't use it again I don't think unless they came up with more colours because this colour is boring (yawn!) EDIT: I just tried the new red they came out with. Did an all over colour. My hair came out even with one box (I have long but fine hair) and the colour was the same as on the box. BUT, it was super dry, and the red washed out in three shampoos even though I used Aveda Colour Conserve. I am left with very dark strawberry blonde hair. NOTHING beats my Feria, back I go yet again!

I just dyed my hair the light auburn (popular color huh!) and I am simply amazed. The product actually does what it says it will! I have very dark roots (almost black) and I usually lighten them first THEN dye my hair. I decided to take the plunge, and just used this, and oh wow, all my hair is the same color! It's gorgeous, exactly the color on the box! The dye is definitely drying but the conditioner is great. Some of my highlights show through, which is perfect.
I just hope it won't fade too fast!

I like Perfect 10. I went from salon light blonde with extra-light highlights to a Perfect 10 medium blonde (ready-made cupcake 8)
It gave me a gorgeous medium blonde, not too ashy not too red, multi-dimensional (but that's because I have highlights already) and very even and shiny. I have short hair, and left it for 12 minutes just to be sure.
Overall, a safe product, true to the box.
It smells REALLY bad though.

I read the reviews here before I purchased the product so I though I was prepared. Purchased the product on sale with a coupon, the price was reasonable.
Note: I have short hair that is about 50% gray when not colored. I have been coloring my own hair for years.
I followed the directions for the 5 min. root and 5 min. all over application. Took me less than 7 min. to apply to the roots.
Result: My scalp burned. The product got lumpy before I could finish my roots. The odor was at a bearable level.
Final result was that my head burned, my hair was very dry. The color was as shown on the box, the coverages was ok, the conditioner was good. Better be after making my hair feel like straw.
Its been 2 weeks, the color is still brown with not much fading. I would not purchase or use this product again.

This stuff is awesome! Does it burn while aplied.....yeah a little..does it smell bad...yeah a little! Did I get a beautiful color even though my roots are black..Yes I did! I used the new medium redish blonde 8RB and my hair is awesome. I had previously dyed blondish hair with black roots and this made it beautifull and soft! It is red but in great feeling condition and a realistic color..took care of the black roots too!! Love it!!

I have used this dye about 5 or 6 times and it has always worked seamlessly. The color always comes out as it says it will on the back of the boxes and lasts for at least a couple of months. Also, it doesn't dry out my hair in the least and I blow dry my hair everyday so I need all the moisture I can get. Also the colors that say they minimize red actually eliminate it which is more than I can say for any other hair dye.

Hmmm... I didn't have the best experience with this product, although I applaud the effort in the innovative packaging. Yes, it was quick and easier to apply than traditional at-home color kits. However, there was not enough product. I have medium length, thick hair, but I have never had a problem with running out of dye. With Perfect 10, I had to squeeze some excess off the top of my head and apply it elsewhere to have enough. I still missed some spots at the roots in the back. Also-- and I do attribute this partially to my own error-- but I got a dark brown color, and for the first two days after dyeing it, my hair looked black! Luckily for me (and unluckily for others), the staying power of this product is not great, so the color has lighted in only two weeks.

If you want a color different from the name and picture on the box, a head that itches for days and a big gooey mess in the bathroom, THIS is the haircolor for you. I'm so sorry Garnier Nutrisse - I'm coming back to you. Please forgive me for the betrayal. It may be quicker, but ladies, it isn't worth it.Perfect 10 is a Perfect Zero.

I loved the actual color results from the perfect 10 in light auburn. It actually came out light auburn, not dark like most auburns I have used. I did notice its a tad drying but so are most of the hair colors I usually use.

I've used this twice now. Medium golden blond and light ash blond.
I don't have gray hair. My hair is sholder-length and very thick but one bottle was enough for me to cover everything and have a couple teaspoons leftover. I haven't noticed any damage whatsoever. With the awesome conditioner it comes with, my hair is in better condition than when I started using this. It smells about as much as any other dye does (but it works way faster so you can rinse it out sooner!). I haven't had any dripping or staining problems. My only complaint is that it always seems to burn my scalp a little. Not too much but it slightly worries me.
Medium golden blond turned out just about the same as the color on the box. Kind of a reddish-blond which complemented my skin tone very nicely and looked natural. After a couple of weeks it looked a little more brassy than golden but I sort of expect that.
Light ash blond is a great color! I guess it was true to the color on the box but I expected it to be a little lighter. I think that was all in my head though. The color really is a good ashy blond which is rare in at home dyes. It, too, has turned a little bit brassy but it still looks good after a month. One thing that will help your blond dye look better is applying it an inch away from your scalp first, then on the length of the hair, THEN the roots. It looks more natural that way and roots growing in aren't so obvious.

Well, my thoughts about the previous complaints are....
The smell was not as bad as most of the other perm. hair color brands. It smelled a little bit like bananas, it didn't dye my skin at all, and the color is true to the box.
I really like the way it made my hair feel/look. And I adore the conditioner that came with it!!!
