I've been using this foundation for several months now, and I seem to like it less and less the more I use it. I purchased it during the winter, and it worked a lot better in the colder weather. It's really hard to get good coverage from it -- I have normal skin with a few blemishes, and it doesn't cover them well at all. To build coverage at all, I have to apply it, wait for it to dry (which takes a little while), apply more, wait for it to dry again, and so on. I always use a finishing powder to set the foundation afterwards, but it still doesn't last me the whole day.
Pros:
+The pump dispenser is really great, it's the main reason why I decided to try it in the first place.
+ It's really light and never looks cakey -- when my skin is clearer and is more even toned in the winter, it works a lot better.
+ There seems to be quite a bit of product in the dispenser, I quite a bit each day, and I still have product left a few months later.
Cons:
+ Horrible foundation for the summer. The coverage is light to begin with, and when it's hot out it slides/dissolves off right away.
+ It takes several coats to build up adequate coverage, and it takes a while for each coat to dry.
This works well for a lot of people, and I actually liked it a lot better in the colder months when my skin isn't so moist from the humidity. However, it doesn't provide enough coverage or last very long for me in the hot, humid summer months.

This foundation just did not work for me. I have used and like other Almay foundations, but not this one. It felt really tacky and goopy on my skin. I know it gives a fuller coverage, but it makes it that much harder to try to find a match to your skin tone. I tried applying with a sponge and with a foundation brush, but neither looked right. It was also more difficult to remove, like it left a film that wouldn't break it's bond to my skin. I may have to experiment more with this, and will update if anything changes. But for now, I much prefer the Almay's Line Smoothing liquid foundation.

Wow, mixed reviews that I'm so, so glad I didn't read before buying. Ladies, I have finally found my HG full-coverage foundation (I have other favorites for lighter-coverage days). This is truly amazing makeup. Today was the first day I've worn it, and I wore it to death...I thought! I had my son's 2nd birthday party, so there were tons of people everywhere, and food, cake, presents, etc. I didn't sit down for hours, and it was one of those humid pacific northwest days where you feel sticky and gross. I really didn't glance in the mirror, and tonight when I finally went to wash my face...HOLY CRAP. My makeup looked exactly the same as this morning. Seriously, I didn't blot all day long, add powder, etc, and it looked fresh, non-shiny, perfect coverage. I just love this so much! I don't even need concealer, since this covers what I need to have covered (yet doesn't feel heavy at all). It's also a pump bottle, which is fabulous, though glass always makes me nervous over hard bathroom floors.

PROS:
-buff is great for neutralizing red marks (looks really yellow in the bottle, but it's not too yellow, even on non-red pale skin), and I use it as a concealer
-made in USA
-dries matte but doesn't feel taut
-doesn't leave a shimmer like others with minerals
-pump is sanitary
-bottle is a bit bigger than my other foundations
-contains vitamins and antioxidants
-hypoallergenic
-won't clog pores (so it says...and it hasn't with me yet)
-mineral-oil-free (says oil-free, but some oils are good for our skin)
-uses a physical sunscreen (titanium dioxide and zinc oxide)
CONS:
-wish the bottle were opaque to protect it from the light (which can oxize color over time)
-low spf
-not a great color selection
-a little difficult to wash off
-full pump dispenses too much for my use
-coverage is light to medium (but it's buildable)
UPDATE: still use this occassionally, but I learned that it comes off easier with oil or MU remover. It also seems to dry me out just a bit if I wear it for multiple days.

I have been in foundation hell lately going from one to another, trying to find a foundation I like because the foundation I have been using for the last 10 years or more is not right for me now I get older.I want coverage without looking too made up and I want it to last. I have been a Estee lauder double wear fan for years now and had never tried any other long wearing foundations until now. I picked this up as an impulse buy and I am glad I did. It has a much better range of shades for my fair complexion than the double wear and it holds up just as well , if not better. It doesn;t settle as badly into fine lines as double wear does and it isn't as mask like and infact looks very natural and flawless which often don't go together. The only reason I haven't given it 5 lippies is that is rather matt for my taste but frankly I think that is the price you pay for a long wearing foundation and I can use a bit of highlighter to minimise that. I also have not given it the 5 lippies because I will reserve that for HG status and I haven't been wearing it long enough to make the decison. I will update if necessary. A great foundation for a great price. Packaging is great and a pump is always a winner.

This is an...all right makeup. Very light and won't cover up any blemishes, scars, etc. which is frustrating. However, I've found that it makes a pretty good base for certain other foundations, namely the Lancome Tient Idole Ultra. Normally I really don't like the Lancome foundation because it doesn't last long on my face, doesn't cover well, makes me break out.... In other words, I try to avoid it whenever I can. But when I ran out of my HG foundation and all I had left was Tient Idole and TLC, I decided to mix the two to see how it would work out. And while it's a lot more work than putting on a single foundation, it makes an actually great combination. Smooth, long-lasting, the formula of the TLC is keeping my skin clean. It's just a good mix! :)

I'm pretty sure this is the best foundation I have ever used. Most foundations tend to look orange on me, but Almay TLC shade 03 Naked is a PERFECT match to my skintone. I have light skin- not ghostly white but still short of medium tone. The coverage is light- definitely not for anyone with lots of blemishes or scarring- but I just use a combination of powder concealers on trouble spots, and my skin looks flawless with this foundation. My skin looks much smoother and my pores are barely visible, despite the light coverage, and it really does last all day long! And unlike Revlon Colorstay, Almay TLC does not cause my face to breakout. It really doesn't even feel like I'm wearing make-up at all. Its a wonderful product- I love everything about it!

This is one of the only foundations with SPF that does not irritate my skin. The coverage is not great so if you have alot of skin imperfections it probably is not the one for you. I like the light texture as it does not feel like you are wearing makeup at all, very natural looking.
EDIT: had to discontinue caused irritation with daily use.

I bought this product after readin such good reviews and I was incredibly disappointed. I will give it credit for having a decent match to my skintone, but it doesn't work very well as a foundation. At first, it goes on badly (barely visible), but after slopping it on, it looks ok. Later, you will notice how badly it settles (at least with my skin). It looks like a thick layer of powder and emphasizes the size of pores. I tried mixing it with a bit of face cream, but that didn't even help.

I was really excited about this product because it had really high reviews when i bought it. I am NC15 and got buff which is a little too yellow, but i could make it work. Unfortunately, this stuff didn't cover ANYTHING...i was expecting a medium to full coverage foundation, but after 3 layers, i still had redness and acne spots like i hadn't even applied any foundation. Ugh! It's going back...

the color matched my skin- but i look dead when i wear this stuff (i have lighter olive skin) the foundation itself has good coverage without looking caked on- but it does not last like it promises (perhaps it would for someone in a dry climate- or without oily skin) i love the foundation pump- but the smell of it was a bit icky. i would not buy this again.

Almay Amazing Lasting was my favorite foundation of all time. It's the only makeup I've used that I'm positive didn't break me out, and the only thing that held up on my extremely oily skin (Estee Lauder Double Wear, the updated Revlon Colorstay, and every other longwear makeup I've tried has not), so I was horrified when they discontinued it and ordered an obscene amount from Ebay.
Overall, TLC lasts a little bit less long than the original, BUT it still lasts longer on me than anything else I've tried and is still the only thing on the market that lasts on me at all. It is less dry than the original and most longwear foundations, and it also doesn't sink into my wrinkles like most makeups, which is a plus. The pump is also a great improvement, although since I use a lot and the pump has a lot of resistance, it ends up hurting my finger trying to pump it all out.
Almay usually has very natural colors, but I've found that the lightest is too pink/orange for me, and the second shade up, Buff, is too dark and yellow (I'm very pale). I tried combining the two in varying amounts, but that just made it look orange/yellow, so now I've taken to mixing in a little bit of a very fair concealer to balance it out.
I find the texture/finish of this to be much less natural on me than the old Almay was, but I do use a lot (I use a sponge to stipple a layer on, let it dry, and repeat until I'm covered). I use just a little bit less of this than I do of the old Almay, so the coverage is comparable, although this one seems to cover while still letting my skin show through - which I know most people would love, but because I have such uneven skin in general, I'd rather it not do that! I find it similar to the updated Revlon Colorstay in both coverage and finish, but it definitely lasts longer.
Overall I don't like this as much as the old formula, but I will continue to use it because it actually lasts on me. I think it's definitely worth a shot for anyone looking for a long lasting foundation, especially if they've found other formulas too dry.

This stuff looks great once you let it set, which takes a suprisingly long time for a longwear foundation. One thing I don't understand about it though is that it offers full coverage but it isn't really opaque. I had to put on 3 layers just to cover acne scars and I don't see the bottle lasting very long if I have to use that much. Anyway if I had made some adjustments with concealer and used a couple of tricks like that I think I would have been able to work with this but it broke me out pretty badly, so back to the store it goes! I wish I could keep the bottle though because the packaging is great. Oh well.

This is a long wearing liquid foundation with medium coverage, and spf 15. Ladies, if you have oily skin and like a long wearing foundation give this a try. I have tried many long wearing foundations and this one beats them all. I have acne prone, oily skin with large pores. This foundation makes my skin look smooth, matches my skin tone perfectly, and does not budge. I put this on at 7:00am and took it off at 9:00pm and it still looked great. I do have to blot a couple of times a day but I have to do that with any make up. My skin is far from perfect, but this makes my skin look better than any other foundation has. They have a good color selection also. I can't compare this to the Amazing Lasting because I never tried it. If you don't like this Maybelling Super Stay is another great long wearing foundation. I can't wear it because the lightest color Light 1 is too dark for me. But, if you have darker skin it is great also. I have only been wearing this a few days I hope it doesn't break me out. I will repost and let you know if it does.

I also loved Amazing Lasting, was horrified when they discontinued it, and have been looking for another great foundation since. And I have the same things to say about TLC many other people do. The new pump bottle is great, but the foundation's too gooey. I 'heard' someone say something about marshmallow fluff...It doesn't go on smoothly or blend well. Doesn't really last either, settles funny after a long day. (And you can forget their "won't transfer" BS). I won't be buying this again unless they change the formula. I'd rather go with Revlon Colorstay, even if it's too yellow/pink for my skin (they need a neutral!).

I would say this is definitely an acceptable replacement for Almay's Amazing Lasting foundation. I still like the original better. But this does admirably well. Don't care for the pump bottle. The liquid is thick in the bottle but goes on smoothly just like Amazing Lasting. I use to use a sponge to apply and it was easier with the original bottle. To do blemish touch-ups requires pumping some on a piece of index card and blotting it up that way. This means there is some wasted. I don’t imagine I’m going to get every last drop out of this pump bottle either. It is going to require some ingenuity to get as much out of it as I can. Color match is excellent for me as it is very close to the original color. This actually matches better. I have tried Revlon Active, but their colors didn’t match. I wore it for 8 hours and it did very well. Just like AAL. I have combo skin and a EXTREMELY oily T-zone. The only thing I have found that balances and dramatically reduces the oiliness is pure jojoba oil. I wear this under my foundation and it really controls shine.
The ingredients are different and that might explain why some loyal Amazing Lasting fans have not had success with this. Personally, I’m glad I tried it.
I was so thankful that Almay produced Amazing Lasting as long as they did. Question is: How long will they keep this one on the shelves? Maybe I should buy 30 bottles.

I bought this in buff - the second lightest I believe. I put it on with a damp sponge... it looked a little dark at first, and felt very matte. Later though it looked more natural and not as dark. I'm about a NC15 or 20 I think. I didn't consider the lightest because it was pinker, and I'm definitely not pink-toned.
The pump bottle is nice - I like the glass instead of plastic as well.
The coverage is medium to full imo. It totally covered my dark pigmentation on my cheeks. I wasn't crazy about the scent - a little chemical-ly but it faded quickly. For winter skin it feels a bit heavy and matte. I'm thinking this will be perfect come heat and humidity!
Anyway, overall this has great staying power and coverage.

I usually use revlon colorstay in buff but I wanted to try a different brand of long-wearing makeup to see it there was something I liked better out there. I didn't like the color choices. I got the lightest one and it was too light and the buff color looked too yellow in the store. The coverage was medium and not very easy to build. I found it a lot harder to blend than my revlon, but after it settled it had a nicer finish and looked more natural. When I washed it off at the end of the day my skin was really smooth, like it had been mousturizing all day. I don't think I will be buying this again though.
