the base notes I think are identical to the original Fantasy, but the top and mid notes to me smell like bubblegum, and vanilla.

weird, I know, but it just smells like yummy bubblegum candy. I'm going to repurchase this as much as the original Fantasy when the price drops a bit.

Female friends loved it, no compliments from the boys though :(

I get a lot of vanilla and cake/frosting with Midnight Fantasy, and a little fruity on top. Yeah, blueberry muffin. I don't get the grape that others have mentioned.

Probably the last fragrance in the world I ever thought I'd wind up loving, but I do. It's distinct, it's different, it's a real kick to wear! I'm well past the 40 age mark, been up & down the fragrance roster over the years, but gotta say, this one really blew me away! I have been wearing the original "Fantasy" (didn't expect to love that one, either) and thought I would try Midnight - walked out of the store loving it. I had to go back & get it, because as the afternoon wore on, the scent just became lovelier and lovelier. It wears exceptionally well. It's sweet but mature, candyish, but the tropical orchid in the notes is what rounds it out in the end. The bottle is gorgeous. I agree with a previous poster here that Britney should quit the rat race and go into fragrances full-time. She may be in limbo as far as life and career are concerned, but she sure has a handle on what America's women like as far as fragrance is concerned.

I absolutely LOVE this and let me state for the record that I have until now staunchly refused to buy celebrity fragrances. (I still hate the fact that the money I've spent on this goes to that crackhead Britney!) However, after reading all the positive comments on the boards for this fragrance, I had no choice but to sniff this at the store. It reminds me of winecoolers almost, smells just like grape, strawberry and blueberry - a great scent for a summer evening spent on a beach gazing at the stars. I can't help but love the bottle - yes, it is tacky and a little over the top (kinda like Las Vegas!) it is purple (love purple!!) and looks magical sitting on my dresser. Not the most sophisticated or grownup fragrance ever but it made me happy and that's all that matters, right?

First thought that came into my mind was "yum". It smells so sweet yet sohphisticated. Its not overpowering and anoying at all. I don't know if i would wear it, it's not really my style. I'm so much more into the flowery scents, but this one is so really attractive and girly.I like it but i dont know. It smells more like it should be a body spray and not a serious perfume

LOVE THIS SCENT!!! Very alluring and sensual, I kept smelling my wrist all day long, it's got good staying power too. I think Britney needs to quit the Biz and just do perfume! LOL
It's quite lovely, I will be buying it again!!

I do not like the original Fantasy, it's sickeningly sweet to me..so I didn't think I would like this one. I rarely like sweet scents or fruit scents unless they are done properly. This is a subtle berry scent with a light vanilla undertone. I went in to Elder-Beerman and I'm a perfume fanatic, so while I didn't care for the original Fantasy, I had to try this out. I sprayed it on a card and took it home. I was attached to it the whole day. Constantly kept sniffing it. I went back the next day and spritz it on me to see how it would wear and work with my chemistry. I wore it around all day and got compliments and most of all, couldn't stop smelling myself! It's delicious! My mother loved it so much she is going to gift it to me for Valentine's Day!

I love this perfume. I have all of Britney's perfumes, except Fantasy In Control because I don't like atomizers and I don't care much for that scent. This one is the BEST! I was going to get a bigger bottle of Curious, but I discovered this on the counter and bought this instead. It smells fruity, yet not childish or immature-very light, but also long lasting. I myself prefer fruity scents, and I really do not like floral ones so this is perfect! EDITED 2/10/07 Okay, while I do still think this smells good, the more I wore it, the more I felt like a bag of potpourri or like I have been making blueberry muffins all day long. I just decided that this smell belongs better as a room freshener than on me-this stuff is not worth $55.00! edited again 7/8/07 okay, I bought another bottle of this stuff. It just smells so good. It may not last that long, but I love it.

A delicious blend of berries and cream with a slight hint of Sweet Tarts candies thrown in. I returned from Macy's with a bag full of decanted samples, and just had fun reaching into the bag and doing a blind sniff test of the scents I had wanted to try.

Surprisingly, this is one of my favorites. I did not care for the original Fantasy. To me, the blend of notes just didn't complement each other. It smelled of baked goods, exotic flowers and musk all in the wrong proportions, and promptly gave me a head ache.

But Midnight Fantasy smells a bit more refined and well blended. There is a hint of CSP's Coeur de Vahine in the top notes, but it dries down to a snuggly berry and floral scent with a soft dollop of cream underlying it all.

I'm not wild about the packaging, but the juice is fun and sweet. Perhaps even a bit seductive, though not seductive in a manner that takes itself too seriously. I wouldn't expect this to be a scent to make people stop in their tracks, but it is fun and pleasant while still possessing a bit of that je ne sais quoi that makes a scent call out to you as an individual. Fragrance Notes: black cherries, framboise, plum, orchid, freesia, iris, musk, amber and vanilla.

The first time I tried this, I didn't care for it at all. I do own the original Fantasy, which is the ONLY fragrance like it in my collection. I am usually not too into the gourmand types. But Fantasy has this sunny summertime likeability to it. I find it sweet, but also easy to wear.
I tried Midnight again today. To be fair, I didn't not try it on myself, only on paper. But by giving it a second chance, it sort of grew on me.
I agree with a previous poster that it has some sort of sugar plum scent to it. It isn't as edible as Fantasy, as it has a spiciness to it.
To compare the two to, IMO, a couple of better fragrances.... Midnight Fantasy is to Fantasy, what Magical Moon is to Hanae Mori Butterfly.
The newer fragrances being a spicier, darker version than the formers.
I prefer Fantasy, as I prefer Butterfly. But I do find both of their new versions an interesting spiced up version, though not as easily wearable.

Well....this smells like a shisha (hooka) bar. I put this on after getting it as a gift and within a few minutes I kept looking around to see if anyone was smoking the pipe around...nope it was ME! This is what I smell like after being in the bar all evening...not what I am looking for in a fragrance! I guess on some it would be nice, but way to incense/fruity for me. (I did like the original fantasy)

I really liked this scent when I first put it on, and I still do, but after a while of wearing, I realized it reminded me of blueberry muffins, thats kind of what it smells like. Not my fav of scents, but it's ok. The scent lasts though, and thats always a plus.

On me, this was aggressively fruit-punchy and never mellowed to any other note than, "Hey, Kool-Aid!". I love the original Fantasy, but this was nothing like that for me. I can imagine it smelling nice on someone with a different chemistry- it's not horrible in any way, just too much fruit for my liking.

I had to get this one, since I LOVE fantasy. I ordered the from Sephora and can't stop sniffing my wrists. It reminds me of the Strawberry Shortcake dolls from the 80's that I used to collect when I was little. These dolls all had a scent to them. It's a blueberry kinda smell, mixed with fruit punch, I'd say it smells alittle grape-ish too. It's not overbearing, not too little-girlish although I don't like stuffy "mature" type fragrances. I really love this one but it's not for everyone.

I ordered this because of all the reviews that said it smells like grape. I love grape scented things, but sadly, this fragrance is not one. The bottle is such a pretty midnight purple color. The fragrance reminds me almost exactly of Escada's Tropical Punch, very light and summery. I do smell some berry notes, but no grape. All in all, not terrible but not great either.

I love this, I think its perfect for spring, it smells like the original fantasty but had a strong hint of a dark berry, like maybe a blackberry or something. I love the how they made the bottle darker its so cute.

I wouldn't go as far as to call this scent bad. To me it smells of sugar plum with a bit of pear, and berries thrown in. It's actually sweeter than the original fantasy, and it's not a bad thing. This would be better as a lighter spring scent, than something that is kind of hyped up as a winter type scent. I tried it on at Macys, and I wouldn't mind buying this in the future. I really liked it!

I found this today at Sears Canada, it comes in the same bottle design as the original Fantasy but this is one is a deep purple colour rather than pink. Now about the juice, it is TERRIBLE. I think I should say here that I love the scent of the original Fantasy (warm sweet gourmand) even though I don't wear it, but this has a sharp tart note to it that completely destroyed it. I was expecting this to be a spicier/ woodsier deeper scent, but it is just a complete berry overload mess.
