When I saw the reviews I had to have this. I rushed out to buy it. I was momentarily gutted when I saw that the lightest shade was too dark for my skin but the SA said it would warm up my complexion - course it will....
I took a look and thought sod it i'll take it. I'm glad that i did. The difference is hardly noticeable. I managed to get some samples after expressing an interest in the skincare line as well - it's not that great.
The foundation is great though, dont' need very much of it, i was shocked the way the SA slapped it onto my face, no wonder they always look so terrible! But if i buff it on lightly it's perfect.
Before this I was using shiseido hydro liquid compact, I like that too although it's fragranced and I think it was causing irritation to my skin, it was a lot more creamy and didn't last very long at all - you had to buy refills every 3 months at least. Ok so the shade match was perfect but i'm glad i went with chanel this time. This should last me a good long while and with all the great reviews it's getting how can i not choose it! Compacts are the only type of foundation I use, liquid just drives me nuts, i hate it.
UPDATE: I am sorry to have ever left my shiseido for this. I won't say this is crap because it's not but I don't like the way it's so heavy and cakey. It looks fine on but I just think... to orange and too heavy. I will keep it to use in emergencies becuase after all it is chanel and it did cost a bomb to buy but i will stick with shiseido whom i love!

This is almost perfect~ I have oily, acne-prone skin and extremely large pores due to the acne scar. Above all, this makes my pores disappear and makes my skin look clear even when the really dark scars are still seen. After 12 hours I applied, it looks nearly same with in the morning. No darkening effect and very fresh when I apply. I think it's very good for acn-prone skin, for its balancing effect makes my acnes calm down and cure. Fantastic foundation.

First off, i have acne prone, oily buty dehydrated skin and easily clogged. To me this was a much higher priced covergirl advanced radiance compact or aquasmooth. The texture is similar, finish is similar, all but the price and packaging. This would be better for dry skin types as i found parts of my make up sliding off my face at the end of the day, and it may have aggravated a few acne spots. i will not buy this again even if i had dry skin though, because CG advanced radiance is $9849849 cheaper, and almost identical.

I have combination skin and I love the Teint Innocence compact creme. The texture is like Mac Studio Tech but finer. The finish is natural and luminous. With this creme, my pores are well disguised and my face looks perfect. The package can efficiently prevent the creme from drying. I think this will be my HG in compact creme for a long time. BTW I usually use 20 Clair and I think Teint Innocence in Clair has the same brightness as other Chanel foundations. Other information: 12g, SPF 10, £28, refill £19.

I always love Chanel's foundations. The new teint innocence cream form is so far the best I have tried. It's easy to apply and goes nicely on the skin without being cakey. I only need to blot once for the whole day.
Do take note to go easy when picking up using the sponge as a little will be just nice. :)

I already have (and love) the fluid version of this, so I was keen to try out the compact version too! Well I love it it is just as good IMO!!! I have it in Faience 05 which is a perfect match for my NC15 oily/combo skin. It has more yellow undertones which is great for a PPP. It really looks like a second skin - just like perfect skin. I have had lots of compliments on my skin since wearing Teint Innocence. I have tried so many foundations and I have finally found my last - Here is where the story ends - My HG foundation. :-)

The best foundation I have had in a month of Sundays!! I have dry to normal, quite pale skin, and this covers yet still allows a bit of glow on my 40+ SKIN, so that is quite impressive. It has great staying power, and is so easy to apply. The compact is well designed and you can buy refills so it will not be that expensive in the long term. If you can find your colour match you may never need to buy another foundation!

This is a beautiful foundation and the best one I've tried todate (and there have been lots!!). It doesn't irritate my sensitive skin and gives the most amazing finish. I've always rated Chanel foundations but this by far is my favourite. Quite a few beauty editors have raved about this too so I'm sure it will become a best seller. Definitely one to recommend.

I thought I loved Vitalumiere, but I was wrong. I looooooooooove Teint Innocence. It covers wonderfully and doesn't feel or look heavy. The initial purchase is expensive(ish) at £28, but refills are only £18 which makes it wonderfully affordable.
I usually use shade 20 Claire in Chanel foundations, but for some reason that was too light for me in this. 30 works well, but it's not perfect now that any bit of a summer tan is quickly fading, but I can make it work (it still matches the skin on my nose perfectly, lol). I don't think 30 is all that pinky at all, its actually very neutral, where as 20 is more yellow.
This foundation feels cool going on and blends like a dream. It's easy to layer without it caking. To top it off, it doesn't irritate my skin or break me out (which pretty much everything else does now). I can't imagine I'll be changing anytime soon.

Great creme compact foundation for my sensitive/dryish skin, for the cooler 6-9 months of the year. I really love compact foundations, since sometimes in the mornings it needs to go fast, so I simply swipe this on and I m rady to go! Teint Innocence is probably by far one of the best compact foundations out there. I also like the neutral smell, unlike Vitalumiere which I cannot stand (although I love the finish but cant use due to the horrific perfumy smell!) Applies very smoothe and even. Coverage is buildable. Last quite a few hours, so I only need to a blotting sheet once or twice on my t-zone during the day. Not sure how many hours this would hold up on oily ladies.
EDIT: No longer use

I am so impressed with this. I am never happy with foundations and I have tried them all, but I have been using this nonstop.
It's light and non drying yet seems to keep my skin comfortably matt for hours with that amazing "just cleansed my skin" glow.
Believe me I'm not one to hype about a product when somethings crap but this is great.
I don't wear foundation all over, just on the t-zone, but I really wanna spread this everywhere!
If I had to bitch about one thing it would be that claire is a teeny weeny bit dark, and the lighter one is too pale. But hey, you can't even notice.
To summarise, it's a better version of chantecaille real skin, but not with the same rip off price tag and better (not heavier) coverage.

this is chanel's latest foundation. the teint innocence range has the cream to powder foundation, the liquid foundation and a pressed powder. this review is for the cream to powder foundation which comes in chanels signature black compact, but this compact is round instead of the usual square.
the included sponge is separated from the foundation, by a dish which you flip up to reveal the foundation. this prevents the sponge from sitting directly upon the product, which is a plus point.
i initially thought it would be a more 'powdery' formula to the touch but no, the stuff is actually quite soft tho it doesnt feel 'wet' on skin at all. so thinking it would be semi-hard powder, i stuck the sponge in and found that oh okay, lol it actually sunk really easily into the cake. so when you use it, go easy because otherwise you will pick up alot of product by accident.
so when i accidentally had so much product on my sponge, i smeared it on my cheeks and tried to blend it all out really quick. and the good thing is, it doesnt dry up quickly on skin so you actually do have some time to blend and buff it into skin and make it look perfect.
its really easy to apply, very smooth, doesnt streak nor cake. i have an area on my face right now which is kinda dry and on the verge of peeling but it doesnt accentuate nor emphasize the dryness/peeling area at all.
there is quite a decent amount of coverage. so this might be just what i'm looking for when i want to get out of the house quick and dont have time to do concealor all over the place slowly. for areas which need more coverage, i just dab on more of the foundation and it covers beautifully.
after application, skin doesnt feel sticky to the touch so its just brilliant!
i have swatches of some of the shades in the gallery of my piggiejanpics account. there is also a link to it on my notepad.
