It does moisturize your lips with a warm pink color (that does not stay long). It has SPF which is nice. It smells and tastes like vanilla, bubblegum and (yuck) sunscreen to me. I can TASTE the sunscreen, like if I stuck the top of a Coppertone bottle on and applied liberally!! There are other lip products with SPF that don't taste like the sunscreen in them. The packaging would be better in a tube, as others have mentioned.

Got this for $13.50 for a MAC Store. It didn't occur to me when I tried this at the store, but once I got home and tried it, I realized this is practically the same thing as Bloom's square gloss in Tangerine...on me, it's the same smell and same color too (a your lips by better color). The plus side to MAC's is that it's a lip conditioner and it has SPH 15. The down side (maybe) is that Bloom has a prettier packaging. I forgot how much I brought the Bloom gloss for. But still, MAC's lip conditioner has a simple cute paint bottle like packaging. I think it's a big large to carry around in your pockets, but you can always leave in your handbag :)
I really wanted to get the Coral lip conditioner too, but I stuck with this since the color in the tube was seemed more natural. I tried Coral too and it actually was pretty sheer, but I still stuck with Petting Pink instead. The next one I buy will be Coral color.

I love MAC and love them even more for creating a lip balm with SPF. It gives me a natural look with a bit of shine, MLBB. Plus, I love the vanilla scent. A little goes a long way and there is a lot of product in the pot. I just hope that by the time I get to the bottom of the pot they don't decide to discontinue it!!

I really like this. I hate lip balms but this takes care of my dry cracked lips and adds a pretty pink coloring to them. It's sheer but noticeable. I want to get several more colors. It comes in a pretty big pot and looks like it will last me a long time.

Love this tinted lip conditioner too. It isnt very pigmented but still enhances the color of my lips. Looks natural (like a YLBB soft pink w/ a melon undertone) and moisturizes *really* well. These tinted conditioners are awesome!

I love the product itself - very conditioning, good smell. Makes my lips very soft and feels good on. This color is not as pigmented as it seems, so it barely shows up, but I like the effect.
I wish I could have this in a squeeze tube instead of the pot - I hate getting my finger covered and I feel like I am wasting product.

This is the prettiest warm coral pink lip conditioner. Looks somewhat bright in the pot, but is just a sheer warm pink on. Love the glossy, smooth feel of this, too. I've been using this everyday for almost a week, and my lips are in the best shape they've been in all winter. Many people don't like the pot, and I admit it's a pain to have to use your finger to swipe this on, but the product and its packaging are actually aesthetically pleasing to me! I will definitely repurchase, though there is a lot of product in the container, and I probably won't have to for a while.

By far this is my favorite of the tinted lip conditioners, I thought my fav was the beige one but this one is SOOOOOO pretty!!
It's a light pink (with maybe a bit of peach to it) that looks so pretty and natural on, a YLBB shade on me. It smells really yummy, just like vanilla, and it keeps my lips so soft and smooth.
Huge rave from me on this one!! :o)

I really like this! Its a beautiful soft pink, with the perfect amount of glossiness. And it really does moisturize the lips! Besides, its so fool-proof...no mirror needed. However, at $16 Cdn, I find it a bit pricey and the packaging could be improved upon. Overall, this is an excellent product and I'm already planning to get all the shades!

I'm torn on this product. I hate the pot and I don't find it very moisturizing, but I love the look it gives my lips. Petting Pink shows up slightly pink on my lips, but not so much that anyone would notice a colour change. The shine it gives is so nice, though, and I like that it's foolproof, no mirror makeup. Unlike some, I hate the scent - it smells stale to me. Hey MAC, put it in a tube and nix the scent and you'll have something great on your hands.

Hallelujah! MAC has finally started to sell a lip balm with proper sun protection! Apart from the fact that it is slightly greasy and that I hate the pot, it's a keeper! It smells really good and the colours are all beautiful. Petting Pink is a beautiful nude pink and on me it's MLBB. Now I want Fuschia Fix!

Petting Pink looks to be a coral pink (similar to Bloom's Tangerine lipgloss) in the pot, but turns to a sheer cool pink on my lips. Although I really would have liked the gloss to appear more coral, the pink is pretty and fool-proof enough to apply without a mirror. I love the soft, buttery feel of this balm, and my lips feel moisturized for hours after applying it. I have a feeling this will get a lot of use in the summer when I want moisture and a polished but simple look. I really would have preferred this in a tube because the pot is just a bit chunky to carry around. Also, the price is unbelievable for a lipbalm. Despite the negative aspects, I'm impressed with the texture and longevity of the lip conditioner and would probably purchase it in other colors.

I've been using this for a couple days now. So far I'm loving the pigmentation - very MLBB. The smell is a little bubble gummy but it's not at all overwhelming. I'm not crazy about it being in a little pot, but I suppose I can learn to live with it :)

I had to say I was really excited about these but they didnt live up to the hype. I bought petting pink, a very pretty medium pink, but it went on REALLY GREASY for me and i really hate that. It lasted for quite a bit tho. It's funny because i hate really tacky balms and really greasy balms. Anyway its 13.50 and thats pretty reasonable for the amount you get. and i also dont like the finger dipping thing. So if you like very thin lip balms (by the way they are VERY moisturizing and smell amazing) go get this :)
EDIT: I applied this less liberally and LOVED the tint and the way it felt on my lips. I really do like it now :)
EDIT again: sadly this made my lips REALLY chapped so I had to give it away. :(

Good thing about these lip conditioners is that they have more pigment than I expected. Petting Pink actually show up on my lips as very neutral colour. The product comes in a big pot. The wear is average. I don't like the scent(I detect bubble gum), which reminds me of some Bonne Bell products that cost so much less.

I would rather this was in a tube rather than a pot, but nobody asked me, so what can ya do? The color is a sheer light pink, which has melon tones in the pot. It doesn't really give much color to my lips, but the taste is pleasant and it softens my lips.

|Poster is - LLL, NC20, Vanilla Beige| I had to try these when I saw them on the counter at the MAC store. I decided on Petting Pink since I wanted something moisturizing I could carry around with me that did not look very far from my natural lip pigment. Petting pink is the most perfect soft pink I've ever worn. It gives your lips the prettiest pink flush and shine! It's also extremely moisturizing and conditioning, great for winter. I have found the average application lasts for several (3+) hours. It does have a *slight* taste and there is the slightest hint of vanilla scent. Not unpleasant in the least. The pot contains a fairly large amount of product and I consider the retail price of $13.50 to be very fair. I plan on trying Plum Perfect and Fuschia Fix in the bear future as well since these really do have the PERFECT amount of pigmentation.

I love this! There's a good amount of product and a little goes a long way. This is a definite MLBB product. I love the smell, but I can't put my finger on what it is. It's a glossy, soft (not drying color). I love this!

I wasn't planning on buying the tinted lip conditioner, because it comes in a pot and I prefer my lip balm in a tube. But the color is so sheer and MLBB natural (although it looks brighter in the pot), the scent is so nice, and the reformulation includes an SPF 15 (Octinoxate 7.50%, Octisalate 5.00%, Titanium Dioxide 0.97%), I couldn't pass it up. The scent is kind of a sweet vanilla-melon. This lip balm isn’t sticky or goopy; it’s very smooth. It leaves my lips a little bit shiny with just a hint of color and seems to stay on quite a while. A very nice product--now MAC just needs to put it in a tube.
