This is my favorite eye shadow duo. It is not overwhelming on the eyes - perfect neutral colors to use everyday. You can intensify the colors for an evening out by using the glitter pencils from NARS. I would buy this duo again and again because it is something you will always use. I am half American and half Korean - so anyone with yellow or olive colored skin would like this set.

In my opinion, this is one of the best shadows ever! This shimmery goldish, neutral shadow is so perfect for almost everyone. The two shades are very similar, and I tend to use the more shimmery one (on the left) more. A MUST have!

I love e/s duos to begin with because I like using two shades and I don't trust myself it choose the pairings. I adore NARS eyeshadow! A new favorite for me, it just applies really nicely and stays strong all day. All About Eve is just about my favorite eye shadow right now. The colors look similar in the case (two slightly different shades of champagne), but they look different from each other once I put them on. I get compliments one this one.

Absolutely love this! Ok, it was A LOT of money... but I couldn't help myself! Yes the colors are alike, but both gorgeous. Perfect for daytime. I'm going to use this with my nars multiple in South Beach as a base... oddly enough to contrast another review its shows up on me. I'm a GGG, dark brown hair, dark brown eyes, and because its so light it looks wonderful! Maybe its the brush? Anyways, I love it all the same!

I love these light shimmery peachy colors. I use them on an almost daily basis with my Night Star. My complaint once again is that thse crease like mad on me unless I use a base.

Its a kit of two very neutral champagnes one being completely shimmery champagne, and the other just a basic slightly more matte peachy champagne. There is not much difference between the two colours, and I find the application a little grainy. I don't care for NARS shadows texture, but I do like their colour selection. I have got better performance from an eyeshadow set from Estee Lauder than this set.

If you are after a gorgeous subtle e/s that works for day and night this is definately worth a look. The colour barely shows up on my skin but that is the look I was going for when I bought it so no complaints there from me. If you don't like sheer and nude don't even bother with this one.

This is a staple for me. it's so soft and pretty. I use the lighter champagne shadow with other shadows as a highlighter too. I will definitely keep buying this.

All About Eve is a beautiful duo with lighter and slightly deeper versions of shimmery champagne beige. When the MA tried it on me, she recommended mixing both together on your brush. The effect is a nice, neutral daytime look with just the right amount of shimmer for me. I'm a PPP with blue/green eyes and think this eyeshadow duo will be a staple for me. Update 3/15/04: Still loving this duo for a foolproof polished look that's great for mornings when I'm in a hurry.

Didn't show up on me at all, and I am a fair-medium shade. I had to return it.

A definite staple for me. I love nude tones and this duo has the best of both worlds in that respect -- a shimmery ivory-ish nude and an almost matte (both with a hint of shimmer) champagne nude. I love both colors - worn separately, together, or in combo with more dramatic tones. In my book, this is a subtle, sophisticated eyeshadow winner.

The two shades in this duo, shimmery beigey cream and shimmery peachy beige are both pale and sheer, so don't expect a strong look. They can be used separately or together in a variety of shapes for a neutral daytime eye that just perks up and warms your look without screaming 'eyeshadow'. With a neutral lip, you have a great natural look, and with a red lip, these colors will just finish your look without competing. They also work well with a variety of other stronger colors when a more dramatic look is sought. A great versatile basic that will work with many skin tones.

This shadow duo consists of a shimmery champagne and a shimmery pinkish champagne. The colors are pretty but the shadows in a duo are supposed to have some contrast so they can be worn together to create one look. There is barely any difference between these two shadows, although they are lovely. I would not purchase again but the quality of the shadows is nice.

Very pretty and light and shimmery. My only thing about it is that I would have liked a little more contrast between the two shades, but other than that they are great. Very wearable and lovely texture. Totally neutral, no orange or pink undertones. I like to use the darker shade as a wash, and the lighter one to highlight.

I bought this because I was dying to try Nars shadows after using and loving the Pigalle lipstick. I love the colors but the shadow didnt last, it faded and creased. So I havent used this since I bought it. I would not buy this again

THis is a wonderful shadow duo of warm to neutral colors. They brighten up the eyes without giving too much color-a staple item for a day or a night look! The only thing with nars shadows is that they can melt in hot weather-so a shadow base is recommeded for longer lasting application.

As far as e/s go, this is my staple item. The two shades are a nice shimmery cream, and a shimmery cream/peach (very pale), and they look lovely used to highlight the brow using darker shades or simply by themselves. Every woman should have this duo in their make-up kit.

I was on a Nars kick and darn near got every duo he had, only to find out that they can be streaky to apply and can not be used wet unless you want to ruin the rest of the shadow, so as a whole I don't like Nars shadows, but I LOVE AAE! It is the perfect champagne and taupe shimmer that flatters everyone (except those who hate shimmer shadows). I use it pretty frequently and love how it brightens my face. My favorite look is: AAE shadow, Sin blush, and Dolce Vita Lipstick.
