Absolutely LOVE this mascara! Just got it delivered Friday so I've been using it over the weekend and I am pleasantly surprised by the results. Too Faced Lash Injection is my "go-to", but SuperSHOCK is a close second. After curling my naturally long lashes, I use 2-3 coats of mascara, allowing for dry time between coats. My lashes look amazing: lush, wicked long, and thick. For the price I paid (intro price of $5), how could I possibly go wrong?? Go for this one!

Originally, I was really impressed with this mascara. It definitely did add some serious length and volume to my otherwise wimpy lashes. I'm addicted to Diorshow but hate the price tag, so this was a less expensive option for me. However, after the first tube, I was never able to get a good result again. I don't know if they changed the formula or what. It's not waterproof, yet it gives my lashes a sticky, rubbery coating that does not come off easily. It flakes terribly and irritates my eyes. Too bad because it does make my lashes look nice, but I definitely won't be repurchasing.

I normally use Mark's Make it Big, or Red Earth 2V and have even purchased high end mascaras from Lancome or Estee Lauder. I am over 50, so my lashes aren't as lush as they used to be and I need all the help I can get. This new to the Canadian market mascara comes in a big fat tube and has rubber bristles. When I first saw it, I thought what an odd concept, but will it actually work? I am very pleased with the results. It does not goop on application and I can do a second coat if I wish without the usual clumps. It covers all my lashes and adds decent length and curl. Because I got this from my Avon rep for 2 dollars (it was her demo) I am giving this a 5 star, and will definitely repurchase. Good selection of shades, including navy blue.

This is a good mascara, I was pleasantly surprised by the way it lengthens and volumises..it's the first Avon mascara I've tried and I'm glad I did! It also curls m,y lashes which many mascaras don't seem to do. Worth trying and inexpensive :)!
Update: I'm loving this mascara, my hubby thought I was wearing false eyelashes and he usually never notices it when I've got mascara on. This thickens and lengthens and covers each lash and doesnt clump, you do need 2-3 strokes but then thats the case with nearly all mascaras, this gives results! I think it just may be my HG! recommended that you try it!!

Avon never ceases to amaze me. I tried their mascaras years ago and hated them. I picked up a Daring Curves once because they had one of their holiday colors in sable and thought it would be perfect for my light skin & hair. It was a perfect shade and I loved the mascara. Then recently I received Mark's Make it Big in a swap and absolutely fell in love with that one and figured I found my HG. I recently went on their website to order another Make it Big but I saw that they had this one new. I figured it must be like CG Lash Blast everyone raved about so I decided to try it while it was on sale. I've been using it for about a week now and I love the volume that it gives my lashes. I've never been able to find a volumizing mascara that wasn't clumpy (except CG Volume Exact WP) Better yet they make it in brown and navy which makes me very happy. I like brown & navy both for a more natural look (yes - navy looks natural on me) I don't know why more companies don't make brown & navy - thank you Rimmel! Anyhoo - I definitely will buy this again.

** Edit** I recently bought the Navy and oh I love it!!! It makes my blue eyes pop without looking like I stepped out of the 80s. It looks like a bright blue on the wand but it goes on darker and not very bright. I so recommend this for people looking for a blue mascara. Much better than Max Factors Deep Blue (which Iiked too)

I'm loving this product. Its the first mascara in a while that keeps my eyelashes curled and flake-free throughout the day. No burning of the eyes and no brush clumping. The HUGE wand takes some getting used to, but it does cover every lash.

Wonderful mascara. This is the first one that works for me without giving me the racoon eyes at the end of the day. Since I am a hair stylist, so the heat from my blow dryer can melt most mascaras , but not this one. This will be my stable for a long time.

This is just an okay mascara.I agree with another reviewer who said that her lashes were more straight after application. The giant wand does not bother me at all,but the mascara only lengthens, there is no volumizing and it did smudge on me but keep in mind I use eye cream and concealer.SuperSHOCK works best with a base(Shiseido) and only than will you see any volume .I tend to apply multiple coats before mascara dries because I like a full look.I can't achieve this without a base with this mascara.I prefer to use Lash Injection mascara because there is no need for a base at all.Lash Injection is not for the novice mascara user-it does everything I like but proper attention to applying and removing must be followed or you won't get the results !

I bought this when Avon discontinued "Longest Lashes Ever," which was my HG inexpensive mascara.

"SuperShock" is *okay,* but I much prefer "Longest Lashes Ever."

I have "SuperShock" in black. Used with UD's "Lingerie & Galoshes for Lashes," "SuperShock" provides okay thickness but not much length, and it tends to clump slightly.

"SuperShock" does stay on fairly well on my super-oily skin, and it's not a terrible mascara, just not as good as I'd hoped.

I also find the large brush rather awkward.

I plan to try something else next time.

I am not feeling the love on this at all. At least I got it at a fair price. The brush is huge, just like CG lashblast but the mascara formulation stinks. It doesn't coat well at all and has a clumpy feel like other mascaras after you've been using them a month, but this one is like that even the first time. I got it in the black-brown color. It was so-so. Back to CG & MF for me.

I tried this when a coworker/Avon lady passed around a bunch of 'em at $3 each, figured I couldn't go wrong.

I LOVE the stuff! It makes my lashes look super long and full. It also has great staying power. Avon has managed to impress me.

I love the huge brush and didn't find it hindered application.

this mascara sucks! i've tried almost every mascara that avon has released and almost every single time, i'm disappointed. this was no different. first of all, let me just say that i do like the rubber mascara wands, so its not a matter of me not liking the brush. this formula is just awful. it is so clumpy! no matter how hard i try, it clumps on the first coat. it also makes my lashes so straight! i've never had a mascara do this before. i normally don't curl my eyelashes as i was blessed with naturally, semi curled lashes, so i can usually just get them to curl enough with just the mascara. however, with this stuff, it not only didn't curl them, but it made them straighter than if i had no mascara on at all. i know this isn't marketed to curl lashes, but i certainly didn't expect them to be stick straight either. and, to take it a step further, everytime i applied it, it seemed to straighten like every other lash. so, i ended up with jaggedy, clumpy looking lashes. not so good. the one good thing about this mascara, however, is that it does not flake at all. seriously, after a twelve hour day i have not one single black flake under my eye. i love that about it, however not enough to buy it again. skip this mascara and go for lash blast...in fact, just skip all avon mascaras cuz they all suck.

Great Product - can't beat the price. Not perfect - but does not leave "raccoon" eyes nearly as bad as other mascara's I've tried. Does require a little more time & effort to remove when cleansing & a few more coats when applying. I consider this mascara a winner!

i was skeptical at first to buy this. i was wanting the cover girl lash blast, since i heard nothing but good things about it. so when i came across the avon superSHOCK i thought, well its at a very good price and its similar in wand style not excatly the same like the cover girl wand and so i decided to try it. I am so GLAD I did. It is really amazing, it does excatly as what it describes. the length on your lashes are like wow, no clumps, no fallout, no fading. to me its the best mascara i found.

I just tried this mascara, and I'm giving it a big thumbs up. As other MUers have said here, the tube and brush are HUGE...more like a big comb than a brush to me. This mascara does an excellent job of separating my lashes and lengthening. I am not getting lots of fullness from superSHOCK, but I am getting some nice length. I also like the consistency, because I prefer a wetter mascara. Plus the price is downright cheap. This isn't a HG mascara for me, but I will definitely repurchase.

I usually don't like Avon products, but sometimes I still like to try the new products when they're on sale. I have only used this mascara a couple times, but so far I really like it. It adds TONS of volume!! It's the first mascara that really makes my lashes look thicker and more full. It also separates them fairly well. The huge brush is a little hard to use, but I think I'll get used to it as I use it more. My lashes are already pretty long and I've never used an eyelash curler in my life even though everyone says it looks like I do. So what I look for in mascara is one that will volumize, and this mascara does! I can't comment on lengthening or curling. Everything works differently for different people, but I would recommend trying this mascara, especially for such a low price.

UPDATE: No, I will not buy this again! I like the volumizing, but the brush is just too awkward and big to get the corner lashes, it clumps unless you twist the brush just right, but the main reason is because it leaves black under my eyebrows. My eyelashes touch the skin underneath my eyebrows and after only an hour I have black smudges all over. Very annoying.

I bought this on sale, thinking it would be like Lash Blast...it really isn't, unless you count the huge bulky tube, though at least it isn't ugly orange! The brush is, if possible, bigger than the Lash Blast brush, but not tapered like Lash Blast, so application isn't as easy. The formula is wetter, and goes on clumpier. You really need to wipe the brush off before applying, and even then, it doesn't go on as nice, I needed to comb my lashes afterwards.

It definately makes your lashes long, though it doesn't seem to do much volumizing in 2 coats. I didn't want to add any more coats, two was enough work!! As for length, my lashes are already long, so I am not sure if it adds length or just covers what you have. I THINK it just covers what you have. It does wear well, no flaking on smudging, but then I don't have too many mascaras that do that on me. If you don't mind brushing/combing out the clumps, this is the mascara for you.

All in all, there are better mascaras for the $4.99 sale price I paid, I definately would not pay the higher full price. ($7.99?) I would say this is only a bargain if it is for sale at a $1.99. The avon Daring Curves mascara is much better in my opinion, or my current favorite, Lash Blast.

I agree with everyone, this brush is so huge as to be comical. I actually laughed out loud when I saw it! But it really doesn't make a difference in the application I think. I really like the volumizing on this, but if you're like me and have straight lashes, you'll def need a curler (try the heated one from Trim). When I don't curl my lashes, this mascara makes them stick straight out from my lids so a curler was a good investment. Overall I like this, and it's pretty cheap right now because it just came out!
