This product saved my hair! Absolutely a must if you have damaged hair. I have double processed hair- lightened overall then highlighted on top. My hair was so dameage I thought I was going to have to cut off (was hopelessly damaged). Did the following treatement for every night for 2 weeks straight and it saved my hair. Shampooed with Loreal Color Vive, coated my hair with Emergencee, Put a shower cap on and applied heat (used my mom's old fashioned cap hair dryer) for 30 minutes then applied Natures Therapy Mega Moisture Deep conditioner (available at Sally's). Slept with conditioner overhight with showercap on then rinsed in morning. Now my hair is 100% better and I only do this treatment once a week now to maintain. P.S. you can get Emergencee at Ulta for $14.00. A little pricy but worth its weight in gold!

This is SOOO expensive but worth every penny. I am Black and have relaxed hair. This product is great whenever I have breakage which seems to happen peridoically along my hairline, especially around the temple area. If I use this treatment consistently every week for about two months I find that my hair will start to grow again. Additionally, it strengthens my hair and prevents additional shedding or breakage. I would definitely recommend this product for damaged hair. But remember, this is not a conditioner, so you must follow up use of this product with some sort of moisturizing, detangling conditioner.

If you go to www.lancerlabs.com you can find an identical product at a much better price. It's called "The Ultimate Molecular Reconstructor". They also have some great hair care info!

This is a very awesome treatment for dry, damaged hair. I used this once for the first time today and I am extremely happy that I bought it. First, I shampooed, then I put the Emergencee on and put on a plastic cap. I then took my blowdryer and applied heat for a good 10 minutes then hopped back into the shower and used Humectress conditioner. My hair was sooooo incredibly soft. I would recommend it to all!

This is expensive but if you use heat, chemicals and color your hait then I definitely recommend it. It has done wonders on my hair and unlike that stinky Aphogee, the process is not that bad at all. It also helps that it has multiple uses, you can use it as a pre treatment before relaxing your hair and you can use it on your nails has a strengthener.

Yes. It works. But it's such a pain to use!! I hate the whole ritual of shampoo, rinse, then this - apply heat - then rinse, and follow with conditioner, and rinse... I think this stuff needs heat to work: I used it in the sauna a couple of times and noticed a difference. Of course I haven't got a sauna where I live now! Bummer.

Wow, I'm experiencing great results with this product. My hair's been going through the mid-winter blah's, and I wanted to do something to moisturize and revive my hair after a recent coloring. Granted, I've only done one treatment so far, but my hair feels like I just came home from the salon - smooth, silky, healthy. I'm planning on doing this once a week, until I finish this (tiny) bottle. Then I'll likely repurchase.

Chiming in with the crowd that loves this product! My fine thin hair was damaged by a relaxer, lots of breakage and loss :-(

Here's how I use it - wash hair with standard shampoo, then apply. I do have to differ with other gals here, in that I find I need to use a LOT of it... it is slimy, but hard to spread. So I use a lot. Also, I do NOT comb it when it's in... I feel that would stretch the hair. Just use enough to massage in all over your hair.
Then, a real key is to shampoo it out - not just rinse it. The package says to do this but I missed it the first time! So, shampoo it out, then deep condition with something like Nature's Therapy Mega Moisture for 10 minutes with heat. Then, rinse finally.

Air dry your hair and it will be soft silky and feel new again. My horrid, horrid hair actually looks bouncy and sexy today. Who would have thunk?

I do realize it's not protein, so on the advice of others here I may alternate this with a protein treatment of some kind.

Love this! Helps my thin, fine hair and gives it some strength. Will definately repurchase. Best protein treatment out there in my opinion. I follow up with Nexxus Humectress or All Soft and have soft healthy looking hair. Will repurchase!

Ah, Nexxus, my first love :) I had been using Keraphix, but found that Emergencee was better for my hair. Emergencee is a clear orange-brown, thick gel-like polymer reconstructor with a slippery consistency. I think it is decently priced since it gives great results and you really don't need a lot to cover your whole head (I have medium thickness, bra strap length hair, when wet, shrinks when dry). I use it under a plastic cap and with heat for 15-20 minutes and follow with Nexxus Humectress for about 30-45 minutes with no heat (always deep condition after using a protein treatment!! it adds moisture back into your hair, otherwise it will feel like straw). Man oh man is my hair soft afterwards!! I love how it feels!! It is less frizzy, stronger, and easy to manage. You can tell the difference after one use. I don't have chemically treated hair, but since it is dry and curly this routine is great for keeping it healthy. I will be purchasing as long as Nexxus keeps making it :)

Ever since I began coloring my baby fine, medium-thick, wavy hair years ago it has a terrible tendency to become a frizzy, straw-like mess. Oh, how I longed to be one of those gals with nice wash'n'go hair...instead of one who has to constantly pile on products and style to the Nth degree to get hair to not look like a) frizzed out mop if not enough conditioning or b)a greazy, stringy mess from too much conditioning. At last, true hope long since gone, I stumbled onto MUA...and after reading reviews on this decided to give it a try. Oh. MY. GOODNESS!!!! Why had I never heard of this before?!?! After the first use, which I did the shower cap/heat thing followed by a very moisturizing conditioner, I couldn't BELIEVE the difference. And it just keeps getting better and better. I no longer hold my breath when combing my hair, where I used to wince at every "snap-crackle-pop" of the fine strands breaking - this stuff just WORKS. After almost 3 months of using this once a week and alternating with a protein treatment (tried Joico's and Redken's thus far) I have wash'n'go hair. I can let it air dry, and it is shiny, smooth, and bouncy with almost all flyaways eliminated. Now, while I almost had a coronary when I first saw the teensy size of the $20 bottle, don't let that scare you. With my bra-strap length hair and 1x a week use I'm still working on my first bottle...so it's well worth the money and seems to last quite awhile. Thank you Nexxus!!!

What can I say... I almost gave myself a chemical hair cut. And I mean all the way down to the roots. This summer I had done major considerable damage to my already highlighted and "bleached out at the ends" hair. I made the deadly error of going dark brunette. I honestly couldn't get used to it, and after three months of not recognizing myself in the mirror I decided that I needed to go back to blonde. Making a long story short.... I have bleached out my hair like 5 times in the past 6 months & I had to cut off like three to four inches. And I'm talking major all over damage. My hair just went to over cooked spaghetti mush. Somehow because of this product, I still have hair on my head. It made my hair stronger and more pliable. I realize this is a god send. I noticed that it really does make a big difference. Considering all the damage and bleaching my hair still "looks" healthy. It is largely because I use this product "Emergencee", Keraphix and Goldwell's Kerasilk Ultra Rich Care Conditioner. These three products together put my hair back into "decent" shape. I am such a "hair hopper" and because of these products I don't have to wear a wig or shave off my hair. :) Thank god for Nexxus! Nexxus ~ Emergencee is just what the doctor ordered!

Since moving to the desert southwest I've had to change the way I style my hair. Letting it air dry a lot, using velcro rollers, I highlight less. and still my hair looks just ok. So I bought this based on the reviews here and I'm really impressed with this treatment. My hair is silky and soft again. It feels incredible actually. I will try Keraphix next and hopefully that will replace Redken CAT which doesnt do much for my hair, and alternate between the 2 treatments. Update: my stylist asked what i was doing to my hair to make it so soft and healthy. she was really impressed. i guess over time this product just makes your hair look healthier and healthier! pretty cool huh? =)

No doubt that this is the best hair product on the market. I switch from this one(polymeric reconstructor) to deep fuel (protėin reconstructor). It makes my color treated hair super.
I think 4 lippies is enough, because it is very difficult to comb thru (when your hair is damaged and that's what its for) en sometimes i think that i am pulling my hair out! Performancewise is this the best!
(sorry for bad English but i'm from Belgium)
