The colours are fantastic! However i found that afta a month the nail varnish will go slimey! which means i couldnt use them anymore :(

This stuff is great it's dirt cheap and comes in some fun colors. It's about average though when it comes to chipping and peeling. I have it in mania and zenith. These are both great and a have a shimmery color change effect.

I bought a bottle of "Ethereal" over the summer.I love the color, it looked great with my tan. Actually, I've been using it since the summer, and it looks great with or without a tan!. I also tried the shade "Grape Sorbet" which looked gorgeous in the botle, but was all wrong for my complexion. My only complaint is that I find it a bit thick, and it isn't as shiny without a clear topcoat. But, the price is awesome (Only $1.99 at Walmart) and I can afford to experiment with other colors. The small bottle is adorable!

These polishes are great. I've bought a few now and at $1.97 a bottle probably won't switch to anything else. I've always used Orly bit this is just as good IMO. The bottles are small which is fine because I don't think I've ever made it through a whole bottle of polish before it went bad. And they are easy to take with you because they are so compact. The cover really lasts and it goes on smooth. For me the cover is thick enough you only need one coat. The color selection is wonderful-there are plenty of fun colors to choose from. And the 60 second thing is true, my nail were completely try within 60 secs if not sooner!

After a year of doing nothing with my nails I decided that I once again wanted some color in my life. In the past I have had both acrylic and natural nails. At the present time I maintain a busy schedule and can't make it to the salon every 2 weeks for a fill, so I decided to go with natural nails and do them myself. I have been an OPI aholic in the past, but got tired of spending top dollar just to toss the bottles because I bought so many colors I couldn't use them all. After reading the reviews, Rimmel seemed like the answer with numerous colors, smaller bottles and very reasonable prices. I purchased the Base Coat and Ridge Filler, Ethereal, and the Faster Chip Proof Top Coat. I applied on Sunday and by Wedneday afternoon I had several large chips. However, the color was beautiful and the products applied easily and dried quickly. Despite the fact polish didn't last as well as I hoped (perhaps it was my application technique as I am out of practice) I will give these products another try due in large part to the ease of application and reduced drying time and the very attractive cost. Edited 11/12/2003 - This polish doesn't last well for me. Chips after just a couple of days even with a 2nd application of top coat. However, you can do a nice polish job in less than 15 minutes, it sets quickly and therefore I will continue to purchase as they have a variety of nice colors and the price if right. However, then I need something long lasting I will look elsewhere.

This is one of the best polishes IMO for the price. I don't have a problem with chipping like I do with many other polishes that I use. It also dries super fast, although I don't really know if it literally dries in 60 seconds. The color selection is great also. It's hard to not to find a color I like.

I adore Rimmel polishes! The colours are fun and pretty, and the formula is unbeatable. This dries pretty quickly, and lasts for days and days with a topcoat. I especially love the Stars range- the sparkly shades are just beautiful.
Age: 19-24 Skin: Very Oily Hair: Blond Eyes: Blue
This polish wears very well for the price. They come in a huge variety of fun, trendy colors that seem to live up to their "60 Seconds" claim. Best of all, they are cheap enough to pick up a few bottles at a time, which makes it nice when you're indecisive about which color to pick!

I think I have found myself a new favorite nail polish brand. This is my second bottle. The first was this scary pearlescent lime green and this other is a girly pink with silver sparkles. The main thing that I love is that they dry really fast just as promised and are hardy and chip-proof even after washing dishes and housecleaning. The colors are hip as mentioned previously and they are dirt cheap! Fantastic product!

I am so tickled with this nailpolish! I got it in the new Star stuff they have out right now in Movie Star, and it's better than I'm Not Really A Waitress. It has more sparkle for a pedicure, and for the little black dress would be perfect on fingers (although I'm conservative sometimes) it's new though, so it's 2.97, not 1.97.
Cool strawberry red with silver sparkle, similar to Wet Shine Diamonds

These are great polishes, and you can't get much cheaper than this. Well Wet n Wild is probably cheaper, but I haven't been very impressed with the quality of the Wet n Wild polishes I've tried. Rimmel on the other hand costs about $3 at my Wal Mart and I feel I definitely get my money's worth. For me these dry in about 60 seconds as advertised. Staying power isn't that great but I find that none of the quick-drying polishes have good staying power. These have a short brush that is easy to work with and picks up the right amount of polish. I'm not good at applying nail polish but even I find that these are fairly foolproof and quick to apply. There is a wide variety of shades available, from more conservative pinks to wilder colors with glittery and metallic shades, too. This line is a great option for trying out funkier shades without paying OPI or Urban Decay prices to do it.

I love Rimmel Nail Polishes cuz they are so unique. I've noticed they carry your basic matte, pearly, sparkly and duochrome colours. The matte ones to me are kind of boring ( and they also have a tendency to dry semi matte ) so I haven't tried them. But the sparkly and duochrome colours are out of this world! I have Girl Power (a pretty sheer pink with silver sparkle),Potion (a gold burnished red that has a slight green sheen to it depending on how the light strikes, perfect for the toes) and Euphoria (a taupe that flashes a pinkish sheen depending on the angle, perfect for the fingers). All of them are easy to apply, and don't chip until day 5 with a topcoat. The duochromes in particular add interest to the line. Will be watching out for more.

Superb quality - liquid color in a bottle! Lasts for a week without chipping, dries fast and a great selection of colors. Too bad I can't wear NP to work.
Age: 18 & Under Skin: Combination Hair: Brown Eyes: Brown
This has amazing power! After one week, it still wouldn't chip. What I don't like with this is that it still looks beautiful so I feel guilty about taking it off to put on anyother color.

This is my favorite nailpolish...at only 1.97 a bottle, and gorgeous, interesting shades, what's NOT to like?!??! Staying power is decent, and can be improved greatly by a pricier topcoat. No more OPI for me,they have priced themselves right out of my life, ever since I discovered Rimmel. Some of my fav, and recommended to you, colors are- Stop Traffic,Out Of Control,Jelly Babe,Sweet AS,and Goldspun Coral.

Great nail polish. The colors are bright and shiny and look great on my nails. This dries fast, is cheap and doesn't chip easily. By far my favorite nail polish!
Age: 25-29 Skin: Combination Hair: Brown Eyes: Green
I have Potion-orange/red w/ greenish shimmer, Shocking- a violet/blue shimmer, Siberia- minty green/gray (looks surprisingly good on nails), and Pulsating-hot, hot, shimmery fuscia. I love them all, they do dry sort of matte, but I always use a topcoat, so that takes care of that.
Age: 18 & Under Skin: Combination, Fair-Medium, Warm Hair: Brown, Straight, Medium Eyes: Black
I bought this in a department store because the colour really caught my eye - I have a bottle in "Ethereal", which is a creamy-shimmery light pink. This was probably the first nail colour I used other than clear, and I was impressed with how smooth it went on. I applied a base coat, two coats of this, and a top coat, and it looked great!
Even with the top coat, one of them chipped the next day though. But I'm guessing maybe because I missed a spot at the tip or something, but it didn't happen again next time.
After using it three times or so, it started to clump and thicken, but it doesn't take much effort to put a few drops of thinner in. It worked well after!
Great quality, great colours, I would definitely buy this again in other different colours. The price was VERY cheap (only $3.77 CDN), meaning I can probably buy the whole line with one month's worth of allowance! ;)

The colours are quite great, but it dries matte and not as quickly as i would prefer. certainly is streaky tho. I'll buy it again tho, hey cheap nailpolish with nice colours is hard to come across! lol
Age: 19-24 Skin: Normal, Fair-Medium, Neutral Hair: Brown, Wavy, Medium Eyes: Brown
I love these polishes! IMO, they are *very* similar to the quality of OPI :) They're gorgeous and shiny, thickly pigmented, and long wearing :) With a good topcoat, my pretty painted nails and toenails look fabulous for up to a week! ~Impressive!~ What I love the most is the *huge* and unique color selection Rimmel offers :) :) :)
