Fit my skin tone perfectly, but the product itself is a little oddly-textured. But, it is a very good foundation and I would definitely buy it again.

I had to switch foundations when I realized that MAC's lightest shade was STILL too dark for me. I didn't want to play fast and loose with trying new foundations, so I went to the drugstore. I picked up this one because I've been using MAC's foundation pump with their foundations and couldn't bring myself to not have one again, lol. The lightest shade is PERFECT for my skintone. It sinks into my skin so nicely. Will re-purchase!

OMG, thank you MUA folks for reviewing and recommending this product! After reading the positive reviews a few months back, I picked up a bottle since I wasn't completely happy with my Revlon ColorStay foundation (which has the staying power, but might've been breaking me out). I am so happy with Almay's Truly Lasting Color foundation. I got it in Buff, which is what I wear in ColorStay, and the color match is great. The pump squirts out just the right amount, and keeps the foundation nice and fresh in its glass bottle. I think they used glass because plastic can affect the purity of its contents, right?

Anyway, the foundation goes on smoothly and only needs a little finger blending. I just use it on red/uneven spots on my face and it blends in perfectly. It also stays fairly well, yet still washes right off with my bar of Dove soap. My one suggestion is to exfoliate regularly since all foundations tend to cling to dead, rough skin. I will continue to use this foundation for as long as they make it!

This foundation has great coverage and really does last. I used a primer underneath and all over bronzing powder on top and it looked great all day.
The texture is really nice and blends easily. I really, really like this stuff!

I have tried foundations from Chanel to Bobbi Brown and have been using Jane Iredale Amazing Base for 3-4 years. Sometimes, I like to have a liquid foundation to alternate with my mineral powder. I love this foundation. It has great staying power, does not fade throughout the day and gives me a nice, light, natural finish. It's not mask-like at all. My sensitive skin really agrees with this. I highly recommend this product.

Pros: Lasting, though not *truly*. I'd say when paired with an ultra-matte foundation primer (I like Smashbox Anti-shine), this liquid foundation has the staying power of up to 7 hours, with only occasional needs to blot); Relatively natural looking finish with medium coverage; Does not dry out the skin or make the skin feel chalky and powdery with long-term use; Cheap; Does not contain known irritants; Is highly recommended by Paula Begoun; Has sufficient built-in SPF

Cons: Peachy undertone for most shades (Sand and Warm are good for medium skin tones, but are just a bit on the pink side); Glass packaging; Not as matte and long wearing as some other ultra-matte liquid foundations; Removing it takes some effort, I like to use a lotion-based makeup remover and a cotton pad first, then rinse thoroughly with a water-soluable cleanser and a washcloth; Can appear cakey and magnify your dry areas when re-touched and layered throughout the day

My skin type: dry, very oily t-zone, large pores and prone to blackheads, some flaky areas

So, I am back to using Almay's TLC foundation...I seem to always be going back to it after trying other expensive foundations that just end up breaking me out horribly with cystic pimples (no fun!). I've tried MUFE HD (love the coverage, but gave me breakouts). I've also tried several from Lancome and most recently Revlon's Colorstay (which I was really starting to love until it broke me out with cystic pimples after a month). This foundation by Almay is made with ingredients I can trust. I'm not totally sold on the coverage, but when I finish the look with Maybelline's Dream Matte powder, it does the job. When you start breaking out from a foundation, go to Almay! While their coverage isn't the best, it is what I constantly go back to after using other foundations which have clogged my skin.

They finally got smart with a pump! This foundation is one of my favorites. It looks so natural when I apply it with a damp sponge. I get compliments on how clear my skin looks when I wear it. Best of all though, it really does last a long time! It doesn't rub off or feel cakey.. ever! :D It is a little bit pricey for a drug store foundation, but its worth the money! I will be repurchasing until the day its discontinued.

Ah, I am so happy with this product. Years ago, the only foundation I would wear was Almay Amazing Lasting in Buff. Which of course, the discontinued with NO new alternative in their line. I did along the way find some pretty great foundations ( Colorstay, Double Wear, BE, to name a few), but kind of always longed for what I had with Amazing Lasting. With other products, I needed a good primer underneath. I didn't even know that Almay had come out with this product, until I saw a poll on the makeup board and two people gave this product as their foundation of choice. Well, I hustled over to Walgreens, picked up the shade Buff and am thrilled that I did!

I don't think this is the same old Amazing Lasting formula, but my skin also isn't what it was years ago when I was wearing Amazing Lasting either. Buff is still my shade. It is pretty yellow, but I rely on yellow in my foundations to counteract ruddiness in my face. Naturally, my face and neck do not match, but with this foundation they do. I even checked it with my OTT Light True Color craft lamp, lol. It simulates full spectrum light, and YEP--- it matches me great. Wears well, doesn't accentuate lines and large pores. Drugstore foundations are getting more expensive, but they still are one half to one third the cost of their department store counterparts.

I am soooo happy to be back with Almay. It almost makes me feel young again! :)

I was not impressed! I have a hard time spending money on drug store foundation, but I thought I would give this one a spin. I think it's a little pricey, and the coverage was nothing to write home about. It finished very chalky, and totally accentuated my pores. I removed it within 5 minutes of application. Hopefully I can return it!

Foundation is one of those beauty products that I hate buying and wearing, but an almost necessary one to even out my skin tone. So I began my search and was looking for a good, everyday, lightweight foundation with good coverage that didn't make me break out and/or feel like I painted my face with oil pastels, but that would last all day. This one I found after reading several reviews and I LOVE it! It is very light and doesn't irritate my skin at all. The coverage is medium-light, but can be buildable without looking overdone and lasted for hours without looking oily. My only suggestion would be that the company create more of a color spectrum. I happened to find a perfect match, but my friend didn't have the same luck!

It has been so hard to find a foundation that doesn't irritate my skin or make me break out, as well as has the staying power when I'm out all day. This is that foundation! I had been using BE and EM, but it made my face look cakey towards the end of the day. I want a foundation that makes me look better and natural, and not made up.

The only problem I have with the product is the color... I initially purchased Neutral, but it was too dark and orange (I have light/medium skin with yellow undertones). I purchased Buff upon recommendation from the reviews here, but it's too light. It does work when I mix the two, apply EM concealer over blemishes, and then I finish with Mineral Veil from BE. I may try purchasing Naked next time, and mixing that with Buff. I've gotten a ton of compliments on my skin, no more cakey mess, and no new pimples!

I was in the lookout for a replacement for Revlon colorstay, so i decided to give this a shot. THe color is a perfect match, and i love the consistency. The coverage is build able, and doesn't look unnatural. The best thing about it was that it stayed on all day. I didn't get oily at all, and the color didn't change colors. I will be buying this again.

I went ahead and said that I would buy this product again, but that is only under the condition that the next shade I try does not turn me white. I have had several friends try this, and they have all said that the foundation shade they used looked perfect for their skin tone, but turned them 2 or 3 shades lighter than the foundation. We all used the same color, 01 Ivory...but we are all palies to begin with, we don't need any help with turning white. LOL. I can say that it is a nice coverage, and for the price you can't really beat it. I can also say that for me, it has not really caused a massive breakout, and that is most certainly a deciding factor for me! I plan on switching to either Clinique or Sheshiedo after this bottle is gone to see if there is really a huge difference in the quality and coverage of department store makeup and drug store makeup...I am sure there is, but you never know! The coverage of this foundation is swell, and it blends well with my concealer. This is a good one too keep on hand!

I love this foundation. I used Almay foundation when I was in high school and my skin was great. I have this awful colored NC 40 skin tone. My skin is yellow/greenish/ slightly pink. I always have the hardest time finding foundation that is not pink but not too yellow or orange. I have this in sand and I love it. Sticky at first, blends well, SPF, & my skin looks great. I mean it glows! Plus i live in the deep south so we have humidity in the middle of our "winter" & this stuff stays on all day! Love It. Oh, and it never gets muddy or oxidizes to an orange color. I have had that prob with alot of makeup. Def my HG! Oh and the only thing I dont like about the packaging is the glass bottle. Plastic would be easier to travel with. Will buy for as long as they make this stuff!

Let me first start by saying that my skin is very very freckly. I have naturally rosy cheeks, not caused by rosacea or other skin issues. My derm has told me the only way to get rid of the red is to have a laser treatment. I picked this up on a whim after watching a youtube tutorial. I usually wear tinted moisturizer, or little bit of powder in the day time. I had given up on finding the perfect liquid foundation years ago. I really like this stuff. The consistency is a little strange, however I like it. It comes in a little pump, and I really like that. I really don't need a full coverage so I mix this with my Olay age regenerist. My skin looks almost perfect when I do this. It is dewy, but not greasy. And incredibly smooth looking. I'm so glad I found something that works for me.

My HG! "Buff" is a great golden fair shade, just not pale enough for me, as I am very pale (I am an NC15 in SFF for reference). "Ivory" is light enough, but a little too pink, so I just mix "Buff" and "Ivory" together half and half, and I get a PERFECT color match! The texture of this does irk me a bit...it feels so sticky at first, but once I blend it with a sponge, the end result is SO natural looking and it feels so light on my face, I can totally overlook the initial stickiness. This foundation can give anywhere from light-full coverage, depending on how it's applied, so I like it's versatility. The finish is natural matte, but not drying, and works well in both winter and summer (and I have combo mostly oily/dry skin). This looks way more natural than any other makeup I've tried, and more than Revlon's Colorstay. My breakout prone skin has cleared up so much from using this, and my complexion looks much healthier and even toned. Also, I don't know how this does it, but I get WAY less oily throughout the day, yet it isn't drying at all??! The thing that makes this a winner though, is the fact that it has a physical SPF15 (tit. dioxide, zinc oxide), since SPF is important to me but chemical SPFs totally break me out. Also, the pump is so convenient and sanitary. UPDATE: Love this even more, the longer I use it! Nothing can compare to this foundation...it's absolutely perfect, and I'd pay 3 times as much for it!!!

I really really like this concealer! The main reason why I bought it was because the bottle was really cute and slim and it came with a pump dispenser. It blends into my skin very well and I've been told that my face looks brighter and that it looks like I'm not wearing any makeup. (I apply it using a cosmetic sponge btw.) Definitely a must-try!

I've been searching for a long lasting foundation with good coverage and I can't seem to find it anywhere. My problem with this foundation and other lasting foundations is the way it turns to powder after you put it on. I liked the coverage, the colour and the way it lasted all day. But around my nose, chin and forehead it would turn powdery after an hour or two. My cheeks always look great, smooth and flawless and doesn't look like I'm wearing makeup, but if I were to blush or get flushed it looks really strange. My skin would be red/pink but the make up is sitting on top, all powdery and light looking. I wouldn't repurchase especially at the price, $16 CDN, and it only lasted a month and a half! One good thing is its easy to wash off at night, not like Revlon Colorstay, which was a much better foundation but I could not get it off my skin!
