I'm on my second little jar, and I have to say, it is the best eye product I have ever used. I've had dark circles all my life, my eyes squint up a lot when I smile, and I'm beginning to inherit my dad's undereye bags, so suffice it to say I'm a bit touchy about my eye area! I just think that, come morning, I look better when I use this product the night before. I decided to stray awhile back and try to use up my remaining La Prairie eye cream, but after a few days ran screaming back to my La Mer. My laugh lines are softer, my circles are softer and my bags aren't quite so terrifying. It does sting like a mother, though, so be careful when applying!

My only eye concern is wrinkling. I seldom get puffiness and when I have makeup on, especially a good concealer, dark circles are not my problem. Though I would say I have less wrinkles than average for my age, 58, I want to lesson their appearance as much as possible and to that end, I'm always trying the "next" product that will make these damn wrinkles less noticeable.

I've been using CdLM since it came out. I agree with the CdLM lovers who say the only worthwhile product in the line is the original cream. This is a little better than the balm, but not worth the $$. I don't see any difference between just putting on CdLM under my eyes or putting this on underneath. Without the original cream on top, this does nothing much to minimize the appearance of lines under makeup. At night, I use Renova every other night with nothing on top. Alternate nights, I use CdLM everywhere on my face and throat. If I'm not to tired, I apply the Eye Concentrate underneath. I haven't seen any difference, so I will not repurchase.

I have to agree with the review below. I was so excited to try this and never have any problems with eye creams burning or irritating my eyes, but this one HURTS! I am not sure why. I have been using it anyway for about a week to see if it delivers results and so far I haven't seen anything remarkable. Oh well. I will stick to my Darphin line.

Just tried this for the first time. Luckily it was a sample. Two minutes after applying it, my eyes started burning and tearing up. Couldn't stop until I washed it off. Going to stick with my Jo Malone Green Tea & Honey for 1/3 the price!

I love this product..Got a sample a few weeks ago. But Paula Begoun
says that one does not need a eye cream, but you can use your face
moisturizer as your eye cream. Is this true.

Update: Sorta over it, but I am not really into *any* eye cream out there, so...

Original review: *love*. Especially the wand. Firstly, do NOT put the product in the fridge. That being said, i love this eye concentrate but i don't understand why i am supposed to use a moisturizer on top of it. Why don't they just make an eye concentrate with moisturizer. ?? Anyway, apparently it's supposed to counteract aging, just like most eye creams. Supposed to fight lines and dark circles. Whatever ingredients are in it that are supposed to help my skins cellular structure seem very nice. the skin under my eyes looks nice and even. and the wand is so soothing and feels so nice. Even left at room tempature the wand gets cool and feels great under the eyes. The cream is expensive though, $160, but it will last you a loooong time. You're supposed to put it on twice a day, and the great thing is that because it's so expensive, and because the wand is so nice to use, i actually end up using it twice a day. That's one of the nice things about la mer, the textures are excellent, the feel so nice going on the skin, and leave the skin feeling so great so it makes it easy to enjoy using them. I think that will make the most difference to my skin, having a regimen i love. btwn this, the lifting serum, and the moisturizer, my skin looks very nice right now.

I have been a La Mer eye balm devotee for years. It made my creepy eye lid skin completly taut again . I really like this new concentrate, but I prefer the slip and texture of the eye balm to this one. Either way, they are both great products!

THIS IS THE BEST EYE PRODUCT I HAVE EVER USED! I have tried them all from $5 to $200. This is the ONLY product that has minimized my dark circles almost entirely! I hated the eye balm, thought it sucked. What is critical about this product is the wand that pushes the dark blood out of the undereye area. The only con is it needs more moisture...yah yah I know youre supposed to put the balm or creme over it, but besides that I will cough up the $150, truly an effective, does what it says it will, product. CHANGED MY FACE! By the way the wand is NOT GIMMICKY. It does have magnetic properties; and magnetic therapy is used for rehabilitation in humans and equines especially in sports therapy. It promotes blood flow, ie increased circulation, oxygen etc. TIP- leave the creme and wand in the fridge.

I have always like the regular eye balm by La Mer (see my review). I wasn't totally sure what the point of this Concentrate was, but now that I've bought it, I can tell. Why the regular balm is a refreshing treatment, this one is more moisturizing. And I love the smell (as I do with most La Mer products). I am undecided if I will use this for day once I run out of my current day treatment (Laura Mercier which was a very kind gift from the makeup artist at my local Nordstroms, also a fab find) but will definitely continue using this at night.
