Lovelovelove this product! I use it at night, since first thing in the morning I need something a little more scrubby, but at night this is perfect to remove day-grime, soothe and close my pores, and freshen my face for the night. It's odd stuff, and sometimes hard to get out of the packaging, but it's really really worth it as a cleaner. Soothing, gentle enough for sensitive skin (like mine!) and yet cleans like mad. The only complaint is that it comes in a flimsy plastic tin that doesn't do anything for my bathroom!

This stuff does not take makeup off at all. It is nice to use in the shower in the morning however. Leaves my skin feeling clean and refreshed without drying it out. Wouldn't buy again because I prefer a cleanser I can use morning and night. This seems more of a novelty than anything else.

This is one of the best cleansers I've ever used- but it's so hard to get out of the package! You have to pull it like taffy to get enough on your fingers to rub on your face. And even then, it's almost like a mask rather than a cleanser.
Still, nothing else I've ever used has left my skin so soft! It's really good at removing light makeup, too. (I wouldn't try it on eyeshadow or lipstick, though.) I really love this stuff, even if the packaging isn't the best.

I really do like this. It was recommended to me by a sales assistant after I lamented my weird-ass winter skin, with a congested t-zone but dry irritated patches from using face scrubs.
It smells a little funky at first - I think it must be the seaweed. In fact, I don't really see the *point* of the seaweed as it does nothing to cleanse and just sticks in my hairline. But nevertheless, the pink goo is satisfying squidgy and cleanses very thoroughly.
After a month or two of daily use my blackheads look a little smaller, and the irritated patches have completely gone (hurrah!). I plan to repurchase and my only gripes are the seaweed and the damn Lush packaging...!

This smells nasty.I do walk away from the sink vaguely feeling like I need to wash my face. Too bad, because it's freaky cool looking and all natural. But oh, the smell... it's like a bucket of ocean water that's sat in the corner of a dark closet all summer. Update: Well, I have to take some of this back. I'm cheap, so I continued to use the product, and even though I still despise the smell, for the first time in a year or so (since I started having a hard time with acne out of the blue) I have clear skin with rarely any monthly breakouts. Good stuff, and yes, I reordered. I think you just have to get used to the application of this- a little bit with warm water goes a long way, and you have to rinse a few times.

Very weird - strange smell, strange texture, but I like it! Leaves my face soft & smooth and slightly mattified. I use a facecloth to remove it 'cause it is a bit of a pain to just splash away. No problems with breakouts here. My only complaint is please PLEASE do something about the nasty packaging!

The only thing about this lovely product that I dislike is the packaging. It comes in a flimsy plastic container and it's in a weird roll, so you have to dig it out with your fingers. But other than that, I LOVE it!! It's worth dealing with the packaging! It smells so comforting and soothing, and the second it touches my skin, my skin feels great. Leaves my face soft, smooth, never dried out. A new staple.

I loved this product at first, because it was so soothing and fun to use. However, after a couple of weeks it made me break out and I had to swap it. It's a shame, because it really contains excellent ingredients.

I got this as a GWP when I bought tons of other Lushies. Hmmm... a very peculiar cleanser, but the kaolin does work to tighten the skin a tad, and the glycerine base helps cleanse the skin without drying. It's not effective for deep-cleansing or makeup removal. It's a novelty for me, and I don't think I'd buy it, but I will use up what I have - the fragrance is soothing and lovely.

This is my most favourite AM cleanser to date. It is such a pleasure to use, it smells like something from my childhood (probably calamine lotion!) and it is very soothing containing calamine powder. It is surfactant free which I like. In the am it does a great job of calming my skin after showering which makes it all tan looking. It also helps to mattify my oily in places skin as it has kaolin. Overall I love this! Hoever I cant use it pm as it doesnt remove s/s so I use my green people cleanser then. Update - perhaps a tad drying for winter, tho i will be sure to remember it come summer.

I have very oily skin and I found that this product didn't clean my skin well enough. I can't use it as a daily cleanser because it will make me breakout. It is funny stuff though.

I like the effects I have after using Aqua Marina. It's an odd sort of texture in the pot an looks really hard to use but infact it's quite simple. I tend to grab a fingernail amount from the pot and mix a little water with it in the palm of my hand and rub it around the whole of my face.
It's very squidgy and soft and contains a layer of seaweed all around it. I tend to use this once or twice a week. It leaves my oily/spot prone skin soft an removes all oil from my skin due to the seaweed.

I've been using the Aquamarina cleanser once a day for several days now, and I'm quite impressed (shall update if anything goes wonky, however). My skin is breakout-prone and combo, but tending towards dehydrated at the moment - this neither leaves my skin greasy, nor dry, but surprisingly soft and lightly moisturized. I believe it's the least stripping (non-oil) cleanser I've used thus far. It's also quite soothing (calamine, aloe), and lovely to use when my skin is feeling particularly sensitive. Certainly, it's not the most standard cleanser; 'tis wobbly pink goo wrapped up in seaweed which melts when applied to a wet face and smells a mite odd, but I like it lots for the AM, when makeup removal isn't an issue (I would rate the MU-removing capability of Aquamarina about on par with Cetaphil cleanser). The ingredient list is in the first review; the cleanser contains no harsh detergents, has some presumably mineral-laden seaweed - carrageenan can be comedogenic, btw, but isn't in my case - has some kaolin clay to help with oil, glycerine as a humectant, sweet orange oil (may be antifungal) and patchouli oil (antibacterial, anti-anxiety). It does also contain fragrance, which might be problematic for some, but not I. Oh, and this is also listed, with a few reviews, under "Aquamarina" in the LUSH cleanser category :)

I love AquaMarina! I have oily/spot prone skin and no oubt this cleanser has helped my skin alot. It smells like Lush's Hot Milk? Bubble Bar Slice. You can smell a slight fishy tone in there but that is due to the seaweed. Really easy to apply and really lovely to use. I feel so clean and refreshed after using!

My favorite LUSH cleanser of all time! I despise the smell (just like LUSH's Milky Bar) but I love it because of the great effects it has on my skin. I have combo/acne prone/sensitive skin and this is amazing! Leaves my skin cleansed and soft without stripping it. No irritation either. LOVE it!

I LOVE Aquamarina. Strangers are stopping me to ask how I got such beautiful skin. I have ROSACEA, so this is a complete miracle. Normal cleansers create a sunburn like rash all over my face and sensitive skin cleansers don't remove any of my makeup.
I don't have that with Aquamarina. It was designed for easily irritated (not oily or acne prone)skin and functions so much better than other sensitive skin cleaners.
I wouldn't recommend this if you have normal or oily skin, because you'll want more cleansing, but if you have skin like mine..it's a god send!

got a sample of this and i quite like it. its a bit harder to mix when compared to AOBS. i take a pinch smoosh it in your palm with some water and massage onto skin, i don't get a white cast.
AM leaves my skin stunningly smooth, like baby smooth. it doesn't mess about with the moisture balance of my skin either, so would probably work for most people.
although this will not replace AOBS i will definitely be using it, probably AOBS in the morning and aqua marina at night.
also i would like to point out that soidum chloride is salt, so won't create lather.

This is an interesting product. Squishy pink cleanser wrapped in seaweed. I find the best way to use it is to start with a very wet face, pinch off a bit of the cleanser and then rub it around and let it "melt" into your face. It left my skin feeling soft and pampered, but you do have to give your face a really good rinse to get it all off. A nice soothing cleanser to follow exfoliation. I like it.

This is the oddest thing. It's a pink roll of goo (I like goo!) with seaweed wrapped in it like Boursin cheese. Really bizarre. Anyway, you need a small pinch - about a cm of this, and massage it into skin. It doesn't foam as such but there's a slight lather, presumably from the sodium chloride, which as salt seems to have some slightly lathering qualities. Not foaming but just a creaminess. Hmmm, I wouldn't say skin is left feeling fresh as such, but it's reviving enough. My problem with this comes with the rinsing. It doesn't rinse off very well. If you don't get it all off it dries to a whitish cast. The film that is left is a bit ick. I can get around this by toning after. But, as it doesn't remove make-up very well either, I won't repurchase. I will say though that it hasn't irritated my skin like most cleansers, and also my skin is clear from using it. So kind-of a 50/50 product.
