My Biggest Lashes?! They should've called this "My Biggest Mascara Wand," amirite?? *rimshot* Haha, sorry. The brush on this is huge and looks more like the brush I used to use to clean my fish tank before the fish died than a mascara brush. I personally don't like huge brushes; they're harder to work through my fine lashes, and I tend to mess up and get mascara on my eyelid when I try to work the brush through the base of my lashline. For reference, I have fairly long but very fine eyelashes. I think the big brush also has a tendency to pick up more product than I would actually need, yet because of the big bushiness it's harder to really work the mascara itself into your lashes. It volumizes fine with 2 coats, but if I apply more than 2, it'll clump like crazy and makes my lashes look stumpy to boot--and clumpy-stumpy lashes =/= "biggest" in my book. I'm not looking for eyelashes that look like I took scissors to them! The thing is that I have an unfortunate tendency to over-use this one, because any less than 2 coats doesn't give me the length I'd like. Using a lengthening mascara after using this one will cut down on the clumping and give a bit more length on top of the volume, but it's too much work for me. I haven't had a problem with smudging, although I have oily lids; I HAVE had a problem with taking it off, even with Pond's Cold Cream, which usually removes everything like they're made out of water. I can't comment on the curling power, since I don't curl my eyelashes.
In sum, if you're looking for a good volumizing mascara and have no need for lengthening, you will definitely want to check Prestige's mascara out. Personally, I'll use it to the expiration date, but I'll breathe a sigh of relief when I can toss it out and open up a new tube of my favorite drugstore mascara, NYX's Doll Eyes. Prestige definitely hasn't shaken NYX out of the limelight, even if NYX is maybe $1 more and sometimes gives me creepily long lashes.

This has proven to be my favorite drugstore mascara. Gives more volume than my old favorite Full N' Soft. I use my Lorac primer and this gives me dramatic lashes that do not flake or smudge. A great value.

I agree; if you have straight lashes that stick out, this will not hold a curl for you. Besides the curling issue, it looked amazing when I first applied it. There was nice volume and length. Until they release a waterproof version, will not be repurchasing.

Does add great volume and some length but nothing to hold a curl. I found it to be an amped up version of Full n Soft in terns of results and it didn't irratate my eyes or make lashes overly stiff and brittle. Wore it for 8 hours, no flakes or smudging.
The formula is not watery at all, which is great because I find creamier mascara easier to work with. The only downside to this is the thicker mascaras have to be replaced more often. I love the big brush and the cute pink and black tube. I hope this isn't discontinued because when i went to Ulta there was only 1 tube left and this could easily be an HG product.

I got this mascara a while ago after I ran out of my Covergirl LashBlast waterproof mascara. The packaging looks really cute and retails for about 7 dollars I think. I tried it a few times at first and gave up on it because it uncurled my lashes! I'm Asian and I have monolids and straight eyelashes. I use the Shiseido eyelash curler and then apply my mascara. This mascara thickened my lashes considerably which was good, but completely weighed down my lashes so you could hardly tell i was wearing any mascara. Today however, I tried it again and I liked it! However, I had to spend like 10 minutes curling my lashes over and over and after applying the first coat of this, I applied Maybelline's Lash Stylist mascara which comes with a comb-like brush. That seemed to hold the curl a lot better while also lengthening my lashes. I like this combo a lot, but its just really time-consuming. Probably wouldn't purchase this again just because my lashes weren't made for this mascara. But if your lashes are stiff and straight like mine, I think you'll really like it:)

I really really like this. The first time I bought this, I accidentally picked up the black/brown, and I'm SO glad I did. The color is very dark, but beautiful. Very intense. Sometimes black makes my lashes look brittle and dry, but this color looks beautiful. It makes my lashes look full and thick, my biggest lashes! I wear it over my Shiseido mascara base (the best in the world) and it works like a dream. My only gripe is that because I have oily lids, it transfers/smudges color to my upper eye area (under my brow). I always seem to get a little smudging there with this, but otherwise it's fantastic. I've already purchased 2 more tubes. Cheapcheapcheap at Ulta.

I have a hard time finding drug store mascaras that I like, if iI dont repurchase it well then you can forget about it, But I happen to like this mascara so much that I am thinking about buying it again when I run out. I like this mascara simply because it makes my lashes look huge! Does not clump and volumuizes really good. AND it does not flake on me. I give this mascara an A+

this mascara is great; your lashes but to it's biggest and fullest potential basically. I think I just found my new HG because it's affordable and works better than most HE mascaras i've tried.

If anyone living in Montreal, Canada would like to purchase this mascara, I've got good news!! I found it in Montreal!! Just send me a message and I'll let you know where. However, they were out of the black and only had black/brown. They will receive more of the black after the holidays. They also had the Lash Matrix by Prestige.

I thought I was going to be doomed to a plight of paying ridiculous amounts of money for huge lashes [coughs] Benefit BadGal. This has got to be BadGal's twin - same quality, same brush, and much better price. The packaging is adorable, I love the hot pink tube and I dont mind carrying it around because it does not look cheesy or cheap to me.
Note: If huge brush mascaras do not work for you, dont bother. If they do, you HAVE to try this
I have naturally long, dark lashes but not the volume. This makes my lashes literally look fake, a look I happen to like. I cannot speak to its curl holding abilities as I usually dont curl my lashes. Only wish I could find this more locally, I purchased it at Ulta.
For reference: Other mascaras that I like include Loreal Voluminous, Maybelline Volume Express, and Neutrogena Healthy Volume.

At this price point, I don't think there's anything better out there. And in fact - I'm also trying out Diorshow Iconic and YSL Faux Cils at the moment, and I don't see too big of a difference between the quality of the high-end vs MBL. In fact, MBL absolutely gives me far more volume than the Iconic. And I'm honestly not seeing a noticable difference between Faux Cils and MBL, either - except in price, of course. MBL doesn't do too much to curl my lashes, but it doesn't weight them down either. For curling, I haven't been able to find anything like Chanel Exceptionnel (although that has it's own issues; separate review), but MBL does a commendable job of volumizing and lengthening my fine lashes. I haven't noticed any smudging or flaking yet, even after a full work day. This gets a top-notch rating from me!

I really like the dramatic volume and length My Biggest Lashes gives me with just one to two coats. It really packs on the volume to the max, and is a nice rich black color, no smudging or flaking. Cheap too.
Some cons are it dries out fairly quickly, can clump at times, requiring a comb thru, and pulls out any curl leaving me with stick straight lashes. So in order to wear this I always need to put either a primer or waterproof mascara on first in order to hold my curl, with this as the top coat, and ta da! gorgeousness. I need to go buy a backup of this.

Just like everyone else, it seems like I have tried every mascara out there. But, that is how you learn to recognize what exactly you like in a mascara and what you don't like.
I was finally able to find this today at the Christmas Tree Shop (of all places!!) and picked it up in Black/Brown. Don't the the name of the color fool you. It is very dark and rich. If it wasn't marked B/B I would swear it was Black.
The wand is perfect. A very full, traditional, tapered end brush that is exactly what I prefer. No more rubbery wands for me! The formula is not too wet but not overly dry either. It's very buildable and makes my extremely fine hard-to-see lashes lush, full and longer without adding bulk or clumps. I need some more time to see if it flakes or how it lasts under less than stellar conditions but so far this just might kick my old HG mascara to the curb (Boots Lash 360 $8) but that is only because of the price. They are actually very similar. I think that the Prestige *might* add a little more length, though. This totally beats LashBlast, no question. As well as all MAC mascaras but that's not saying much.
The only one drawback is the availability. My local drugstores don't carry Prestige mascaras. Only the liners. So, I will need to stock up when I find it. The closest Ulta is a good 45 away and it's now next door to a Christmas Tree Shop. I guess if I can't find it in one place, I can check the other!
Months later, this is still HG for me. My search is over.

Current HG mascara. Thick and dryish rather than watery formula. I find that with one or two coats I get good coverage and lift. The very black is exactly that, not grayish at all. Tends to get clumpy but easy to seperate. I much prefer these old style spoolies vs. the newer rubber nubs... those are great for seperating but no good for volume, which is what I need.

LOVE IT !! I purchased Lash Blast first and after being hugely disappointed with the wand, I returned it and picked this one up. I love the wand, it's easy to apply and it builds without clumping. I have thin lashes but they are long so this gave me volume that is build able which is great so I don't have to buy 2 different mascaras for work and play. Like many mention, it did not smudge or flake and it was easy to take off. I think I found my HG mascara.. YIPPIE !!

I just got this two days ago after reading the wonderful reviews on here. I decided to put this on one of my lashes and the L'Oreal Voluminous Mascara on the other so that I can compare the two. My husband and mom both noticed that one of my eyelashes were longer compared to the other. This was definitely a good buy, my lashes looked extremely long but the only complain I have is that it does not give as much volume as I like. Overall, I am quiet satisfied and recommend this product.

For me, this mascara is good, not great. I recently fell in love with Prestige lip and eye liner pencils, and have been returning to the DS almost daily to buy another one! When I heard that this was also good, I decided to try it out. I want length and volume in my mascara and while this delivered decent length, it actually reduced the volume of my lashes as I tried to build it up (one coat wasn't enough.)This will not be replacing my DS HG, Voluminous by L'Oreal.

I like this, but I don't think it's love. I think I've just grown really accustomed to my waterproof Lash Blast, which has blown every other mascara out of the water for me.
My Biggest Lashes comes with a large, evergreen-tree shaped wand. It's a fiber mascara, and it comes off so easily at the end of the night, which is a major plus. It's not a thick, heavy or watery formula, so it doesn't weight down my lashes as quickly as, say, Maybelline's Great Lash BIG (my other recent mascara buy).
But I don't get much lengthening from this, nor do I get an impressive or even memorable amount of volume. I also do get a little bit of lash droopage (I have stick straight lashes that require a blowdryer and Shiseido curler), but not enough for me to get upset or self conscious. For about $9 CDN, it really doesn't end up being worth it. It's no $30 DiorShow nor is it $7 L'Oreal Voluminous. It's just okay.

I wish I wish I wish this came in waterproof! It really is a lovely mascara, nicely black, volumizing and lengthening, but with my straight Asian lashes we are a match made in mediocrity. I get the immediate straightening effect no matter what I try, and after a while even the bit of lift at the root goes away. It looks pretty good at the beginning, but then my lashes begin pointing downward toward my cheeks, making me look sleepy and tired. I've even tried curling my lashes after application (which is a big no-no, I know) but it still didn't keep them curled.
That said, I love the mascara in every other way. While I don't think this produces incredible, out of the world results -- which some people seem to want it to -- it does thicken, blacken, and lengthen in a noticeable way. It's mascara, folks, not a new set of eyelashes. For a mascara, it does a great job. It's comparable to Diorshow but I don't think they're the same (as some people have claimed). I prefer My Biggest Lashes because it's a similar effect for less than half the price. And I think this lengthens more, too.
To be honest, I still sometimes use this mascara even though I know it'll kill my curl. What can I say? It makes my lashes look nice... at least for a while.
I plan on using this tube up, not even because I'm particularly frugal but because it's a good mascara that I sometimes forgive for its faults. But will I repurchase? Nah. Not until there's a waterproof version. And for those smudge-prone girls (like me), this is pretty good. On a scale of 1-10 (1 as raccoon eyes, 10 as invincible), I'd rate this an 8. Curly girls, I am jealous.

I don't really know what more I can add in praise of this product that has not already been reviewed; for years I have worn Lancome's Definicils for it's lengthening effect. MBL lengthens better than this $24.50 mascara and adds volume as well. Love it and bought two backups already. Obviously I will repurchase.
