I would give this 4.5 if I could.
Bright colors look garish on me so Penny Lane is perfect. It may not be so unique, but it gives me that innocent pink cheeks that is subtle and natural. I love it because it looks very natural and polished. I took one lippie off because it didnt last very long.

This blush is absolutely perfect. It's my first Nars - it hadn't even occurred to me to consider this one when I was comparing them on sephora.com, but I went to nordstrom's this morning, and it's lucky I did, because this blush was the most beautiful by far of all the ones I tried on. A very very subtle natural flush, perfectly suited to my extremely fair skin, and, as a million others have noted, oh-so buildable. I recommend this so enthusiastically to anyone looking for the perfect natural blush, because that is exactly what it is. also, it's cheaper at nordstrom's.

What a disappointment... I was expecting the creme blush to glow on my skin.. instead, it doesn't even show up on my skin when i blend it. i feel like the whole point of a cream blush is to give a healthy, shiny glow. But this blush lacks pigment and the little bit that does show up looks duller than powder blush. The color has nothing special to it either. Not worth the price.

This is my first NARS blush ever and I love it. I have pale, neutral NC15 skin, and was looking for a natural nude pink- and this is the perfect shade! This gives a great, slightly shimmery flush, blends well, and does not break out my acne-prone skin. I took of one lippie because the staying power isn't the best, but it still lasts pretty long as cream blushes go...
Overall, a great blush- will definately re-purchase if I ever run out!

I have definitely found that NARS blushes work the best! I LOVE the texture of this creme blush, it's perfect, and dont be fooled by the beigey look of it in the pan, it s a very pretty subdued pink

Nars has got the texture of these crem blushes perfect!! I had read that the color of this blush was sort of a subdued peachy pink. It was more of a subdued pink. A natural color, but since they kinda break me out anyway, I swapped it.

I tried this on and fell in love with it, but the price kept me from buying. Still, I was just dazed by how beautiful and fresh it looked, so I went back to the counter and caved in. No regrets!
This is my first review ever - I just have to share how beautiful this is. I urge you to try it on and see for yourself. I also have Orgasm, but I love Penny Lane a whole lot more. For reference, I am a mac NC20.

I was always hesitant about cream blushes due to it's lasting ability and also 'greasy' texture as it sits on your skin. The Nars blushes put those fears aside with their line.
This blush is a beautiful dusty pink. I would even border on saying a light pink with a touch of mocha undertone since this shows up as a pink beige rather than a pink with a slight gray undertone. I'm a MAC NC30 and this shows up on my skin quite nicely.
As for the texture, it's a satin finish and you hardly feel it. Lasts several hours without retouching and that impressed me. Great blush and highly recommend it!

the perfect nude-pink cream blush! Does not break me out, does not make my oily skin look oilier, just gives a beautiful, natural color to the cheeks. No peach, no mauve tones at all.

This is such a pretty, girly, pink color that really livens up my face. It look very cool toned and since I have warm tones I was hesatint to try but it actually looked very nice, had wonderful pigment, and stayed on. It will also last me a LONG time.

Let me start of by saying that I am uber pale. It's hard for me to wear blush without looking like I'm stuck in the 80's. NARS has changed my life when it comes to blushes. Penny Lane is my first NARS creme blush. I've had great success with their powder blushes so I decided to try the creme. I wasn't dissapointed. The color is a soft peachy pink. It's a pale girl's best friend. It gave me a nice girly flushed look and it blended very easily and dried down to a powder. I wear Mineral foundation and it was easy to use this blush over it. I think this shade would be universally flattering. I highly recommend it.

Applied with a brush, this gives the most natural looking flush on my fair skin! The consistency of the product is really nice and the color is a perfect ballerina nude pink! This is a great alternative the usual darker blushes I own.

This is my HG blush!
The shade is lovely on my PPP skin, it's a creamy pink color, not too overpowering for everyday use. I tried this after using Stila convertible color for awhile, and I will never go back. This applies very smoothly and blends well. If you prefer powder blush, you may not like applying it, but I find it much easier to blend.

I love NARS cosmetics in general - great colors and textures that agree with my skin/complexion. "Penny Lane" is a light, dusty pink shade. It looks really pale in the compact and I thought it wouldn't show up much on my medium-toned skin. Surprisingly, this is one of the few pink blushes that work well for me. It's very sheer once blended, and gives my cheeks a soft rosy appearance. However, I won't repurchase because the lasting power of this is nil, and I notice I get small breakouts if I use it on consecutive days. No happy ending for this blush :( Oh well....

The texture of Nars' creme blush is unbeatable, as is the wear. A warm muted pink, this is subtle enough for daytime. No detectable shimmer. I still prefer CD's Pink so sweet because though it's cool, the pink is brighter on my yellow-based NC20 skin. But this pale brown-based blush fares better with warm colors. A good option in the armamentarium.

I put off buying this because it looked so light I thught it would just blend into my skin, NC30 with yellow undertones. I actually ended up swapping for this and to my surprise it is the most beautiful blush I own. It is a sopft natural peachy pink. Just perfect for me. Last all day even in mid august, the hottest month in Miami. I use this more than any other blush in my collection, and it's a very big collection.. I know for sure I will repurchase this.

This is a fabulous blush for my sallow, MAC C3, Stila C skin. Applied lightly, it's neutral; a little more and it gives a lovely, subtle flush. The texture is wonderful--so easy to blend--and it lasts all day on me. I find myself reaching for this all the time. Also, it's great for the over-40s among us--it gives a natural, youthful look without being too dewy or greasy-looking. I'm always pleased to see that Nars adds classic colors (and keeps them) to his collection in addition to the edgier stuff--the products are of such great quality, and there really is something for everyone.

ah, im holding the beautiful blush right now. my first nars purchase.........and well worth the money. LOVE the packaging. built in mirror and rubber outside makes it seem quite indestructible. as for the actual product-its wonderful. the texture is creamy, soft, and completely blendable. its a medium, "dirty" (brownish but just makes the blush rosier) pink. perfect for my ppp skin. it leaves a sheen on my cheeks, not heavy shimmer at all, just the glowy look i thought was out of my grasp. perfect for everyday and looks nice on top of powder blushes as extra shine (but not oily shine) easy to apply, a good creme blush for days when you over sleep. its not a hassle and the color is sheer enough to be used on the fly. a great all around product. con: makes me want more nars products!

This pale pink cream blush is totally the wrong colour on me (light olive skin, brown eyes). Not sure why i let the Nars assistant talk me into buying it - are they paid to promote the new season's colours? when i got home i realised it made me look as though I'd been washed up - it has a lot of bluish tones in it. i gave it to a blonde, blue-eyed friend, who loves it and says the creamy texture is great for her more mature skin. Definitely one for cool ladies.

A light-medium neutral pink. There is no shimmer in this blush, but it seems to have a slight sheen. The texture is very creamy smooth and blendable. It lasts a long time, but I've never had a problem with NARS powder blushes, which I love, lasting. A very nice basic blush, but not worth the ($34 CAN) price. I would buy NARS creme blush again, but not this one, it's just not special enough IMHO.
