eww i hated this stuff! it seems like everyone else loved it, but for me it smeared all over and did NOTHING for my lashes- it didn't curl them at all oh well lol

I was pleasantly surprised by this mascara. It's the only "curling" mascara I've tried that did produce a noticeable curl. It does seem to go on a little soft at first and it takes a bit of effort if you want a more dramatic look. But overall, an excellent mascara at an excellent price.

This is a great example of how nice a drugstore product can be, but also of how a certain line can be inconsistent. For .99 I tried this, and have been forced to be more economical lately. The mascara color was intense enough, it did lightly curl my lashes, and hold the curl. It has not smeared or flaked, and I will purchase it again. Too bad the Jane glosses in the tube are not as well made.

LOVE this stuff! My makeup drawer is littered with abandoned mascaras now as I searched for one that wouldn't clump, flake, or smear. Well, I found it - this lengthens and curls, and stays exactly where it should. And for 2.84 at Wal-Mart, how can you go wrong??

One word - wow! Not only it curls my lashes and opens my eyes, it also lengthens my lashes to unbelieavble proportions! I gave it a four instead of a five, because it has a tendency to make my lashes look a tad 'spidery' but most lengthening mascaras do that. I used to love Dior Long Optics' (which is only slightly better when it comes to thickening) but at $20 v. $ 3.49, I'll take the Jane mascara anytime!
Latest report: still loving this, but even the waterproof version still smudges after 6 hrs (I have super oily lids).

Good stuff!!! Way low price!! Can compete and sometimes beat several high end mascaras. I recommend this one!! I am going back to buy some colors I don't normally wear because at this price......I can!

I bought the sample size of Jane Fan Club Curling Mascara. It did curl my lashes a bit and thickened them. It also lengthened them really nicely. I never have had any problems with smudging/flaking with this. I also had minimal clumping.

This mascara lenthens and separates lashes as well as EL's More Than Mascara, and it only costs a fraction of the price! I haven't had any trouble with Fan Club clumping or smudging - it lasts beautifully all day. I use several different mascaras, but this is the one I usually reach for, especially if I'm in a hurry and don't have time to really fuss over my lashes. This gets and A+ from me: consistently flawless application, exceptional lengthening, and great staying power.

I use this mascara at night before going out. It holds curl but I still have to curl beforehand. I have stick straight lashes, so I would be surprised if it curled them on it's own. I got Grape which is supposed to be a purply color, but really just shows up black. I like to pretend that I can see a difference, but I can't. This is a nice basic mascara, but it doesn't really thicken or lengthen to the point that I worship it.

Greatest mascara! This is second only to my L'Oreal Lash Out, which I worship. But you can't beat the price and it makes lashes look great. Thumbs up!

This is a GREAT mascara. I have stick straight lashes, with decent length but NO volume. Therefore, I usually tend to buy mascaras that add volume, although they aren't TOO natural looking. The fan club curling mascara is natural looking, yet plumps up the lashes...its the best of both worlds! I love the sleek silver tube as well. And come on, three bucks a tube? It is such a value. Plus you could buy the "Try Me" for .89! Give it a look!

I bought the sample size to try it out and it's great. I love it better than Maybelline Great Lash. Really did make my lashes fuller and kind of curled them(I still used an eyelash curler before). Not bad mascara at all. I think i'll stick with this one.

I bought a sample size of this mascara after reading a few raves. I didn't expect it to curl my lashes on its own, but it didn't even hold the curl after I used my eyelash curler. It also smeared under my eyes after a couple of hours. Yuck, it went in the trash after 1 use.

I was so impressed with this product. I have two lash problems: my lashes are stick straight and they tend to clump. This mascara is the only one I have found that holds my eyelash curler's curl all day. It did not clump at all (even w/out wiping or combing) and lasted all day. Highly recommend this product.
