This is very hit-or-miss. When the formula is great - it's Holy Grail. When it's not - it's so-so. Someone must've fallen asleep in Quality Control. ;) I've gotten bad batches with a funky smell before, instead of the medicated smell I have come to trust. If I don't smell medicine, I'm picking out another bottle! This is the ONLY thing I can use that gets my oilier-than-Texas skin squeaky clean on the first wash. Anything else takes two, three washes. This stuff saps the oil out down to the walk-in-closet-sized pores on my nose and leaves me tingly. Would probably be a disaster on dry, normal (or hey, even combo) skins. When it's good - it's great. When it's not - it's cheap enough to toss. BTW - I agree about the Wal-Mart "Equate" version. It's right up there with this one. Smells slightly less medicinal, if you care about that, but it cleans.

My estimate would be that I'm on my 20th bottle of this stuff! I probably own a portion of the company at this point! Anyway, I can't live without this face wash! It is definately a holy grail for my oily, acne prone skin. It smells nice, has very gentle exfoliators in it, and is nice and creamy. My skin feels clean but never dry or tight after I use this! It also helps a lot with mild acne. Overall, this product is a winner! Every time I've strayed from it, I've been terribly dissapointed! It's great! (And you can often get it on sale for about $5 a bottle)

I LOVE this cleanser! It has a wonderful smell, great texture and it's pretty cheap. I go through about one $5 squeeze bottle a year. I'll definitely keep on using this. EDITED: My skin seemed to become immune to Clearasil products, so I switched to Proactiv. Proactiv works great for me, but I still think that Clearasil Daily Face Wash is great for some people.

This really made my skin itch and dried it out. Its really cheap, but then so is the product. It stops me breaking out, but there are better cleansers out there. The smell is quite strong, but not too gross...just smells like chemicals

EEEEK! Way too drying for my skin! Think it may have confused my skin and made it worse. I had mild acne when I used it and ended up w/ a much worse case by the end of the bottle. That was years ago but I'll never take a chance on it again. My skin is usually good at forgiving me and after this product, well let's just say my skin didn't forgive me for almost a year after I quit using it.

I didn't expect this product to be very good. I actually liked it. It cleared up most of my acne. It's not the "best" cleanser I've used. But its pretty good. It might work better for someone else.

I used this all the time as a young teen, as did my mom at the same time. It was great at first, inexpensive and seemed to work great. But I think it made my hormonal breakouts more irritated, and dried out my then-confused skin. I don't reccomend this product, and don't even think about getting it near your eyes!

NEVER EVER EVER will i buy this again!
did nothing for my skin...wasn't drying....but had no affect at alL! didn't seem to clean well....left a film on my face, and had a very odd smell!

my skin is normal--but, this product made me break out! it was really drying, and caused a rash-like breakout.

if u have sensitive skin, be wary of this one!

This is my standard cleanser. Perfect for oily skin, doesn't cause a rebound reaction by drying out your skin too much. Great at removing makeup, gentle.

My sister and I have been using this antibacterial face wash for years. It really deep cleans without drying out my skin. It also keeps the breakouts away. It is cheap and comes in either a pump container or a tube. I use this every night to take off my makeup and I love it!
