I cannot believe i have found a liner that is better then bobbi browns gel liner. This stuff does not budge, is excellent consistancy and because of the fine tapered brush allows you to get fine and very precise lining. I absolutely love it, worth every penny- i wont be buying bobbi brown gel liner anymore!

This is the longest lasting eyeliner I have ever tried (high end and drug store included). It does not flake or melt even on a hot humid beach day. I also wore it to the gym to test it out and it is foolproof. Just use a cleansing lotion or oil to simply take off. Only complaint is the price and that it comes in a small tube.Got my first tube in sparkly black and then went back and got basic black as well. Will try other colors.

Dries fast and delivers as promised. Pretty expensive but worth it for me as I only line the top lid for everyday wear so it lasts a while for me. You can literaly apply it on your hand and rub it and it will not budge. But comes off easily when you wash your face. Amazing formula. I love the applicator's brush-like tip. Even though I never really do anything fancy with my eyeliner, I feel like I could do anything with this applicator!

First of all you must know that black liquid eyeliner is my one makeup staple. My daily, no fuss look is to do a "winged" cat eye across my upper lashes, some mascara, a bit of blush and tinted lip gloss. It's quick and easy. So you would imagine that I am super picky when it comes to liquid liners. This stuff is THE BEST, hands down. I've tried them all and for years and years my HG was Lacome but Stila tops it! The tube is thin and easy to hold and maneuver. The brush tip doesn't fan after a few uses, which was always my pet peeve with "brush ended" eyeliners and why I loved Lancome's sponge point tip so much but this brush gives a much thinner line where needed! It's easy to make any shape, thick or thin and easy to do detail work. It goes on black and sharp and stays all day (hence the name)! Of course if you rub your eyes or go swimming it may not stay that well but what really does other than a tattoo?? This is the best liquid eyeliner out there and I hope they never discontinue it. I buy two at a time! End note: I gave it a 3 for the price (seeing as it costs a fair bit more than drug store brands) but it's totally worth it and not too over the top expensive as far as I'm concerned. Lasts a long time! Worth. Every. Penny!

LOVE this eyeliner! Out of the many that I've tried, this has been the best one that I've owned. However, -1 star for it running out after what seems like a few uses.

The formula is awesome. It really stays on. I have super hooded eyes and I find that there is no transfer to the upper part of my lid when I wear this. The color is very dark. The pen is very easy to use. It's excellent for those who are scared to use pot/gel liners. My only complaint is that the tip of the marker get soft after a while. Although, I still have liner in the pen, it's hard to control now, especially when doing winged eyes. That's disappointing for something that costs $20.

This is simply my HG eyeliner. Jet black, opaque, dries fast and stays on all day as promised.
The only set back is the price, something like $45AUD, which is ridiculous. With every day wear it takes a few months to run out of this.
It is still amazing stuff though.
EDIT: unfortunately i have found that throughout the day this wears away from the lashline, leaving a gap of skin between the liner and the lashes which is quite annoying. This does not happen to me with gel liners such as inglot amc gel liner. Hence the negative lippie. I am also saying no to repurchase as i cannot justify that much money for a liner that claims to 'stay all day' and cannot stay on the lashline

HOLY COW!!! If I could give this eyeliner a higher rating than 5, it would get a 10!!! Seriously ladies (and gentlemen), I've been through cream liners, gel liners, kohl, etc. I have super sensitive acne prone skin, my lids tend to get oily (the only time my eyeshadow stays on is when I use UDPP which is obviously all the time)..but this eyeliner stands on it's own!!

I work as a waitress and sometimes do 12 hour shifts, but by the time work is done I have perfectly lined eyes despite the fact that I'm ready to crash on the inside. A coworker suggested this eyeliner to me and I since have not looked back. If you have never used a liquid eyeliner before I suggest this one as the tip is very thin and allows for precision.

I don't know what I would do without this eyeliner..all I can definitely say is thank you Stila for making an eyeliner at a reasonable price (under $20) that stays on all day and is easy to work with!!! I will definitely be repurchasing!

I LOVE THIS LINER. I've never tried out a liquid felt tip liner that actually stayed all day. i wake up at 6 in the morning do my makeup and after sitting through 8 hours of stuffy classrooms and hot, stinky, sweat-inducing public transportation rides, riding BART to the East Bay at 4 in the afternoon is like being shoved into a can of sardines. And the first day i tried this out i came home expecting to look in the mirror an see a black eyed raccoon staring back at me, and i see my eyeliner looking as perfect as it did when I put it on in the morning. I was so surprised, when Stila says Stay All Day they literally mean "STAY ALL DAY". Don't underestimate this product, all i can say is DAMN, this is good stuff. The black color is a beautiful saturated black and is a really nice applicator that is not too firm and not too flimsy. I HIGHLY recommend this eyeliner for those cat eye enthusiasts who tend to smudge their wings a lot. My favorite eyeliner ever!

Ok,I have super oily eyelids and I can't use pencil or gel eyeliner because they will smear. I tried Bobbi Brown Gel eyeliner and it smeared 20 minutes after I put it on.

This is a very nice eyeliner. It is easy to apply and gives you the right amount of color. It is pretty black. The color is pretty rich. I've tried both black and brown. I love the black and the dark brown is such a disappointment. It is so hard to put it on. You have to really press the eyeliner if you want the color to show up on your eyes.

so the bottom line is

This eyeliner in Black-----highly recommended.

This eyeliner in Dark Brown----please don't waste your time and money on this.

The BEST liquid eyeliner I have ever tried. Working a 10-hr shift outside and it didn't so much as budge or smear. Not sure what heat and humidity would do, but it worked wonderfully in the cooler weather. Precise application and very dense color and coverage.

I bought this product after some research because they insisted that it would stay and not budge.

well. I set this stuff with eyeshadow and it stays-- but if my eyes water slightly from anything at all, the product begins to disintegrate.

but the tip is actually very user-friendly. it's pretty much a pen-- no messy solution to fuss around with (like MAC's liquidlast; but I have to say-- that is the most steadfast waterproof eyeliner I have ever used in my life... lol).

anywho, I probably wouldn't buy this product again because it really doesn't stay as advertised. if they didn't imply waterproofness, then I definitely would come to this pen for a liquid liner!

I don't find that this eyeliner stays all day for me, I have yet to find one that does! This will stay on for about 3 hours on me until it starts to fade into a dark grey instead of jet black, and then starts smudging on my winged/cat-eye tips that I always do. If you place the product too close to your lashes that it seeps into your waterline, or it leaks into the corner of your eyes, it will burn, much like most other liquid eyeliners I've tried. I also can't make thin lines with it because the very thin tip of the spongy applicator becomes weak very quickly, within a few days. So then I have to use the sides of it which makes for thicker lines, which isn't as desirable IMO as thin lines. I just bought this product a couple weeks ago and I'm hoping the pigment in the pen doesn't run out, because I'm not really one to spend $20 on an eyeliner. Overall, this product is okay I guess, but I was expecting more out of it.

My new HG for black eyeliner! An ideal pick if you are looking for an eyeliner that lasts all day without smudging. I used to be loyal to Maybelline liquid in waterproof because it was the only thing that really held up waterproof and did not smudge - but the brush was hard to control and it took a long time to dry, and in that drying time usually transferred to other parts of my eyelid.
I tried this in Sephora and it became my instant replacement. It *really is* waterproof - I wear it everyday to work and it never smudges or gives me raccoon eyes for 9+ hours. Plus, the brush tip is stiff and easy to control, it dries quickly, and the black is very black. The product also lasts quite a long time - 4+ months of applying it once every day.
Side note - I wore this eyeliner on my wedding day without hesitation, and I had no raccoon eyes!

Product - Liquid eyeliner in an automatic brush-tip pen. Black is definitely a good, rich, inky black. Dark Brown is a rich milk chocolate brown. Indigo is a gorgeous deep sea-blue, think of royal blue with some turquoise added in. Applies nicely - very smooth and liquid, not too watery/runny, not too thick. Dries reasonably quickly. Drawing a line is fast and easy, assuming you have steady hands, but it can look obvious, as many liquid liners can. I find that dotting this on at the lashline between lashes (sort of like tightlining) looks more natural, though requires a little more patience and a good mirror :) The brush tip on this liner is sturdy and has a very fine tip, so you can be very precise during application; you can also tilt the tip for a wider line - or, if you're like me, you can also draw in more until the line is as thick as desired. I have oily lids *and* watery eyes, and this holds up beautifully during the day. It didn't smudge, smear, or feather - though I did notice that Indigo doesn't seem to last or wear as well as Dark Brown or Black. It does however come off easily with warm water and a quick rub (like my tubing mascara does), which is nice if you have sensitive lids and don't want to rub the delicate eye area with makeup remover pads. I used to be terrible at applying liquid eyeliners, but this pen works really well for me - that doesn't mean I'll give up gel liners but this is a nice addition to my arsenal!

Packaging - Long skinny automatic brush tip pen with glossy black plastic exterior and snap cap. The snap cap lid has a spring-loaded insert in it - I think to help seal the brush tip from the outside drying environment. If you shake the pen you can hear something rattle inside - like a ball in a paint pen. The brush tip is not scratchy like the hard felt tip types, and not floppy like some other brush types... it's very sturdy - think of a firm Asian calligraphy brush head - and it's surprisingly precise. I can draw a very very skinny line or angle the brush more for a broader line. Excellent, excellent line control.

Overall - Love this. The precise, firm brush is fantastic to work with and the eyeliner stays put all day. What more could you ask for, besides a good range of colors?

This is by far the best liquid eyeliner I've ever tried and I've tried tons of drugstore ones as well as a few high ends ones including MUFE and Urban Decay. The felt tip makes it easy to draw a precise line and to wing out the line. The liquid is very pigmented so you don't need to go over the same area again (unless you're about to run out). It really stays all day with zero smudging or flaking. The reason why I didn't give it 5 stars is because my tube only lasted me 3 months while using at a rate of 3 times per week. Considering it retails for $20, I think it should last a little longer. I'll probably repurchase this whenever I find it discounted.

I LOVE this liquid liner!! It is my HG liner. I dont know how I ever lived without it! No liner I have used since comes close to this in my book. Only problem with it is its pretty "wet" when you first get it, so it can go all over your eye. All I do to take care of that is to dab it on a tissue the first few uses. Then after that its smooth sailing = )

This pen eyeliner was recommended to me by the sales associate at Sephora when I asked her where the Kat Von D Tattoo liner was (which i also love). She pointed this one out and i thought the tip was cool since it looked like a spongy marker. The Kat Von D one is great but the tip is like a brush and more bendable and once in a while spreads out a little more than I'd like. This liquid pen (like the KVD) stays on all day and it's pretty easy to get the cat eye look. Coworkers of mine have asked me what I use saying that my eyeliner always looks perfect and I've influenced two of them to buy it. They LOVE it! I'm the type to always read reviews before buying a product but I liked this one so much that I didn't bother to check what others were saying about it. $20 is a steep price but the quality is SUPERB and Sephora's return policy is excellent if this pen fails to impress you (I just returned some stuff that were more than a yr old because I barely use them and they took it back no questions asked). I love sephora and i love this eyeliner!

A+ forever. It's the liquid eyeliner of my dreams - waterproof, but easy to remove at the end of the day, AND it dries to a matte finish unlike drugstore waterproof liquid eyeliners. It also lasts for a long time unlike MAC's Penultimate. The only downside is its retail price of $20, but I saw it come in a Costco Stila makeup package for $13. Regardless, it's definitely worth the investment.

I'm remotely new to eyeliners- liquid especially, but I was very interested in trying out the winged eyeliner look. I picked this up looking for an easy way to try liquid liner, and I gotta say, I LOVED this product. It made it so easy to line my eyes and control the thickness of my line.. and I got so many compliments on how I managed to pull of such a straight line.

BUT (and it's a big but), this product totally broke after less then a month of me using it! What a rip-off! It got all watery and gross and I can't use it anymore. I paid a whole 20 bucks for a product that I loved at first, but after 3 weeks, I can't use it at all! I'm definitely not buying this product again, and if anyone has any recommendations for liners similar to this one, PLEASE let me know! thanks!! :)
