I have used Pond's for almost eight years now and although it is an excellent product line (smooth application, wears well under makeup and price is decent), I have recently done a little "digging" and was disappointed to learn that this product is now considered a high health hazard for the ingredients it contains. As some women may or may not be aware, parabens have now been linked to developmental toxicity and cancer. It's worth a second thought. I'm definitely going to miss using Pond's but my mission is now to find something that works exactly the same but is 100% safe for skin absorption. For those who wonder where the parabens are, you can find them at the bottom of the listing.

WATER, GLYCERIN, CETEARYL ALCOHOL, STEARIC ACID, CAPRYLIC/CAPRICTRIGLYCERIDE, GLYCERYL STEARATE, MYRISTYL MYRISTATE, CYCLOMETHICONE, RETINYL PALMITATE (VITAMIN A PALMITATE), TOCOPHERYL ACETATE (VITAMIN E ACETATE), DIMETHICONE, WHEAT AMINO ACIDS, CHOLESTEROL, CARBOMER, TRIETHANOLAMINE, FRAGRANCE, LAURETH 23, METHYLPARABEN, PROPYLPARABEN, DMDM HYDANTOIN, DISODIUM EDTA, TITANIUM DIOXIDE (CI 77891)

I was using the original Replenishing Moisturizer Lotion (both versions with and without SPF) since I was 15 (for 6 yrs!). I absolutely loved the scent, texture, and everything about it....I'm really upset that they just had to reformulate the product AND change its scent, which I (and my bf) loved....sigh. I'm giving it 4 lippies because the new product is still decent, but its a bit thicker than the old one. The scent is just okay. I might just end up switching to Neutrogena's lotions because I prefer lotions that are less creamy. If anyone knows of anywhere online/Canada that still sells the old lotion let me know! I wish companies would warn you before they discontinue/reformulate something so that I could stock up....:( I actually asked my friends in other parts of the world to check their local drugstores for me but they discontinuted the lotion there too.

This is also a review for ponds replenishing lotion with spf 15. I love this lotion and have used it on a regular basis for over 2 years. This is my HG moisturizer, I use it twice a day and it leaves my skin radiant and never breaks me out. It makes my mu look great all day, not like so many other moisturizers that make your mu disappear by midday. It's also great for travel, it's a squeeze tube that doesn't leak when you throw it your bag. I would've never thought this would work for my skin, I have combo skin that's very prone to breakouts and I'm also young (22) and always thought ponds was only for older aging skin, but it works so wonderful on my skin. I'm sooo sad they're discontinuing this, I can't find it at any drugstores in my area, but I did happen to find it on medshopexpress.com, so I will be stocking up.

This review is for Pond's Replenishing Moisturizer Lotion, because I was never able to find the Cream everyone is talking about that's been discontinued. So based on the reviews is here I bought this tube (98 ml), with SPF 15. As I said I'm not sure if this is the same thing as the moisturizer everyone has been raving about, but after one week of using it I'd say it's a HG for me. The scent is a bit strong when you first apply it but vanishes fast. The lotion -that actually has the consistency of a cream- absorbs really fast into my skin, there is no greasy feeling, and it leaves my face very soft and smooth and plumped. I used it only at night in the beginning but now I've tried it as a primer under my mineral foundation and it works just fine. I have oily skin and this helps with the oilies. I'm break-out prone but I got no break-outs with this moisturizer.
The pump tube is very hygienic, I gave it only 4 lippies because you can't see how much is left and I'm not even sure how much product there really is in it to begin with.
So big rave for this one. I hope it's not the one being discontinued - if anybody knows anything about it please lmk.

GOOD NEWS: this product has not been discontinued!! Eckerd carries it, if not more places. I found it on the shelf this afternoon (and immediatly bought a jar, of course!). I was so excited because this is my favorite moisturizer of all time, no contest. The smell, consistency, rate of absorbency, and packaging are all PERFECT. It absorbs quickly and easily, and has never clogged my pores. FYI: I have combination skin.

I Love this mositurizer! It has a nice clean smell is non greasy and leaves my skin so soft. It has never made me breakout. I have a hard time finding a moisturizer for my face because I'm so sensitive but this was my perfect product. I cannot believe they discontinued this, I ran out and went to buy more and now it's gone. I just bought some ponds dry skin cream and I'm hoping it works. I don't think I'll ever be able to find a better lotion for my face.

Luv,luv, luv this cream. I have really really oily troubled yet sensitive skin. After a week of using this cream my pores are visibly smaller, my complexion clearer and my face alot less shinier. It looks really healthy and my skin is back to the way it used to be when I was younger!UPDAT: I guess I raved alot abt this product cuz it instantly matted my skin and I was shine free for a couple of hours cons: it felt heavy on my skin like i had a mask on, no SPF, i had a white cast on my face w/ this on, strong detergent smell

I really like this product as well! It's a shame they discontinued it. From what I hear they are restructuring it and packaging it into a smaller size and selling it for the same price.. Really sucks! Now I have to look for another good lotion. It's noncomedigenic and oil free and light weight, with a pleasant light scent. I did not experience any breakouts while using it. And I usually use it after I wash my face in the morning and at night. So sad I couldn't find it on the shelves anymore....

I just found this moisturizer, and it's a shame because apparently it's been discontinued! It's lightweight, non-comodogenic, and was exactly what I was looking for in a moisturizer. Oh well...I guess there's no use raving now because it's gone! I'd like to try it's 'replacement' moisturizer, but I'm not sure if they're even carrying Ponds in Canada anymore. Until then, I'm back in the hunt for the perfect moisturizer.

Sorry to say this product is not being made anymore!

I love it. Couldn't find it and wrote Ponds - they said they are "restructuring their product line" and they suggested Smooth Perfection Complexion Perfecting Moisturizer.

They sent me a coupon - so I'll give it a try.

This is a good moisturizer! It leaves my skin feeling soft & my skin does not feel tight & sticky like it did when I used Noxzema Skin fitness. I will most likely buy Ponds products again ~ I still like to try other brands from time to time though.

i've been using this cream for over two years now. i think it's a great, basic cream that really absorbs well and leaves skin healthy looking. i have combo skin and rosacea and i can't say any breakouts i have are a result of this product. it's a good moisturizer for my sensitive skin.

This is a nice cream that does a good job at moisturizing. For reference, I usually have oily combo skin but since I've been pregnant, my skin has been a lot drier. This product restored the moisture back to my skin, plus I used it as an eye cream as well. The smell is definitely a low point. My husband thought it smelled bad but I really didn't mind it that much. Twice I wondered if new pimples were a result from the cream, but I concluded that they didn't. The cream absorbs really well into the skin and quickly too. Good product for the price!

This cream leaves your skin moisturized and supple, my favorite is how it leaves my skin so supple. The scent is nothing special, doesnt really bother me nor do i enjoy it after application. I use this cream on my face, neck, shoulders and declotte (or however you spell it lol) for deep moisturization where i feel is the most important for my skin. I use this on my hands sometimes too but mainly use Avon's Milk comfort nourishing night cream on my hands for that silky soft feel. This product doesnt leave your skin silky but supple.

I don't like the smell of the Ponds products at all. This is a nice moisturizer indeed, didn't cause any pimples, but I found that after a while it would just sit on top of my skin. It's affordable, great to keep around in case I run out of my other moisturizer, but it's not a HG in my opinion.

I really enjoyed this moisturizer. It made my skin feel clean and fresh, and I got compliments on its glow. The smell is lovely, and you'll love the way your skin feels after putting this on. I suggest using it after a good cleanser, or maybe even St. Ives scrub. Unfortunately, I have acne and this doesn't do anything to help it, therefore I haven't really been using it. But for those of you who may have dry skin, or just normal skin, this is a great product to use!

I LOVE how this cream doesn't leave any greasy residue on my face and just sinks right in leaving my face really smooth. The thing is, I don't think this is enough for my dry skin, and within an hour, my skin is getting flaky again. Not a pretty look. Although this doesn't really work for me, I'll still give it a 3 because I can see this working out really well on ladies with less dry skin.

As of now, I'm using up my jar by mixing it with Cetaphil cream (as that is a bit too thick) to make a cream that's light and sufficiently moisturizing for me. So I would purchase this lotion again if only to use as a mixing base for my Cetaphil.

EDIT: After switching over to a gentler facial wash, I find that this stuff is perfect for me. As I said before, it leaves absolutely no greasy residue on my skin and moisturizes well enough. I can't believe Pond's discontinued such a gem :(
