I got this because I am extremely pale and I wanted a very natural-looking blush that wouldn't look muddy on me. Just to get a rough idea of how this compares to another sheer blush, Benefit Dandelion shows up on me as a definitively pink blush after a light application (even though it's marketed as a "finishing powder"). I was hoping for something of similar color-intensity that was significantly less pink.

I absolutely cannot believe that I am writing to say that this is too pale for me. It barely shows up unless I pile it on. This is surprising to me since I'm in the NC-10 range. I can sort of tell when I wear it, but it is not quite like wearing a "natural blush." Maybe I got a dud. I'll keep this around but I can only imagine wearing this if I am wearing *both* a smokey eye *and* a bold lip. It is just THAT subtle.

The blush has a fragrance to it that kind of hits you in the face when you open the package and apply the blush. This doesn't irritate my skin, but it's not a fragrance that I'm especially in love with. It dissipates after the first 15 minutes of wear. The blush doesn't break me out or ruin my skin otherwise, so I'm not going to get rid of it. At the same time I don't see this becoming the go-to subtle and neutral blush that I wanted it to be. I'm bummed because I really wanted to love this based on the reviews, but I just don't see myself re-purchasing this.

Let me say I love this blush. It's what I wear for my professional "no makeup" look. It makes my pale skin get a subtle believable error proof look. I will also be able to wear this at night with a dramatic lip or eye. I think this blush feels so good too. I like the consistansy, smell(like makeup....I like the makeup experience....)and I love the price. Looks like it will last a long time! This is a good buy....I have to also say that for whatever reason covergirl blush is the only blush that looks good. The colors or the formula just make my skin get a glow. I
love their blushes. This one is excellent of you are pale.

I'm an NC20 and I LOVE this blush. Ive included a copy of the original 1967 ad for this product when it was called Glow Lightly. Natural Glow is the only original color (I think Tawny Glow and Amber Glow are no longer made... wouldn't swear to it though)

I can swipe this on using the included brush, no mirror and do it while I'm running out the door with no fear of clown cheeks. It leaves the faintest hint of color (read the ad... thats what its supposed to do "more glow than show"). I love it and I hope that they never discontinue it!

Its probably also true that the Cover Girl of today needs to note this information about how sheer its supposed to be on their packaging if they don't already. It seems plenty of people aren't aware!

Glow on people!

This is a very versatile product, bought for sale for $3. I am NW10, and it looks great as a very very natural blush (aka with a bold lip and I don't want to look like I'm wearing blush). Very refreshing on me, but if you were NW/NC20 +, I doubt this will show up on you.
Update: I think this might be a very affordable semi-dupe for MAC's Porcelain Pink MSFN. I own them both and this one is similar, with just a bit less pink/gold highlight and more of a peachy/gold shimmer highlight.

This is not the blush for anyone who wants an obvious "I'm wearing blush" look, the cool-toned, or those that aren't pale. This is, however, perfect for us pale ladies who want our complexions to look naturally perked up or like that no-makeup look.

The color is a slightly peachy beige, very close to being a foundation color. I think this is a big reason it does not look like you're wearing blush, more like your skin is glowing. I was scared it would make my skin look muddy, which all beigy blushes have done so far, but it's very flattering. It's not very pigmented so make sure you use this with a dense brush. There is a slight shimmer but it's not glittery. The shimmer makes this work nice too if you want to use it as a subtle highlighter on your brow bones or top of your cheek bones with a more obvious blush below it. It is extremely easy to blend, I just love the texture.

There's only 2 things I dislike - there is a soapy or perfumey scent I don't care for, but thankfully fades quickly. The compact is very bulky and I found it confusing to put together at first. When I open up the package I thought the lid was missing! I finally noticed this edge sticking out of the bottom that wouldn't swing out. With tons of fiddling around I figured out you need to slide the lid underneath the package to the other end, then push the end up till it clicks. After that you can swing foward and close it. Whew!

I'm only disappointed that I did not try this sooner! I am fair so maybe this is why I am in LOVE with this product! The color is very subtle but imparts a gorgeous glow. The beige/peach/pink tone works wonders for reviving my skin! Although fair, my cheeks do have pinkish hue, so this perhaps blends with my natural skin tone so nicely that it makes me look polished. This color is goof-proof as well! This color can definitely be paired with bold lips, bold eyes, or a natural look as well. So versatile! After all this time purchasing department store brand blushes (Nars, Chanel,Mac etc.) I realized today that I never have to do that again! The case is pretty good for the $5.99 price tag as well! I like the mirrored compact and the included blush brush for touch-ups during the day:) So convenient! I don't have to carry a separate blush brush anymore! Yay! The case is pretty slim as well, which makes it perfect for travel. And with the price tag, you won't break the bank... awesome! Yes, there is the Noxzema scent, but I actually like it because it brings me back to my youth...LOVE! I hope CG never discontinues this color or line of blushes! I'm sooooo happy I tried this blush, no wonder it's a classic!
EDIT 5/7/2013: Still love this blush for day and night and no risk of clown cheeks. I love the subtle glow! Perfección!

Wow. I should have come here first. I'm looking for a subtle brownish pink. In person, that's exactly what this looks like. On my face, it looks like I have beige powder on my cheeks. I'm not a dark person. I'm right in the middle with medium- yellow skin. This is not what I expected. Perhaps this will work on very light people.

I've actually had a lot of success with CG cheekers, so I thought that I would like this product. It is much more sheer than the cheekers. Back it goes.

Just as the name suggests, gives a natural glow to fair skin. Perfect fior use high on the cheeks over a contour shade for a bronzey look on very fair skin. Not shimmery. A little powdery. Compact is cheap, and broke easy. Good for the cost.

This is my HG everyday color. It does exactly what the title implies - gives a "natural glow." It is pigmented enough to show, but doesn't have glitter or sparkles in it. It can work for a very youthful look or a sophisticated look, depending on how you use it. It also seems to be pretty neutral - maybe leaning *slightly* warm - so it should be universally flattering. I have owned almost every NARS color at some point and I could never find a nice, natural one that I loved like this one. I tried Madly, Sertao, Nico and countless others. Nico is close but why pay $26 when you can get CG Natural Glow for $5????

Very natural looking color on my fair skin. It gives me a beautiful, subtle, no-makeup nude look that goes perfectly with bold eyes. This peachy-beige would also make a great "bronzer" for us fair skinned girls. I'm going to buy this again, for sure.

At first, I didn't like this blush. It didn't seem to do much for me. However, I've grown to really like it. It's a light, natural pinky peach color, and works great to give me a subtle glow on my pale skin, kind of like a bronzer/blush hybrid. It's very subtle, but it does a lot, especially if you like the natural look. It just makes my extremely fair face look more naturally toned and pretty, without looking like I packed it on RIGHT THERE. I've found the best way to apply it is with a smaller, more dense brush to get maximum pigmentation. Perfect for summer!

As previously stated by many others, this blush is great for those with pale complexions. If you aren't pale, this will most likely do NOTHING for you. Don't waste your time or money. In the pan, this looks like a beige with hints of peachy pink and slight shimmer. I am extremely pale (NW10 or lighter). I tend to wear pinks quite often (BB Pale Pink, BB Pale Pink pot rouge, BB Raspberry pot rouge, Milani Luminous, etc). I have always wanted a beigey sort of blush that just looked natural without looking overly pink. Though I wouldn't call this CG blush a HG, it fits that purpose fairly well. It gives a subtle hint of color on my face that isn't overly pink; beige/nude colors also tend to make me look dirty, muddy, or orange and this doesn't do that (which is actually extremely impressive). I did have to apply quite a bit of blush to get it to show (again, don't even think about this if you aren't pale). Also, as with any CG product, don't use the applicator it comes with. This would look good on either warm or cool tones--but again, only if you are pale. I gave it 4 out of 5 lippies because it has that slightly annoying Noxzema smell that is typical of CG blushes.

As others have mentioned, this blush is excellent for those of us with pale complexions. I am very fair skinned and tend to stay away from most blushes because I feel like they're too obvious or appear clown-like on my skin. Natural Glow is the only blush I have ever found that does not make me feel overdone or too made up and self conscious. I really like the subtle hint of color it imparts on my face, and will continue to purchase this product unless I find something I like more. The only thing I don't like about CG's Natural Glow is the brush it comes with. I found it difficult to get an even application with the brush included with the blush, so I use one of my own to solve the problem.

I found this blush in the bottom of an old purse and I use it everyday now!! I find that I have to use it a few times to get an even application. As apposed to Cover-girls Cheekers in "Pink" I barley touch my blush brush on the blush and get so much color, so I just use Natural Glow first then a sweep of Pink and I'm glowing naturally all day! Only thing I HATE about cover-girl is they do test on animals so I will not be purchasing there products anymore along with L'Oreal, Maybelline, Lancome, MAXFactor, Neutrogena and alot more. I've only just become aware of this which is horrible because I should already know these things but from now on I'll avoid these products they don't deserve my money.

Seeing this as one of the featured reviews jogged my memory that I have this blush and quite like it. A few years ago, I was taking an international vacation and didn't want to bring any of my regular makeup in case the airline lost any of my stuff. So I picked up a bunch or drugstore replacements, not really intending to love any of them. However, this blush is one of the items I have held onto. As others have mentioned, it is a light peachy color with a bit of shimmer, and probably wouldn't show up on darker skintones. I am NC20-25, and I had to apply a few brushstrokes to get it to show up on me. It's subtle, as the name implies - gives a natural glow. Blends nicely and lasts the whole day. It also photographs beautifully. I did take off a lippie as the Noxzema smell was very strong, and as other ladies have mentioned the compact I'd annoying. Overall, definitely worth the $5 or $6.

I'm going to add my rave review for this product, because I have been wearing it for literally, twenty years.

A couple years ago, I got caught up in the mineral make-up craze and abandoned my beloved Natural Glow, thinking it something more suited to a teenaged girl than a sophisticated woman. I, you see, had evolved beyond the mediocrity of drugstore cosmetics.

Pffffft. What a bunch of horse hockey. Recently, I've come to the conclusion that I have spent far too much money over the years on products that were no better than the drugstore products at which I turned my nose, simply because they bear the name of some designer. Stupid.

There are good drugstore products out there, and this is one of them. I recently rediscovered it, and was so pleased with it that I wondered why in the world I ever strayed.

Now, I am very, very fair. And it's true that this will not show up on those with deeper skin tones. It's definitely meant for those of us who are beyond the pale. If you do not fall into that category, but choose to purchase this product anyway, you will most likely come here to complain about how it didn't show up on you. I see it all the time, and it irks me to no end. They do make some products exclusively for us pasty gals you know. Let us have them and enjoy them, hmmmm?

Anyway....this is so lovely because the effect is exactly what the name implies...a natural glow. You will not get Pat Benetar streaks or stripper stripes or Raggedy Ann splotches. It's like skin, but just a little deeper. It's suitable for warm or cool complexions, and is the perfect foil when you want to do a bold eye or lip.

I've also found that this can work well as an eyeshadow. I apply a bone or champagne color from lash to brow and then sweep some of this into my crease. You get a natural but polished look that is just fresh and pretty.

Is it deeply pigmented? No. It's not meant to be. Does it smell weird? No. It smells like make-up. Is the compact awkward to handle? Ummm, maybe if you don't have thumbs or you're an Amazon warrior princess.

It's versatile, universally flattering, widely available, idiot proof and cheap. What more could a consumer ask for?

I am C2 so I am pretty fair. I wanted a blush that wasn't pink and would not turn orangy looking on me. This is perfect. It looks almost too dark in the pan but on, it is very pretty. The name is perfect since it does give a natural glow. Like I just got back from vacation!

I didn't like this. It didn't show up on my skin even after like 5 applications. I have pretty pale skin..I'm "fair" so I was expecting a pink like this to show up...it just kind of left a very lighttt dusting of pink with some shimmer...lame.
Let's get into the packaging ..it's retarted. You have to like slide the mirror and the actual blush together to make a compact...it's weird and confusing..the brush it comes with sheds and it's just limp.
It was $5.69 at Target. I got a cheaper one from Cover Girl called Cheekers in Natural Rose that works so much better as in, it actually shows up. It was $4.39

I just bought this the other day for the fun of it and I am pleasantly surprised. I am quite fair and used it mid-afternoon to bring color back into my face and it worked great. I don't mind the smell... it reminds me of the makeup I wore when I was fourteen. I would recommend this for any fair girls to use to brighten them up after a long day. I think I will also be able to use it on my lids as well as cheeks. Great buy for so cheap!
**EDIT** I have found I am using this almost daily with a mini kabuki for a pick-me-up of color. Super fair girls, go out and buy this.I am changing my rating to a big fat FIVE!
