I received a sample of this mascara with a free 7-piece Clinique gift. I am happy to report that I love it! The thing that makes this product so unique is the brush. It it double sided with both the traditional mascara brush and a comb. This combination allows for perfect application! My lashes never ever clump with this wand and makes them look so wonderful! Unfortunately, although I can rave all I want about the wand, the formula itself is lacking. It applies nicely and looks great, but it does smudge after a few hours. I'm not sure if I should blame the formula or my oily lower lids, but either way, I will only be using this mascara for short-term wear.

My lashes are naturally very thick and very long, but that does not mean that I do not need a good mascara. However, finding one that does not make my lashes looking like ridiculous spider-legs is a real pain. Believe me, I tried everything under the sun in the last 10 years with catastrophic results (drugstore and luxury brands, other cilinique mascaras etc), and finally, my search is over. This thing separates my lashes, gives them a nice colour, does not build up, does not make my lashes feeling heavy, and does not make my sensitive eyes wet. I don't really care for the comb part because it's useless for me, but the brush+mascara works for me like nothing else out there. I still had to take one lippie off as mine is getting older (6+ months) it dried up a bit and can get flaky.

This is definitely the best mascara out there. It is quite expensive, but it lasts for six months so it is definitely worth it. Also, my boyfriend told me how beautiful my eyes looked when I wore it for the first time in a while. It has two sides, but i prefer to use the combed side as opposed to the conventional mascara brush on the other side. It is so much better than the similarly named, clinique high impact mascara, which I found very average. This is my HG mascara because it lengthens and adds volume so easily and lasts throughout the day without flaking. It is also so worth it for how long the tube lasts. I would recommend this to anyone.

I'm sorry to say this does absolutely nothing for my lashes. Got this in a beauty box and would definitely not purchase it myself.

I love clinique mascaras and the formulation, but this mascara gets a 1 because of the brush. The brush takes almost no product with it, and it takes a loong time to get the right amount of product on the lashes, To use it up, i use a lancome brush in it and that works.

I tried this mascara 5 years ago and it was definitely one of the most wet mascaras and weighed my lashes down. I couldn't make the comb work; just clumped. Their Naturally Glossy Mascara is my favorite ever though so I highly recommend it.

I absolutely love this product. Previous to this I was using the Maybelline great lashes mascara, you know the one that looks like a watermelon, pink on one end, green on the other, but I found, it was making my eyelashes hard and brittle and when I took off my mascara, they were falling out. I found out about this product from my aunt who on her face uses nothing but Clinique. I loved her makeup and her lashes, so I upgraded to the High Definition. The brush is dual sided, one for brushing the lashes and the other (the finer side), for combing and defining. Even just using this one without eyeliner makes your eyes look bigger and sexier in an au natural way. I'll never switch. No one likes clumpy lashes. The price is reasonable, I buy 1-2 a year. If I buy one in Jan i wont need another till Oct or Nov, and I wear my makeup every day.

Best mascara I have ever used hands down. I got this mascara as a free gift when purchasing my powder from the Clinique counter at David Jones, and naturally I was eager to see what the little goodies they gave me happened to be and this was definitely my favorite. I already have very long lashes, which proved a problem with mascara as most would add length but the ends would all end up crossing over and it would become a constricted tacky mess of black wires framing my eyes, not a good look. This mascara manages to add a lot of length while keeping my lashes seperated perfectly. It also adds quite alot of curl and is very light weight, meaning that it doesnt drag the lashes down from its curl and it holds very well. Dries quickly, doesnt smudge. Just a perfect all round mascara for those who already have reasonably lengthy eyelashes. Definnnately reccomend!

I find this mascara very clumpy. I like the traditional brush side. It gives a nice natural look. However, the lengthening brush was horrible! I bought this at Macys for $16 and I believe buying an $8 mascara at Walmart is better.

Oooooh! This is my absolute favourite mascara.......EVER! I seem to collect mascaras and foundations,as they are my two favourite makeup items. This is my most favourite mascara! Love how thick and lush it makes my lashes look. Goes on quickly and volumises and lengthens effortlessly. And thats saying something for a lash-challenged girl like me. I don't mind that it isn't waterproof,as I prefer non water proof mascara anyway. Please never stop making this Clinique! I would cry :)

I received this mascara for Christmas and have been pleasantly surprised by it's performance. The brush has two sides, a flexible comb side and a traditional brush side. I find for individual lash definition and length, I prefer to use the comb side. This mascara does not flake or transfer, but it is NOT waterproof at all. I wore it while I had a cold and, and even a single tear from a sneeze left me with marks under my eyes. The tube itself is rather skinny, so you don't get as much product as others I have tried. But overall I would by it again as it is one of my favorites, especially if there was a waterproof version available.

I initially hated this mascara and was really irritated that I had purchased it. However, I have finally figured out the key to using this mascara, and it is a great product! I found before that the brush brought out waaaay too much product, but if you blot it a few times on a tissue, it works perfectly! It gives me really big lashes, great for evening! I had to mark it down for the poor packaging (why does so much product come out?), but I would definitely re-purchase.

I brought this before, and could not remember why i didn't like it. Now i remember. This stuff smudges. I know i didn't pay a lot of money, but for$14 this stuff shouldn't smudge. Oh well back to voluminous.

I have been searching for a new mascara since the one that I have been using for 10 years got discontinued and my stash finally ran out (lash stylist). I decided to give this a try since it had the comb applicator, even though I was a little discouraged that it doesn't come in waterproof. First, I applied a coat of XXL pro volume, then I applied this mascara using the brush first then used the comb to distribute the product more evenly. It is alot more "wet" then I am used to, but I found that it layered well without leaving any clumps. I am actually pretty impressed - I think I found my new HG mascara. It seperates and volumizes my lashes the same way, if not even better, then lash sylist did. Even though the price tag was more than I would usually dish out for a mascara ($18.00) I will be re-purchasing this in the future.

One of the worst mascaras I've ever used, certainly the worst I've ever owned. I was an idiot and bought it at sephora without trying it because I'd read it was good and it reminded me of an old rimmel mascara with a comb. I bought it in brown and no matter how hard I scrubbed the tube with that comb, I could barely get any mascara on the wand and the stuff that made it to my lashes clumped up and didn't lengthen at all. plus I lost the receipt. :(

On the bright side, I threw away the bottle, washed the wand, and now use it every day as an awesome eyelash/brow comb and brush.

I like the double sided brush and the colour but overall i dont really like this mascara. I found it very clumpy and mine dried out quite quickly after i purchased it. There are definatly better mascaras out there!

Pros:
- the brush gives you a really natural effect

Cons:
- the comb was clumped with mascara and therefore also created clump lashes
- takes awhile to dry

This mascara is different b/c the brush is 2 sided. You apply with the regular mascara brush side first, then you apply with the comb side. It really defines the lashes. It's one of my favorite mascara's that I come back to!

I tried this mascara after I purchased it and immediately I hated it. It clumped my lashes and smudged all over my eyes. So I threw it in the back of my makeup drawer. The other day I was looking to shake up my mascara routine, so I pulled this one out. The formula had dried up remarkably, making the mascara so much better. I wouldn't purchase again, since it hard to dry out first and I can find something better at the drugstore. But for you ladies who have a tube you aren't currently using, try again in a few months :)
