Perfect mixuture of FEMALE musk and flowers. Everyone will compliment you when you wear this. Although the bottle is completley different now, it is tall, cylinder, and has a flower for the top. I find that the perfume smells more cherry than compared to the other products follwoing this line. I think the triple mositure body lotion possess the best smell

I have liked this since it first came on the shelves at BBW which I believe was in 2002. By the way- I am not a big BBW fan. They put way too much alcohol in their products. I have yet to find a lotion there that is actually moisturizing or whose scent actually resembles the matching body spray/perfume. Anyways- I love this scent when the consistency is accurate. I have had bottles before that had too much alcohol in them which meant that the scent died down in the bottle. (Hope that makes sense) This is the only scent from BBW that my husband likes. Granted, he is picky about perfumes and his colognes, but it says a lot that he actually likes this one. Since it is cheap, I'll probably always have a bottle of it in my perfume collection.

Overall, this scent is not bad. What I like about it is it's sort of floral and aromatherapy--like smell. What I don't like about it is that it's heavy-ish and I don't like those types of smells. I wont buy this again for sure.

This is one of the 3 or 4 bath and body works scents that I love. Usually lasting power is my main grip about BBW scents, but this this EDT it has decent longevity, especially if I spray it on my clothes.

As for the scent, this is an interesting and complex fragrance, I smell some sweet fruit at the beginning, pear maybe? I also get a woody, sensuous base from this, cedar and sandalwood and amber. And of course the florals, cherry blossom and a bit of rose and some other florals I don't recognize. Beautiful and unique.

The packaging is gorgeous, and apparently a lot of people like this scent the best of all the BBW offerings because it has the most markings of "serious fragrance." I'd agree with that. This is actually a distinctive, sophisticated scent. Way better than most of the fruit-cocktail crap BBW puts out. I just happen not to like it. While I enjoy the cherry and ricemilk accords, this dries down to serious sandalwood. I HATE sandalwood. Ruins it for me. Same thing with Angel. Oh well.

I've liked this scent for a long time but I've only just now bought it. For a long time I'd written it off since I've heard people (mostly guys) say that it smells like a grandmother's scent, but since I don't really think that's true, I finally got it and it's one of my favorites now. It's such a soft and slightly powdery floral with a couple of sharp notes to keep it from being too soft. Really like it.

I love this scent! the first time I used it, I spritzed on some from a friend's bottle. At first, I thought that it was a bit strong for me, but after a few minutes, it settled to a very nice light musky floral. I couldn't stop noticing how nice it smelled! I had to go get a bottle. Now I wear it fairly often, and I almost always get compliments on how nice I smell!

I love BBW's version of the Japanese Cherry Blossom scent. It's a bit stronger and last's better on my skin compared with The Body's Shop's one (which has very poor lasting strength and a very faint scent). Despite being a bit stronger, it is still gentle, soft, clean and slightly sweet from the floral with a powdery/musk dry-down. It's very feminine and easy to wear year-round. Love this and one of my favourites from BBW. Will repurchase and hope they don't discontinue anytime soon!

I love this stuff. I have pretty much every product under this scent. (if that makes any sense) Basically, I have the floral water, lotion, spray, perfume, body butter, shower gel, bubble bath and I love it. It's amazing. People always give this to me for Holidays and what not, so I will probably never need to buy it again because I have so much of it.. But I just love it. It has a nice and tranquil smell. The packaging is gorgeous.

This is probably going to be one of my repurchases. I never really was into fragrances until I came upon this one! The scent is it not overpowering or strong to the point where it hurts your nose, but it has a really feminie, soft kind of scent. Very wearable. It CAN be, however, too strong if you spray too much! I usually just spray it once on my wrist and dab some behind my ears and then rub the remainder between my two wrists. I stop smelling the scent after a while, but when I bring my hand up to brush the hair away from my face throughout the day, I get a nice wisp of the scent and am reminded that I am wearing it! =) I bought one in it's new packaging and loved it - I went shopping and noticed that the old packaging ones were going for $6.75 a bottle! So I bought me an extra two for backup, as this scent is an everyday wear for me!

This is such a lovely fragrance for the spring. Just perfect when cherry blossoms are actually blooming. It is a fresh scent that is very subtle, so is very workplace appropriate. I bought this when Bath and Body Works was having a sale and will repurchase when I catch it on sale again.

I was a little wary of this scent because of its popularity. Fortunately, my body chemistry is a bit psycho, so fragrances always smell radically differently on me than they do on "everyone else." For me, the dominant note is a warm, incense-y, almost smoky scent, very similar to some imported Japanese cinnamon incense I once burned through in record time. The BBW Web site does mention cinnamon incense as a base note, and it's quite distinct on me. I think of this fragrance as wearable cinnamon and absolutely love it, particularly since it settles into this base note almost instantly. There's still lots of sandalwood and a little cherry blossom, but mostly incense. All that being said, if I over-apply, it's quite overwhelming and very much the recognizable JCB I frequently smell on other women - apply lightly! I find that BBW EDTs last 18 hours or so on me without turning into anything weird.

The sandalwood overwhelms this for me and while I can tell there's pretty floral feminine notes under there somewhere, it's so much blasting dry sandalwood that I have to scrub. No sale, even at their decent prices.

I heart this perfume! It's only $24.50 but should be like much more, it's a very weird thing for me because I normally wouldn't pick a scent like this but I love the way it smells on me! I want to try other BBW perfumes now :) Oh you should tried to buy this went they their crazy sales, I bought this and got the lotion for free and then they gave me coupons to use and gave my he creamy body wash for free also, same day! <3!

I haven't used BBW in years and only recently started getting back into buying their products. Mostly due to the fact that before everything they had smells overwhelmingly fruity and very generic. I really have to give it to them however because nowdays BBW actually have nice fragrances that smell sophisticated and complex.
Such is the case with Japanese Cherry Blossom. I first ordered small body spray unsniffed and with the name like Cherry Blossom I expected it to smell flowery and light. However, I was taken aback by rich and sophisticated scent i was sniffing. This is definately a floral-oriental with some fruit notes which incidentally do not come through for me except for ume plum(which is a pickled plum that's used widely in Japanese cooking). The dominating notes(to my nose) is vanilla, amber and incense. There is a hint of cherry blossom but only a hint. If you are looking for fruity or light floral this isn't it. However, I just recently purchased edt, body lotion and body splash because I really enjoy this scent. I think this is sophisticated scent and that's why some reviewers calling it "old lady scent"(insert me rolling my eyes). I think this is a unique scent and doesn't smell like any other fragrance I've tried before.
I will definately repurchase if I ever run out of it

I love this perfume! Idk if they changed the packaging, but mine is the Japanese Cherry Blossom sheer EDT. I got this as a birthday gift from my sister. It smells great! It smells exotic! And since it's sheer, it doesn't smell too strong or anything even though it is an EDT. It has the perfect amount of scent. You don't need to spritz on a lot and it lasts for a long time! I love the bottle! It's absolutely beautiful! Smells great!
