This is my all time favorite mask, if I go on a trip with weather changes or if it's the time around my period, I will use this mask every night on my chin and nose for 20 minutes to prevent anything from popping up. I LOVE IT!

I had tried the Proactiv sulfur face mask and loved the results it gave me. That has 6% sulfur so I thought what could 10% sulfur do for my skin! At first I was afraid that this mask would really dry out my skin because the Proactiv mask does. The first time I used this I only left it on for 10 minutes, washed it off, and then dabbed the mask on a couple spots. This mask is amazing for my skin. It really helps tighten my pores and refine my skin. It also shrinks or completely eliminates any pimples that pop up. The second time I used this I left it on for 20 minutes. I was shocked that this doesn't dry out my skin like the 6% Proactiv Sulfur mask does. I bought this off of ebay for 35 dollars including shipping which is cheaper than at sephora. It is a TON of money but it will last forever because you don't need a lot of product. I would definitely recommend this. I still use the Proactiv mask and like it. They are both really effective masks.

I got this by accident. I meant to get the PTR sulfur cooling masque. But I’ve been using it since I couldn’t return it and I must say that I do like it. I use it once or twice a week and believe it or not, it has reduced a pimple for me overnight. It makes my skin feel soft after I wash it off and appears to be smoother, but I’ve also noticed that when I wake up to wash my face the next morning, my face is extremely dry and I have to use a heavier moisturizer on it. Other than that, I like it and will continue to use it. I can’t say that I would repurchase it because I haven’t seen a dramatic difference in my skin, but I’ll keep using it and report back.

This mask is quite effective overall. It did calms down my flare-up zits and it isn't drying, although it's kinda strong. My skin feels like it's deeply purified, yet it doesn't dries out my skin. It literally sucks all the dirt out, and my skin felt really clean. A must-try, despite the heavy price tag :/

I like this product, at least it doesn't like the other sulfur mask which is so smelly; it doesnt like proactive either which stinged my skin so much.
although i selected "buy again", i hope i dont need to buy it again:P

This mask is okay, nothing special but decent. I like that it doesn't dry out your skin but doesn't get rid of the zit fast enough for me. I've been using it for a few weeks now and it seems to dry out zits at a snail's pace. I've come to the conclusion that sulfur just doesn't do anything for my skin to the point where this 10% sulfur mask didn't do that much. I will probably use this on days when I am just at home relaxing to feel pampered and use it up but other than that, that's it. I'll go back to my Benzoyl Peroxide, even though it's drying but at least it works.

This is not the first time that I purchased this mask, it has to be the third. Initially, it was okay. I noticed that it helped to diminish the appearance of pimples and breakouts, however I believe it may have clogged my pores. For instance, if I applied the mask to a pimple, a few days later, the skin surrounding it would breakout with a tiny bump or two. Now, Im thinking that it has something in it that does not agree with my skin. However, i don't want to give up on it because i have not come across anything that works as effectively. Maybe i was using it to often. I remember applying this mask to my face every other day, or every three days. I believe that with certain treatments, such as masks and peels, you should only use it once a week. Im not sure. I don't want to return it to Sephora because I don't know what else to try, but Im slowly giving up on it. This is not my HG; Im still looking for a decent mask. However I'll keep it around until I find one.

Too bad everyone else seems to like this mask so much but it does nothing for my skin except everytime I put it on it burns so badly and I had to wash it off ASAP. Even after I have completely washed it off it still burns like crazy.

I toughed it out in hoping it will help does any good for my skin but it does absolutely nothing.

No thanks.

I LOVE THIS MASK! Anyone who has acne MUST BUY THIS MASK. It clears up acne and sucks everything right out of your pores. I put it all over my face every three days, and use it as an overnight spot treatment as needed. It is expensive but worth every single penny. The only con is that it smells a little like kitty litter, haha, but that is a small price to pay for such a fantastic product :)

I picked this up at Bath and Body Works on the 75% OFF table- For $10, you can't go wrong- now I wish I'd bought 2! I use it as a full mask every few days, and as a spot treatment overnight. So far it has shrunk the cystic ones I had due to stress, and zapped the other smaller ones I had here and there. Definitely a great mask, not sure I'd pay $40 for it- I guess we'll see when the tub is empty if I repurchase! UPDATE: Well the first time i put this mask on my face i was quite broken out, and two weeks later i'm completely clear-skinned. I have no doubt, this is something I will repurchase even at full price.

I have been using this for about 2 weeks now, and I LOVE IT!!! I have had problem skin for a long time, especially after stopping BCP. I have been using this every day, just a very thin layer and leaving it on for about an hour. And also using it overnight on spots. It has stopped a big pimple from coming out and cleared up smaller ones in 2 days. I couldn't be happier!!!

Before I begin, I just want to say that I own the Sulfer cooling masque which is pretty much identical to this masque except for the cooling eucalyptus that's in this cooling masque. Now, let me say that this is the BEST masque EVER! It works so much better than the Proactiv masque because this masque contains 10% sulfer, not 6% like Proactiv. The 10% sulfer works great everywhere on my body including my face, neck, shoulders, chest and back. Those are the areas that I can, and do sometimes break out. I hate body acne and this product is the best one I've ever used. Forget those body sprays that don't work, use this at night and in the morning your blemishes (zits, whichever you prefer) will be next to gone, if not gone completely. The price seems like a lot (40$) but my first 5oz. jar lasted me over a month and this second bottle right now has lasted me over 2 weeks already and I havn't even used 1oz. of it yet! Only a little dab does the trick. My personal tip: reapply throughout the day to get clearer skin, faster!

This is BY FAR the best product I've EVER used on my skin.

Let me begin that I'm 21 and I've had acne since I was about 10. I've been on rounds of Accutane but never managed to stay clear for long after the treatment.

I tried this product about 3 months after I stopped taking my first month of my second round of Accutane (only took about 2 weeks worth of medicine, not enough to attribute my clear up to that). I stopped the Accutane because it was messing with my TriGlyceride levels. Not cool. I wanted to continue my search for something topical.

I fell into this product at TJMaxx. It was missed marked for $7.99 instead of the other jars for $24.99. I figured for $8, I'll try it. Best $8 my skin has seen.

I literally haven't broken out ONCE since staring this mask about 2 months ago. This has *NEVER* happened. My skin is SO clear - I no longer need foundation.

I do however have to say that I use this mask as a light layer every night before bed. I leave it on for about 20 minutes, every night. My derm says that this is okay. Obviously a jar won't last me as long as people using it 2-3 times a wekk, but that's okay.

I am fully ready to pony up the $40 when I need a new jar. This has seriously been the best product I've found for acne. I can't stress it enough.
It's expensive, but go to Sephora and get a sample.
I cherish this product, my skin is finally able to shine after years of being mortified about break outs.

I bought this mask at TJ Maxx for about $25...now I wish I'd bought more than one! I read about it as a recommendation in Dr Baumann's "Skintype Solution" and it is a great product for my OSPW skin. It makes it smooth and bright with no irritation. I use it once a week for 10 minutes. I'll be going back to TJ's to see if they have any more!

I'm a 36 yo PPP OSNW. I bought this as it was on my recommended product list from Dr Baumann's "Skin Type Solution."

I have oily rosacea prone skin. When I first started using this, I had lots of redness to my cheeks, and more extreme redness along my nasal-labial folds. It was bad enough that I would get lots of stares and comments.

I noticed improvement after the first treatment. The redness was reduced to a degree that no other product had given me. It sucks up oil well, and also seems to act as an exfoliant for me, as I notice some blackhead shedding on the nose sometimes after using this.

After about three months of use, my redness is very much under control. I do have some pinkness that some other PPPs have, but nothing that is as bad as it was.

it is a bit pricey - I pay about $40. It lasts me about 6-8 weeks. I use it on my whole face 2-3 times a week, and as spot treatment for zits and increased redness as needed, but that has been occurring less often. For the results, I feel that it is worth the price.

While sensitive, I did not have any reactions that I have had from other masks - mainly the ones that have some eucalyptus - it seems to be an irritant for me. The only issue is that if I leave it on for mroe than 15 minutes, my eyes will sting and water. I usually remove it after 10 minutes.

If you are oily, and also sensitive, I would definitely recommned this. It has helped me a great deal.

I like this mask quite a bit, though I honestly can't tell whether or not it's helping my skin. I use it once or twice a week. It does help quell irritation--surprise!--as long as I don't leave it on for too long. My super-oily/sensitive/acne-prone skin feels rejuvenated and looks much healthier afterwards. It didn't work as a spot treatment, and leaving it on, even just a tiny spot on the forehead, longer than ten minutes is olfactory torture. :-P It is sulfur, after all.

Great mask for my acne-prone skin. It's also a super spot treat. I like the slightly tingly feel from the ecalyptus. Sulfur seems to work great for any existing zits on my face. I feel like you get alot for $50, so I will repurchase this, but I think even if I used it twice a week, it would take a while.

This is one of the best masks I have tried. I like this and the Fresh Umbrian Clay treatment. I have an oily t-zone, and this mask applied once or twice weekly prevented breakouts. I noticed that I didn't have as much acne as usual. I can't smell the sulfur scent that everyone is referring to. I also use benzoyl peroxide (DDF) in addition to the mask as an acne cream as well as to clear up acne scars.
Edit: unfortunately this dried up in the pot and is difficult to apply now. Guess it's time to buy another one.

Definitely my HG mask. I have normal skin that is very prone to breakouts, and this mask used once or twice weekly does wonders keeping my acne at bay. It also helps to shrink/dry pimples that are surfacing, decrease redness and inflammation, and declog the pores, especially on the nose. I like this more than the DDF one, even though both have the same amount of sulfur, because this is a hardier clay and I feel it absorbs more oil and clarifies the skin more. The DDF one would probably be better suited for sensitive or dry acne-prone skin.

I bought this mask as I am always trying new products for my combo, acne-prone skin. I've used this mask as a regular "weekly" skin treatment mask but also on spots overnight to help dry up pimples, and it works really well for that purpose as well. I like the tingly refreshing feeling with this mask but may irritate those with sensitive or already dry skin. For people with combo or oil acne prone skin, I'd recommend trying this. A bit pricey but I will repurchase.
