I swapped for a sample-sized tube of this, and I'm glad that I did not buy it or get a full-sized tube. It has a bubblegum scent that I don't particularly care for. On my lips on its own, it looks too milky and has an unflattering shine to it - almost as if I didn't wipe my mouth after drinking a milky beverage. Like another reviewer mentioned, it also gives me a strange tingling sensation. It looks *okay* layered over a lipstick, but nothing special and certainly not nice enough to overcome the dislikes that I have for it. NC30 with pigmented lips.

I am in love with this lipgloss. I love the sheer nude/milk color it gives my lips. The best way to descibe the color is coffee with a lot of cream. I detect the smell yet its a tacky lipgloss, so it doesn't seep into my mouth. Also I sheer it out a bit as my lips are pigmented and I don't want to have my lips dissapear into my skin as I am fair/cool toned.

I love this lipgloss, yet am not a fan of the taste/smell and that's why I wouldn't re-purchase. However, the color is a lovely milky nude that nicely covers my pigmented lips without looking streaky or opaque. The staying power is pretty good, since this is rather sticky.

Since I'm not really a fan of the taste, and I find that MAC C-thru is almost identical in color, I won't repurchase this one, but rather stick with C-thru. But if you happen to like the taste and smell it's a great color and gloss. I recommend it.

I have very fair beige toned skin and love this color for my complexion. My lips are pretty pigmented though, so it never looks ghostly opaque on me. The bubblegum scent is pretty icky to me personally and it leaves me with an odd tingling feeling too that I do not appreciate. Although the color is really good, the scent and sensation are bad enough that I would not repurchase.

I got this in a swap from a terrific MUA'er (thank you, melbloom!) and initially hated it because the milky appearance and the nude-beige tone on my bare, pigmented lips looked awful, like I had spilled some vanilla milkshake on my lips...NOT an attractive look. But then I tried it over a l/s (MAC Viva Glam III, to be exact), and OMG, what a gorgeous, subtle shimmer...it just made the l/s color pop! So I think for me (NC27 with very strong yellow undertones, chestnut hair, dark brown eyes), I have to wear Chai Freeze over something else. When I do, it's dazzling...It's a bit sticky, but the consistency is a bit thicker than other l/g's so it has better staying power and a little goes a loooooong way. And I love the bubblegum smell...one of my friends kept raving about Juicy Tubes and now I know why.
UPDATE: Swapped this one away because I couldn't deal with that thick, milky look...

I got this as an extra in a RAOK so it was free! What a great JT! It's become my HG Mod lipgloss of choice since it is lighter than my lips and makes me look very 60s - just add black e/l and I am ready for my class of 1968 senior picture. It also tastes good and feels good on the lips! Yay!!

this is the most moisturizing jt i've ever had, and i've owned around 8, so i love it for that reason alone. it doesn't feel that moisturizing when it first goes on but give it a chance and you'll feel it. the color is also very pretty. i had my doubts because it looked like the light milky beige might wash me out, but it goes on sheer and neutral with some shimmer. very natural and pretty. also smells/tastes like bubblegum, which took me by surprise since it's called "chai freeze", but i like it. a great jt!

I got this as a free sample (thank you Shoppers Drugmart!) about three months ago. Of course, I threw it into my purse and happend to discover it today. I immediately rushed to the mirror to see how it looked. At first, I applied a thin layer. It looked nice, very natural, wet looking. I liked it. Then I decided to apply a bit more. At first I thought it wasn't my colour; I'm quite pale, and it looked a bit too yellow for me. But then I stood back, and realised that it was such a pretty colour! It's a very natural, everyday shade. It doesn't really add much colour, but there is something about it that lights up my face. Other than the "look" aspect, it has a nice texture (sorta sticky though, I wouldn't want my hair to get caught on it) and smells heavenly sweet. I would buy it again, but since Juicy Tubes are pretty pricey, I'd have to choose between my favourite, MAC's Prrr, and this (such a hard choice!!). Overall, a lovely lip gloss.

Not bad at all. Got it as a GWP, and on bare lips it shows up as a very pale milky pink, then becomes almost clear. I prefer it over a lipstick. Nice shine, very good staying power, smells nice, not to mention the taste - it has some sort of sweet chunks - yummy! I won't purchase because there are lots and lots of good l/g out there, much cheaper.

A terrific gloss for the nude lip look.Wears a long time and goes on smoothly without looking too milky.I like this more than MAC C-thru lipglass but I really hate bubblegum smells/tastes;I think it's the nastiest stuff ever,so I took off a lippie.

I received Chai Freeze as a gift that came with 4 other Juicy Tubes. This is my 2nd favorite color. From the tube, Chai Freeze is a peachy beige color. On my lips, it is very sheer with some shimmer. Like other Juicy Tubes, it is a bit sticky, but not too much. I love the bubble gum scent. In addition to the bubble gum scent, there are small sugar bits that taste like bubble gum. Yummmm!! Though I liked this lipgloss, I would not purchase when it runs out b/c I have way too MANY lipglosses.

I got a little sample-sized tube of "Chai Freeze" with my Macys.com order. It smells sorta fruity, and tastes very sweet in a tart, rather than sugary, way, if that makes sense. The color is a milky, yellowy, pale beige-nude with a slightly pearly finish, not too frosty. I thought it'd look weird on me (PPP-MMM/AAB with yellow undertones) but it makes for a pretty, unexpected, glowy nude lip. This is not quite brown enough to be a real nude color IMHO, but it does tone down the natural pigment in my lips. It is hard to smooth out the color so that it looks even on me, though. And this reminded me a lot of my Milani Crystal Gloss in "Secret". I even tested them on my lips side-by-side and could only see a faint difference--the JT was a little warmer-looking. Ditto when swiped onto white paper. The JT also seemed to have either a better consistency (thicker) or better pigmentation--But these are all very minimal differences. I'll use up my sample of "Chai Freeze" but I won't miss it when it's gone.

Makes my lips really pop-out. And makes them look truly plumpy, very sexy and just the perfect amount of shine. It is a little bit sticky, which is great because that`s what makes it last longer. BUT: Watch out so you don`t over-apply!

this really reminded me of MAC's cthru lipglass....but the shine and lasting power of MAC is better....although u do get more for ur money with the JT & this goes on more evenly....the scent is really pleasant (ahem...unlike L'oreal CJ).....and it applies smoothly....this is great for gals with super pigmented lips who want that "nude" look....looks great when paired with NYX l/l in "natural"..for reference,im C5/C40

I've been waiting for this product to come out for months.

And finally, in June, it arrived with the rest of the JT Cherie collection.

But I'm a little disappointed.

It's a nude color, but it doesn't apply well. Because of the color (usually JTs are less pigmented and more in the glitter department), this JT does not apply evenly on lips. And it's a bit too yellow-gold for my liking to be termed as a nude-beige. Washes me out a little.

I just got this yesterday, but it isn't the "pop" version, but rather the new "Cherie" version. I didn't expect to like it, but when I tried the tester on at the counter, I loved it and bought one right there! It's a slightly shiny, pretty, nude-ish/soft pink-ish gloss that would go perfectly with the smokey eye look. I used to have Clinique Chubby Stick in 'nude ice', and this gives almost the same look, but better! It's not as shiny as say, Dreamsicle (my other fave), but it still does have a beautiful shine to it. It did make my lips a bit lighter than they naturally are, but I actually like that sometimes because it gives me a softer look. Juicy Tube's are a bit sticky, but they don't bother me at all. They last long, and don't leave a yucky white film on the lips either. The scent of the Chai Freeze is the greatest! Smells like Juicy Fruit bubble gum! Also, this color could be easily worn to the office and then to a night out on the town. Very versatile. They're about $15 or so bucks, so a little on the high side, but well worth the price in my opinion. (JT's are addicting!) :)

Pretty, sheer, sparkly, easy to wear...over-apply and it looks like gunky foundation on your lips though...use a mirror! The taste is so zingy and really wakes me up!!
