This is my favourite cleanser of all time, and I'm so sad it's been discontinued. It's gentle, it doesn't sting and it leaves my skin so soft. I initially bought this cleanser to go with my clarisonic, but I've found that it works just as well on it's own - without clogging my pores. Unfortunately, I'm on my last bar, and I can't find another cleanser that's as gentle as this one. I know muac has come out with a liquid version of this though, so I might have to purchase that to see if it can compare. But I will definitely miss my green tea bar soap!

I purchased a sample size Green Tea Bar because I wanted to start using the 40% Lactic Peel and it was recommended. Pros: Cheap. I broke off about 1/5 of the sample to use and after 5-6 uses, the piece still looked untouched. I paid $2.50 for the sample size bar, so it is a very inexpensive cleanser. I also love the smell and how well it lathers on my face, and it is very easy to rinse off. However, that's where the pros end for me. This product is just too drying on my combo skin, which is very strange. It even kind of stings while I'm lathering it on my face (again, weird, because I also used the bar to remove eye makeup and it didn't sting my eyes). So I used this bar for several days as my daily cleanser, each time it stinging a little and leaving my skin dry. I then went back to my regular cleanser and my skin went back to normal. My skin just doesn't agree with this bar and I'll be using a different soap-free cleanser while I'm using peels. I'll definitely keep this around to remove stubborn eye makeup, and as it was so cheap, I didn't lose anything by trying it out. I think this would be a good daily cleanser for someone with oily/acne-prone skin.

I received a sample with my peel, I have to say it is so nice. I break off a piece and use it to remove my makeup and as an overall cleanser, this leaves my face feeling amazingly soft and thoroughly clean.

I was so disappointed to discover that this soap caused me to develop blackheads. It has an amazing lather that leaves skin feeling soft and clean, but not stripped. Of course, it is wonderful to use after applying a MUAC peel. For some, shea butter clogs pores, so if you know this is the case for you, it is probably best to avoid using this soap on a regular basis.

The soap is light and leaves my face free of all oils and dirt. It got rid of alot of bumps on my face and also kept my pores looking small. Does anyone know the ingredients to this soap? I cant find this information anywhere on the internet, and it doesn't include it in the packaging. I am a satisfied consumer and I will purchase this product again. I also love the glycolic peel 30%.

I was so excited to try this because it sounded really gentle and nice, but lo and behold it broke me out =(. Right when my skin had cleared up, I used this for a couple days before my first glycolic peel and within that time, I had a bunch of little pimples forming around my jawline....once I quit using this, they cleared up...Since this only consists of green tea, glycerin, and shea butter, I'm thinkin the shea butter broke me out...I was really sad that this didn't work for me, and am not sure how I'm going to use up the rest of this bar! Luckily I only bought the $2.50 sample size one.....it might work for others, but not my clog-prone, sensitive skin!

I absolutely love this cleansing bar. It cost about $10 for a bar.... but the bar is 3x's larger then most cleansing bars.....so even though you pay a bit up front, it is definately worth it....my bar lasted about 3 months; and I used it 2x's a day! It leaves my skin soooo soft. I have acne prone skin...in the past, I always used sulfate/soap based products on my skin...and it was a mess! Soap products causedI cracking around the corners of my nose, and flaking on my cheeks. But not this wonderful gylcerin based product..... I'mSooo glad I switch to this product.....it is well worth the price. All of MUAC products come in very plain wrapings, but dont let that deter you.....the quality of their products are excellent!!

This product is a glycerin based "soap-less" cleanser with green tea and shea butter. I received it with my glycolic acid peel set and was really surprised how much I liked it. The scent is light and refreshing. It lathers and cleans very well. My face feels super clean after using. The results feel similar to soap as it is drying, but I have oily/combo skin and it works well for me (better than any other true soap that I've tried). I just use a light moisturizer afterward. Definitely would buy again.

this product is my new HG. After all the years of battling acne and scarring I stumbled upon MUA late one night and after reading all of the reviews- decided to purchase some products from Makeup Artists Choice. The Green Tea Cleansing Bar reviews were fantastic, so I opted for a full size bar on my order, and at $10 it was such a deal. I used it 2-3 times a day, and after 4 weeks it hardly even looks used. A little tip though-I cut it into 5 pieces to make it easier to handle and that way I can keep one slice in the shower and one slice in the soap dish on the sink and the rest in a ziploc baggie. So far, in combination with my MUAC Argan Oil (see my review) and a 15% TCA peel-I finally am starting to have beautiful skin. I never realized how much regular acne soap was stripping my skin and I will never go back to soap again.
The packaging was minimal, the smell is light and pleasant but barely noticeable, and the lather is rich, but not frothy. Shipping was 3 days from order, which is unheard of. Have already placed an order for the shea butter cleansing bar next along with a 40% glycolic peel as well as the 8% Beta Hydroxy Serum.

Love this non-soap cleansing bar! A small piece comes as part of the kit for MUAC TCA peel & that's how I discovered it. Knowing it's really super-gentle for freshly burned off skin that's raw & delicate is an important thing. But I never bought this bar by itself. It was just too expensive IMO. Whenever I do a peel for sure I'll use this bar. But other than that I'm happy with the other organic cleansers I typically use on my face. This is a great gentle cleanser however, especially for ppl w/sensitive or troubled skin.

Things I love about this soap: beautiful creamy lather, cleans a day's worth of makeup and mascara with 1-2 latherings, nice mild smell, lasts absolutely forever and ever. It's a bit drying on my oily t-zone / normal cheeks, but it's nothing that a light gel moisturizer can't fix. If you want a basic bar that just cleans, neither greasing up nor stripping your skin dry, this is perfect. And did I say that it lasts forever? Probably 4-5 months with twice-daily use. Well worth the price.

Awesome bar, left me refreshingly clean especially in using other MUAC products and peels. I loved the way it lathered and went on my skin. Definite re-buy and definitely worth it!!!

i LOVE this cleansing bar. it leaves me very clean, very easy to use. and it lasts a realllly long time. it's not like those liquid cleansers where you pump it out and stuff and within a month, it's gone. the bars are slightly bigger than regular soap bars and i just love it. has a slight nice smell to it. really satisfied.

I have to say I was skeptical about this bar, but it really does soothe skin after a peel and helps keep redness to a minimum. I have to use tepezcohuite soap most of the time to keep acne away, but when I've done a peel or just want to start off the way without my face being so red this stuff helps. Doesn't cure redness, but does help with it. I got this as part of a MUAC peel kit but will buy it again separately when the time comes.

This will be HG for morning cleansing. I received this as a sample with my peel and I am in love. My skin is quite sensitive and this helps calm it in the morning. I will definitely buy the full bar after the sample runs out. MUAC is awesome.

This suds up easily and leaves skin feeling soft and clean. I use this for my face (especially pre and post-peel) and if I leave it in the shower, I find that other members of my family are picking this up and using it too. Not just be accident, because they use it and then use it again!!

I have been using this soap for almost two months now and am so impressed by the fact that it cleans the oil and makeup from my face and doesn't make me break out at all! I admittedly hate change and it took me awhile before I'd break from my routine and try this soap out (it came free in my TCA peel). I waited and waited for the initial "new product breakout" to happen and it never did!
It does seem to leave an ashy, waxy appearance after washing but you don't even notice it once makeup is on. My hyperpigmentation (from old acne) seems to be darker after washing with this but maybe it's just my imagination. I like to alternate by using this in the AM and then exfoliate with St. Ives at night.
Just used the last of my sample bar and am getting ready to use my brand new big bar I purchased last week!

I am 34, ex sun worshiper, and I get acne once a month. My skin is not really dry or oily- pretty normal. Got this as a sample with my tca peel. I am not a big wash your face with soap kind of person but I am now. I love this soap!!! I will buy this when the sample runs out. I feel like it really gets my face clean and it feels so gentle. . My face also feels really soft. I am also doing the lactic, salicylic, and glycolic peels so keep that in mind. Waiting to do the tca when I get brave enough. Anyways, I want to buy one of these for all my sinks and showers but they're $10 a bar so I will refrain. I also want to add I have used every high end facial cleanser out there as well as drugstore brands. This is my new favorite!!
P.S. I have been using the sample for a week and a half now and I think it could last probably
