Another lifesaver for me - I have the largest pores to mankind... at least I feel this way... I normally use this on date night and it does pretty good in concealing those pores of mine...
I just wish I could find discount codes on most of the stuff I try

I've had this sitting in a drawer for ever now. I had purchased to add on additional products for a GWP event. I had never really used it to see it's effects. I had recently bought a new foundation and had heard people say that it had a tendency to make skin oily, so I had reached for this to see if it would help. I've used this almost everyday for a week, and I have yet to get oily. And for the past two weeks i've had extremely oily skin, which I haven't had in about 8months. I use a tiny little bit and just put it on my t-zone and my chin. I'm sad to hear this product has been discounted because I love it!

I am devastated that this has been discontinued. This has been my HG for over 20 years (i liked it better when it was in the green tube) it worked amazingly well for me!! Had I KNOWN it was going to be discontinued, I would have purchased back-ups. I didn't know. This didn't get a lot of love on MUA, but nothing worked as well--for me. Am allergic to EVERYTHING, so there's no way I'll be able to replace this product. Am sooooo sad... and angry. Bleep you, Clinique!!

Didn't see an improvment with this product. In fact it made my t-zone very oily and overall my skin was looking bad. Not happy with it. Not buying it again.

This is the only Clinique product I like, and have been using it for almost 10 years. Its a total HG for me, and one thing I can't live without. I use it every day, and it controls my shine perfectly. I can add more later in the day on top of my makeup and it blends perfectly. If you are looking for something to control the shine on your nose area, then this is it. Although, it does nothing to make my pores look smaller, so I only love it for the shine control. One thing, if you use too much or don't blend it properly it will leave a white residue dried on your skin. I highly recommend and will definitely purchase until they discontinue.

when i first used this i didnt use it everyday & it had no impact on my pores at all! i was so disappointed.. then a few months ago i started using this everything after my moisturizer & before my foundation. I cut out using a primer. it acts as a primer & I noticed the pores on my cheeks are smaller now! It takes consistent use but it works over time!

I have very oily t-zone area so I had high hopes for this product but unfortunately it is not worth the money. I've applied it various ways. I've applied it after moisturizing my face, after foundation, after full makeup. It does have a mattifying texture right after I apply it but after within an hour, my nose looks oily again. There is a generous amount of product so I just carry this around instead of a powder to mattify my nose area from time to time. But you have to be careful with that though, because if you don't blend it well enough, it'll leave a weird residue on the tip of your nose.
Maybe I just have an extra-oily nose

This product does mattify my t-zone somewhat, but the effect is only marginally longer than not using anything at all. I purchased it a year ago, had a couple of tries and hated it. Since then I was advised to improve on my moisturizing because I was apparently not doing it enough, and this alone helped control my oil production better, making this product work a teeny tiny bit better. I don't see an apparent pore minimizing effect.
The product has a silicone texture and can separate in the tube, so it should be well shaken before using.

Having an oily T-zone and getting tired of blotting my face every few hours or so, I looked up a good oil control product and found myself reading Clinique's pore minimizer reviews. I was impressed and excited and so I went to a counter and bought one (with tax around $20).
Knowing my days of endless blotting and re-powdering are over, I put this on to test it the next day and voila! No difference at all.
I wanted it to work, so I tried it again the next day, maybe I applied it wrong or whatever. Sadly, this is like applying thickened water to your face--except that it costs 20 bucks.
Thank God for those return policies.

I love the matte feel I get when I apply this. It's the smoothest my face ever feels. That's the reason I got it. For those of you thinking it's too watery, perhaps you've got an old version? The one I have is brand new and it's a nice gel and hasn't settled in the 6 months I've had it.. I had an older version and yes, that one did have a watery constitution.
I don't know that it 'minimizes' pores though.. there's no way to make pores shrink. All you can do is keep them clean so they appear smaller. It does control oil well for me, but I wear this without foundation and that seems to do the trick.. I'm not sure how it works with foundation on, because foundation itself would probably add a layer of oils, etc...

This product is decent, and it actually does control shine depending with what other product it is combined, be it foundation, tinted moisturizer or just any day cream.
PROS:
-controls shine more or less
-decreases apparent pores around the nose
-feels smooth and nice to apply
CONS:
- only works well with foundations or any products that aren't too satiny or oily (so, its claim to control shine doesn't work when I most need it)
-if you do not shake the tube the product comes out very watery
All in all I would still buy it because it is actually a good combination with most of the creams and foundations I use.

This doesn't work well as a primer pre-foundation. It doesn't create a smooth base and made my foundation look sort of.. bumpy or scaly? Another thing... this worked better at controlling my oil when I lived in a more dry climate, it kept my oil away all day (6-8 hours!) But now that I've moved to a more humid climate, for some reason, it just doesn't last (2-3 hours). I would definitely say this is a product you need to try for youself (maybe get a sample)... it just doesn't work for me.

This product really works to help control my oily t-zone. I didn't see a lot of pore minimizing but it does leave a soft surface on which to put makeup and the smooth finish lasts for about 4 which is huge with my oily forehead and nose.

OK, I originally gave this a less-than-glowing review. However, after testing out some new products, I have to say this actually is a great primer and is great at controlling oil on my t-zone. This still doesn't make my pores look any smaller, but my t-zone is definitely less oily, and I really only have to blot once a day. This goes on like velvet an can be worn over or under make up. I suppose I may be buying another tube to keep around.

I do like this stuff. It controls my oil very well and I hardly ever have to use blotting papers through out the day (with this product). It did not make my pores any smaller, however. Overall, I am impressed.

I've been through 3 tubes thinking I just wasn't noticing the difference, but I don't think I'll ever buy this product again. Will probably try the perfector instead. ONCE. Because I was THAT disappointed with this one. Seriously did nothing for my face. FAIL.

This stuff is good! I cant tell yet about my pores being smaller and all (I have ginormous Italian pores that will never shrink) but I can for sure see a difference when it comes to shine and oilyness.
I use this in conjunction with milk of magnesia and I seriously do not have to blot later on in the day. At first I did but not now. My oily face is under control.

very disappointed because this product doesnt do anything to my skin. it doesnt control the oil, moreover i feel my T-Zone shines much more than without applying it. it doesnt worth that much money.
