these are fabulous for us older women. I'm 57 and I love these. I got the Not So Nude and Skinlights compacts. They give a beautiful sheen to the eyelids, and looks so natural. I use the lighter shades under my brow bone makes a beautiful and natural looking highlighter. The color I use on my brow bone looks just like my Anastasia pencil that cost me $35!! And these are under $5 at Target.

The colors are so pretty and the eyeshadows are so easy to work with, but these have so little staying power. The pretty colors are so unique I can't find anything to set them with, without altering the color (even translucent power)
I'll use them up but I probably won't buy these again. I love the second pink, though. The picture isn't true to the colors in real life, but it's very pretty.

I am always looking for cream shadows and I had been using the Maybelline cream shadow trios for an entire summer before I saw the Revlon ones. While Revlon has better colors than Maybelline, the quality of the shadows is horrible. I hate waste, but I had to throw this quad away. There is almost no color payoff and the color creases immediately. The texture is waxy and strange. Overall, not a product I would recommend.

I bought this based on review by dddoxie. Always looking for MAC dupes. I never wear cream shadows alone. I always wear udpp and use the cream to change my shadow colors. I like this very much. I just apply a little on lid with my fingers and put a corresponding color on top. The compact isn't easy to open but I love the mirror. I might consider buying again because I can see myself hitting pan.

I picked up this product because I had seen it in many makeup collections. I use it over my udpp, but it still ends up creasing about 2 hours after I apply it. I know so many people who rave over this, but it feels really oily on my eyelids, even with the primer and set with an eyeshadow.

So Revlon re-vamped their cream shadows. The original ones weren't bad except for the fact that they creased (I was a huge fan of them as a teen). Now fast forward about 5-10yrs & Revlon's now producing this junk instead. The "compact" it comes in is sleek. You can see the colors through the "windows"...oh wait. That is the product sitting in there. You get what is about maybe 1/2 of what they used to give you. Never mind that the colors look fantastic in the "compact" yet when applied they don't show up. At all. Even over UDPP. If I could give this a 0 I would. It's expensive for the lack of product & crappy product color pay off. Don't even think about buying this unless you can get your hands on the older version in the big clunky "compact".

This is nice little collection of cream shadows, all go well with my skin tone, and are easy to apply. I will probably repurchase but only if I can't find the deepest shade on its on, thats the one I wear most often.

UPDATE: Found Maybelline Color Tattoo 24 Hour Cream Eyeshadows. They don't crease and last all day. No need for a primer with these. Much better than the Revlon cream shadows.

I was surprised at how pigmented this cream shadow is I use it on my daily looks (neutral browns/smokey eyes) as a base and then I use eyeshadow on top. I really like how this shadow is creamy and ass a bit of shimmer to your eye which is super cute especially if your doing a "kim kardashian" type look. I brag about it on my youtube tutorials have heard other great reviews as well. It does tend to crease which is why I use a primer firt then the cream shadow then I put another shadow on top to set it. Overall great product just bought 2 more to stock up =)

This creme shadow quad has 4 'dupes' for MAC PPs. I own all of the PPs I'm referencing below, so I swatched each of the dupes to compare colors and texture.

From Left to Right:
Fleshtone/Peachy shade - comparable to Painterly but more peach colored. Revlon formula is much creamier and easier to blend than Painterly.
Pinky/Peach/Gold shade - comparable to Rubenesque but more pink. I actually prefer the Revlon shade over Rubenesque because it is a much more flattering color for me (NC25, brown eyes & hair). Rubenesque tends to pull very orange/gold on my lids.
Champagne shade - comparable to Bare Study but less gold. Much more creamy and pigmented than the PP.
Bronzey/Brown shade - comparable to Groundwork but with shimmer. Pigmentation is much better than the PP.

If you're just starting out with m/u or don't want to spend $17.50/PP, this is a great alternative. I highly recommend using a primer underneath though. When I do so, the colors never crease. I also recommend applying and blending out with your finger.

I love these colors! I love cream shadows in general, but this pleasantly surprised me with it's colors and tone quality. I have to use a base, yes, but most cream shadows require that, so not a big deal. If I use a little more, I get a rich color that looks beautiful with a shine and gleam. If I use a little less, I get a sparkly sheen that gives my eyes some depth. I love this, and would recommend it to anyone (being a woman of color, that's saying a lot). Not many cream shadow colors suit me, but these did, and they wouldn't look clownish on anybody's complexion because of the way Revlon made this... this is a gem in Revlon's crown!

This eyeshadow cant be worn alone because it will crease. It does provide a good base for neutral shadows, but you must layer it with a primer, then the cream shadow, then the powder shadow or it will crease. The colors are all shimmery with the exception of one color. I wont buy these again because they CREASE

I have these in many colors and overall I am happy with the product. These give a light, translucent glow to your eyes, and increase the staying power of powder eyeshadow if put over a primer first. My only complaint is that they sold each color individually because I really only like 2 colors in each palette. If you use these on their own and have oily lids like mine, then you must use a primer before hand because they will crease and will slide!! I have found that just a little on the brow line increases the luminosity of my eye makeup. I would never use this as a primary eyeshadow.....

I am really happy with this product! I can understand why some others aren't big fans, but I think those same reasons are what I like about it.

These are very sheer colours. I'm finding them perfect for my minimal makeup look in the summer. I use either the brown or the beige (depending on my mood) on my lids as a sheer all over wash, the lightest colour I use as a highlighter (under the browbone and on top of the cheekbone) and the rosey colour I have actually been using as a cream blush. So in this one palette, I'm getting three different products!

I have very dry skin (even in summer) and I don't have much trouble with creasing. Occasionally I might have to give a quick blend with my finger if I notice it, but really it hasn't been an issue at all (I use no primer, just a swipe of light foundation when I'm doing the rest of my face). Also, I find it lasts very well. I usually do my makeup around 8am and take it off twelve hours later at 8pm. There is always trace of the shadow on my makeup remover wipe.

The packaging isn't fantastic, one lippie off (not sure why its upside down when you open it? My older one isn't like this), but that's totally reflected in the price. Again, these are very sheer, so if you're looking for more punch, this won't be for you. But I'm loving my summer look this year, and its the only thing I've been using!

I love this little guy. They don't serve as great colors on their own but they are awesome bases for creating gorgeous undertones when topped with other shadows. I use the matte peach every day to create a beautiful champagne peachy neutral eye. You must use a primer underneath these or they will crease like mad. The lightest shade is the perfect cheekbone/collarbone highlight! I would repurchase for these two shades alone as I never use the others.

First of all, if you're looking for cream shadows with lots of pigmentation, this is not the product for you. They are very sheer, and if you try to build them up they WILL crease on you. Despite that, they are gorgeous if used sparingly and blended well. I find myself reaching for it a lot when I'm going for a certain undertone under my usual powder eyeshadows, or if I just want to have something light on my eyes. I don't use them for longwearing shadow bases because they do crease over time. From left to right, here are some of my thoughts on each shadow:
Far left- A light peachy pink/creme colored matte... the one I use the least because it doesn't show up well on my skin tone, but still very pretty to use under another shadow.
Middle left- A medium-tone pink with golden shimmer... the one I use most on my lid. It has the most beautiful golden shine over a subtle pink... sooooo pretty.
Middle right- A light, super shimmery creme color. I use this a lot on my browbone because the shimmer is so strong. It'd probably be a good inner corner/tear duct color Far right- A medium-tone brown with slight shimmer. Really nice if you want a deeper lid color without sacrificing the shimmer. I use this a lot at night if I'm just going to run and errand or get something to eat with friends, because it's dramatic enough for me, but not overly so.

Overall, I do recommend this quad if you just want something light and are willing to use a little at a time, as opposed to packing it on to try and get a strong color. It's nice to have in my collection, and at first I hated it (I was expecting "Sha-BAM!" pigmentation :P) but after working with it and experimenting more, I would repurchase.

I find it hard to rate these because the rating really depends on how you intend to use this product. It works nicely as a cream base for powder eyeshadow, or by itself over some primer IF you are looking to achieve a sublte, almost-sheer look. If you want more vivid colors for a brigher look, you'll be disappointed. The texture is smooth and creamy, but the colors just don't have much pigmentation, even after being applied in layers. I have liked some of the other cream shadow quads from Revlon, but this one was a bit of a disappointment.

These are really great if you're using them for every day or work situations. They can be a bit sheer but that's part of the charm, that they're light and natural looking.

These go really well with my complexion and eye color, and I would suggest them to other people with 'warm' skin undertones. The only color in the quad I'm a little unsure of is the ivory colored one. It doesn't blend as well with the others but is still useful for using in the corner of the eye to make them 'pop'. And by the way, these blend remarkably well.

Beautiful piece, highly recommended

Very disappointed in this product. I purchased it because the colors look gorgeous in the pan. But they go on so sheer that I oculd hardly tell I had anything on. I kept trying to build the color but could never get any kind of color payoff and what little color I could finally get lasted about 60 minutes max. So then I tried using the lighter colors as a base for other powder eyeshadow. This failed also because these shadows do not have any staying power. I gave the pan to my friend's daughter and have gone back to regular eye shadow primer. Judging from the reviews others have had better luck with these shadows but they are not for me. I only gave them 2 lippies because the colors do look stunning in the pan.
