This is undoubtedly the WORST kabuki I've bought. It sheds like there's no tomorrow, and I'm left looking like I've got black whiskers growing out of my face.
It wasn't so bad when I bought it. But now, after little more than a year, I merely have to run my hand over the brush, and voila, I have some 5-6 bristles stuck to my hand.
I have vowed never to make the mistake of buying this brush ever again! It is an absolute waste of money, and a waste of time when your running late for work, and have a bunch of bristles to pick off your face and neck.

A little on the fence with this brush. I love the size and the fullness, sweeps on makeup with ease. I do however find it a somewhat irritating/prickly on my skin and I don't have sensitive skin. Maybe its the type of hair they use. Over all a very good brush.

I was really happy to stumble across this brush at a CCO. It's very dense and soft, and hasn't shed any hairs since I bought it! I use it to buff in my face powder or to blend harsh edges after I apply blush. I was a little disappointed to see that it was made in China, but otherwise I am very happy with it!

I do like this brush, but i must admit that i dont reach for it often. Received it in a swap, but didnt get the bag that came with it, so for me, it is a bit of a hassle to store. otherwise it is nice and dense and does not shed. Would be great for powder foundation.

I absolutely love this brush! I put off buying it for the longest time due to the ridiculous price, however after owning this brush for over 2 months, it is totally worth every single penny!
I use this brush to apply my HG powder foundation (Clinique Almost Powder) and it blends the powder into my skin beautifully.
The brush comes with its own case so it keeps its shape and keeps it more hygienic too! I've washed it a good few times, it dries nicely and doesn't shed.
The best thing about it is how firm but super soft it is, no more scratchy brushes for me now!

This product can not be beat. Best compact face brush out there. My mom loved it so much that I gave mine to hers and tried the Chanel version... very disappointing! I'm going to take back the Chanel brush and purchase the BB Face brush again! Even though its pricey, its worth it. I had my other one for over 5 years and its still like new.

I LOVE BB's Face Brush. It is the *softest* brush I have ever used and is absolutely wonderful for applying bronzer for a soft diffused glow. I haven't noticed any shedding or "tangling" like I have with the zillion other brushes I've used previously for applying bronzer. I took off one lippie, solely due to the obnoxious price. Would I repurchase .. yes .. but at $50, this bad boy better last for life! Props to Bobbi for creating such a magnificent brush!

I use and love this brush for dusting on my LM Mineral Finishing Powder, mainly, but I also like using it as a blush brush. It's very soft but not soft enough for buffing, unfortunately. If you need to buff mineral foundation into your face this brush can be scratchy. Still, I love it and think it is better than the Chanel one (they look like twins).
I'm giving it 5 lippies for doing an excellent job at what I bought it to do: DUSTING powder and blush.
UPDATE: This brush has a contender now in the dusting department: the LM skunk. I hardly ever use it now as I also have another blush brush that I love.

The face brush seems to raise the price again. I think the price is a bit too much now.
The bristle is soft and density. However the carry bag is too small, easy to zip the bristle, and easy to change the shape of the brush. I used to wash the brush before first time using. The bristle are very dirty.

I am used to buying MAC everything, but I decided to expand my horizons and purchase a Bobbi Brown face brush! This might be premature to say since I just bought it yesterday, but I love it! I use it to apply my Mac blot powder. I used to use the applicator that came with the powder, but I always felt I was wiping a dirty sponge on my face. The Bobbi Brown face brush is so soft and fluffy. Minus one lippie just because $40 seems like to spend for this lil ol thing.

I love this brush and use it every, every day! I use it to apply my Shimmer Brick, though I have also used it for powder blush as well as loose powder--with a wash in between of course. It's big enough for full coverage without being one of those insanely fluffy brushes, it's soft, picks up and holds the powder well without getting too much and making me look overdone. It's a great brush, and I like the little carrying case which protects it from the chaos of my makeup bag. I marked "Would buy again" though the way this one is holding up I hope I never have to

I love this brush! I use it to apply my loose powder, and to blend in my highlighter (Heatherette or Fafi beauty powders). Great quality, doesn't irritate my skin, and I love the little pouch it comes with.

I use this darling little brush for pressed powder foundation, and it's just a pleasure to use. It's soft, the perfect size, and applies powder just beautifully. I also have the mac 182, but i prefer this one. UPDATE: Just needed to write again how much I LURVVVE this brush!

the brush was soft and gave good application, but i have noticed a few hairs drop out and ive only had it for a week. the little pouch for it though is unbelievably handy for carrying around when clubbing, and considering its price compared to other face brushes, it's definitely worth it.

I have had several face brushes and this one is the best. I had to pay for the quality, but it's worth it. I use it everyday. I don't think that I will have to buy another one. This one is well put together. I just have to wash it periodically.

I bought this brush a month ago. The brush is very soft but firm enough to apply mineral make-up beautifully. I just bought another of the Bobbi Brown Face Brush because I use two foundation colors. This brush is perfect!

This brush is amazing! It's full and soft and it is perfect for applying powders. It shed a few hairs when I washed it for the first time but now it's fine. I love the little bag it comes in too! Handy for touch ups!

I purchased this brush recently to apply my Philosophy mineral makeup. I had been using the sponge buffing applicator that comes with the product, but this brush really made a big difference in the overall application. I'm really happy with it so far. I have never used a brush this soft. My initial experience with Bare Escentuals was disappointing in part because of the scratchiness of their kabuki brush, so the contrast with the Bobbi Brown brush is especially striking.
I've had some shedding, but it hasn't really been a big deal and I'm expecting it to taper off after I've "broken in" the brush. I'll update this later once I've had a few weeks to work with it, but so far, I'm really pleased.
**UPDATE** After about a month of use, I'm happier. Shedding is no longer the issue it was at the beginning, though I'll still find an occasional stray hair on my face. The brush has nicely maintained its soft, supple texture, and my skin appreciates it!

I would most definitely repurchase this if I lost this. This is a soft well made kabuki style brush. I use it to apply pressed powder as well and blend my Crazed blush when I have applied a lil too much on. I have only had very minimal shedding (maybe 10 hairs) so that's not an issue with me. It's reasonably priced at $30 and comes with a cute pouch.

When I wash this with mild shampoo and light conditioner (yes, conditioner, it works for the hair on my head) it is so soft I don't even want to gunk it with powder. I just sit and stroke my face with it. (TMI?) But then I do get around to using it and it's quite simply the most wonderful brush in the universe. Not BE, not MAC, not even the vaunted Delectable kabuki comes close to the fullness, softness and density of this brush. It applies any kind of powder like a dream, whether it be mineral foundation or face powder or even bronzer. I have not had any shedding issues either. I can see myself using this brush for many years to come. For its performance, $30 is a relative bargain.
