I got this in "Fuschiamania" for free with my rewards points. I wasn't expecting much, but this is a really good polish. The first coat was a little streaky but the second was fine. It has good wear time, and I love the bottle, it's cute lol. The color looks red on the web site for some reason, but it's a creamy fuschia in reality.

I bought eye popping poppy and I must say it is a beautiful color . It's like an orange pink red, doesn't pull too much of any of the colors, just a beautiful mix. But the polish is way too thin. I need about 4 coats to just get opacity from the polish. i do love the color, but it makes me hesitant to try other ulta colors, I'll stick with my trusted revlon and Essie nail polishes from now on

I'm so enamored with the Ulta polish I just picked up, in the shade "Oh!" Being not a fan of orange-y cosmetics, Oh! is the first "orange-y" polish I've ever actuallly LIKED. Imagine a creamy pale (but not too pale) orange sherbet shade infused with a fine spun-gold shimmery GLOW. Sooo beautiful and perfect for summer! I also found an apricot Ulta lipstick that matches the shade super well... it's #204. Both the polish and lipstick are surprisingly elegant formulas, attractively packaged. For the price, they truly can't be beat. I've used nail polishes that cost five times as much, and don't go on as well. The polish takes a bit longer than is ideal to fully dry, but is very forgiving going on, and it's long lasting. It goes on as smooth and level as Chanel polish, no joke!... with no bubbling. "Oh!" is not a streaky polish, even at one coat, so you can wear it sheer or go for two coats which will get you the same gorgeous "sunlit sherbet" shade you see in the bottle. This is my first Ulta polish and I'm sure I'll be back for another! The shade selection is quite nice, and if you like subtle shimmers as much as I do, you'll be in polish heaven.

I bought one of these at Christmas and I am so impressed! I find like nearly all nail polish chips on me within a couple days. Nothing lasts. But this does! I have a little tip wear but no chipping! :) Love it!

I was expecting the quality of this polish to not be that great, but I was wrong. I got the color "Sweetheart pink" it stayed on for about 7 days didn't chip or anything definitely long wearing. The only downside is the top to it broke off and constantly came unattached.

i first bought ulta nail polish a few months ago when i saw it on sale for $3. i had bought some OPI colors the day before and went to get more the next day when i saw the sale on ulta polish. i played with all the colors in the store and i loved how smooth it went on without any streaks. i thought for the price it was just s good as OPI so i bought almost 30 colors and returned the OPI. I love this polish because most of the time you only need 1 coat of polish but i found that it takes a long time to dry. i recently saw it on sale for $2 and went and bought more colors. i am very excited to have my own polish so i can stop spending money at the nail salon to change my polish. i now have this polish in 35 colors and i love them

Ok, so I got these 2 colors as a gift, then I tried them on. I have a blue and a yellow, both medium darkish colors. They do go on very smoothly, and I could have gone off with one coat. They are not my favorite nail polish, but they are acceptable for my standards, I guess.

This is terrible nail polish. My 7 year old daughter picked the color Princess, and although it is a pretty color the polish is terrible. Barely showed up after 2 coats and clumped up and was pretty much all off in a few hours. The packaging is poor because the black top separated from the plastic insert right away. I will not buy this again.

packaging- simple and functional. nothing fancy and it's not hard to hold/use/store/travel with.
color variety- in stores it's not the best, but online is pretty good. i have to say that the colors are hit and miss when it comes to the representation online. (for example, TUTU CUTE was on my WL and when I saw it in person I changed my mind pretty fast.. it was darker and warmer in person)
value- ulta has online deals where you buy 2 and get 1 free so I will keep buying them that way, though I just bough one on its own in store... I like the taller salon formula ones (most of the colors i want are from that range) and $5 a bottle seems pretty resonable to me for some of the colors.
You can return online purchases in-store, so that is a HUGE reason why I like ulta. just FYI I just bough Heirhead and it's adorable. looks a tiny bit warmer on me than in the bottle, but not in any way that changes my opinion of it :)

This is specifically a review on Ulta Nail Polish in Piņata-Yada-Yada (Lippmann Happy Birthday "dupe")...
After trying Milani Gems & Wet n' Wild Party of Five Glitters, also considered "dupes" for Lippmann's Happy Birthday polish, I expected more from this Ulta dupe. The pink glitter that was missing from the Milani was there, and I had my hopes up. But it was not to be! The formula for this polish really let me down! Goopy, goopy, goopy! Hardly any glitter stays on the brush if you swipe it inside the top of the bottle to take off the excess goopy clear polish. So, unfortunately, If you want a good amount of glitter, you have to plop it on in a thick layer and work with that. I, wanting more than a few specks of glitter that I could get if I swiped the excess goop off the brush, used the thick layers to maximize glitter, which takes quite a while to dry on the nail.
Ulta did get the colors & sizes of the glitters down & the square bottle is cute. However, the cuteness is over-ruled by the fact that these square tops tend to need to be angled on the square base in order to close tightly when you screw them back on. This alone might cause anyone with OCD to go mad! lol I happened to get lucky & found a bottle where the square top of the brush closed & was in line with the bottle.
Because of the thickness of the formula, glitter is very hard to place in any controlled manner on the nail. This was not the case with Milani Gems, however, and I'd suggest anyone who can stand to forego the pink glitter, should seek it out as opposed to this attempt from Ulta. I think I shall be returning this to the store. =(

As much as I love the colour range in this brand, I still prefer OPI - even if that is an expensive brand.
The only thing I find annoying about Ulta is the consistency of the formula. The colour never comes up as deep as the bottle with 2 coats, and if I apply more than 2 coats the colour is more prone to chipping.
The price is great but also proves that there are greater polishes out there if you want TOP QUALITY
The brushes could also be a little more fuller :)

I picked fours of these up for $6-- a steal! So far, they have lasted long (2 weeks with top and base coats), applied well, come off easily, and looked really good. I took off one lippie because some of the colors lack the dimension of brands like OPI . . . but I can pick up almost 7 bottles of Ulta polish for the cost of one bottle of OPI.

I only own one nail polish from Ulta brand called Capri Coral but it is soooo gorgeous! It's the perfect shade of red with a tint of orange. The polish is thin and does not clump so I'm very impressed with that. Also, It last a long time with a great top coat, I use Seche Vite. Just the prettiest coral I've ever seen on my nail. The only downfall is sometimes the brush part that adheres to the top sticks to the bottle so when you unscrew it you have to rescrew it and put pressure on it then open again. Other than that it's amazing.

I was extremely impressed with this nail polish. I saw it on sale at Ulta for only $2 a pop, so I figured it wouldn't hurt to try it. Concidering the price, I had low expectations. However upon application, I was very pleased. The polish had a nice thin consistency that didn't clump up on my nails and the brush isn't the greatest but it's workable. It dried quickly, is shiny, and I only needed one coat. Contrary to other reviews I noticed no streaking at all actually, the color is very uniform. I read other reviews and I'm not sure why their experiences were so bad. I used OPI base coat and Seche Vite top coat with a quick drying spray if that might have made a difference.... Overall, I liked it and will repurchase. Oh and FYI the black cap does come off easily.

Got a few of these polishes at Ulta when they went on sale recently. $2 well spent I must say! I didn't get any chipping for 4 days...this is a record for me. I am very hard on my nails and usually polishes chip within a day. I didn't expect much from a $2 polish, but I love them. I especially love Material Girl, which is a glittery plumy purple color. I will be wearing this color all Fall. One thing I don't like...for some reason the top (black) cap comes off really easy, so be careful when shaking!

I just purchased the creme salon formula nail laquer in tutu cute on sale for $2 and I have to say I'm pretty impressed, I wasn't expecting much, but I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of this. On the website tutu cute looks like a really pretty lavendar but sadly in person it's more like a medium purple. I like the formula. It's is decently pigmented and has a nice thin consistency. It's very easy to apply & I did my nails in less than 10 minutes. It dries quickly too. overall i'm happy with my purchase and would repurchase (I'll probably wait til they're on sale though hehe)

(updated 10/12) This is for the Ulta "Salon" polishes. I have 8 Ulta Salon Formula polishes: material girl, chic peek, starstruck, fine pruned, smoke screen, eye popping poppy, wild night, and femme fatale. The only truly disappointing one is "starstruck" because the pic on the Ulta website shows it as a purple/silver duochrome glitter (like SH purple gala, except silver instead of gold), but it's a basic silver holographic glitter. not ugly or anything, just not what I thought I was ordering. I also have problems getting this one to stay suspended; I have to shake it very vigorously to get the glitter to suspend evenly. the other ones range from average to very good. Aside from "eye popping poppy" they are all opaque in 2 coats, and apply like butter. They also tend to dry quickly, though I they're not labeled as "quick drying". Would I buy them again? Yes, but only if I can get them BOGOF because I don't think they're worth full price ($5). Luckily Ulta puts their polishes on sale pretty often, so if unless you've got to have one of the Salon polishes right this second why not wait and save some money?
