Of all the gradual self-tanning products I've tried, this gives me the best color. I get golden, brown, long-lasting color. However, the smell is all wet crackers!! I alternate this with Malibu Hemp self tanner, and the combination of the two really gives me a great, natural-looking tan.

Man- when I found out about this stuff it had already been discontinued. Finding this stuff was like trying to find Atlantis. I finally found it at Big Lots after searching about 8 different places, including 2 other Big Lots. I bought 4 bottles of it for $2.30 each. I would have bought more, but my hands were full and I couldn't find a cart near me. Anyway, I wish it came in a pump bottle but no biggie. WHY is it discontinued? Anybody know??

I use this product on my face twice a week to exfoliate. You apply it to your face and let it sit for 10 minutes or so and it will loosen all the dead skin. Wash with a gritty facial scrub afterwards and your face will feel soft and smooth. It's like getting mini peel. I've been doing this for several months and my complexion is better than ever. It's the best beauty product I have in my cupboard.

For starters, it smells pretty nasty and leaves skin feeling a little greasy, but as far as removing those little kp skin bumps goes, it works great. I would buy it again solely for that reason even though i've been wearing it for about 8 hours now and can still smell it.

This has such wonderful reviews, so I feel a little bad having to be the bad guy. This lotion was so oddly uncomfortable. It smells like cucumber and melon lotion, which is nice. The healing properties are great, too. However, after my skin absorbs the moisture it feels so tight. The tightness wears off into the day, but not after a long time. Also, this ends up rubbing off! It was like dry wax, and I was just so irritated when I discovered this. Even my boyfriend noticed, but he had no idea what it was and kept his mouth shut until I told/asked him. I had to go through a whole bottle of the stuff, and I have one more to go. This will probably be my emergency lotion, but after this one's all gone I'm not repurchasing.

I've been using this lotion to help with the ingrown hairs (and scarring from ingrown hairs) on my shins, and I'm terribly impressed. It's cheap, gets the job done, and if it really has been discontinued I will be incredibly disappointed. Why has Vaseline been doing this with their more popular products? My friend was devoted to their shave-less formula (can't recall the name), and we had to go scouring drugstores to stock her up when that happened. The AHAs in this formula are pretty powerful, so definitely do a spot check before applying all over. Also, read the directions! You really, really need to wear sunscreen if you use this product (and you should really wear sunscreen even if you don't). The smell leaves something to be desired and it takes about a minute to fully absorb, but at $3.50 for 6.8 oz it's quite a deal.

Great when you develop untoned skin. I can't get enough of the smell! I have no idea what it is but it's heavenly. I cannot feel it actually working but it makes my skin very smooth and bump-free.

This is my current everyday body lotion.

My skin type is extremely dry- dry enough in the cold months to crack and bleed.
And a while ago I had blemishes on my back- ( bacne?) using this product cleared up the blemishes and the irregular dark spots left from the (bacne??)
I apply twice a day after bathing. This lotion is thick, almost "glue like" in appearance, but it is not greasy and absorbs completely into my skin ( and I slather the stuff on).

It is also affordable and easy to find in any drugstore.
I did not realize this product was discontinued until I read the other reviews here.
How disappointing!

This is the only lotion I have ever used that makes the bumps on the back of my arms disappear- I love it! You must use it religiously- right when you get out the shower and before you go to bed every day and after two weeks you will be amazed. I love to pet my arms now, I am just so happy! :)

I just bought this yesterday so I dont know about long term effects on improving skin tone. However the lotion absorbs unbelieavably well. It is not sticky and my skin felt dry to the touch and very soft and smooth after applying it. I did not have any balling up effect. Also I have no complaints about the smell. It has a slight fuity melon-ish smell when applying it. However that goes away in a minute and my skin is left with a very faint flowery smell that I liked. Will update later!

Loves it. This stuff is effective but not gentle. Good for KP, good for dry skin. When I used to ride my bike in the winter, I rubbed it into my face until all the dead skin peeled off. Works great if you can stand it!

No KP here but I do have trouble with extremely dry heels and dark sun splotches on my forearms. If I use this on my heels nightly, they stay pretty all during the summer. I like that is is not greasy and I can go to bed without sox or put it on in the morning without sliding out of my shoes all day. I use it sparingly on my forearms, elbows and knees and can really tell a difference when I try to skip a day. I did notice that it is sticky for an allover body lotion especially if applied to heavily. So I probably wouldn't recommend it for that purpose. But it is great for light use on major problem areas! Will repurchase!

I absolutely love this product. I buy the biggest bottle (after bottle after bottle). I've used expensive products, L'Occitane, Korres, and always come back to this. It's about $4 and lasts at least a month or so. It doesn't sting my legs, even after shaving, and I have very sensitive skin. It has a light clean scent that it isn't overpowering. I highly recommend it! :)

I like this product. I have found very few lotions that moisturizes my skin effectively but this does the trick. I have pretty severe KP on the backs of my arms and mild KP on my legs and stomach. It completely eliminated the KP on my legs and stomach and did help the KP on the back of my arms. I have yet to find anything that will get rid of KP on my arms. I would recommend this product to others. My skin has improved using this product.**EDIT** I have found a new product that isn't as heavy. I have had to say by-by to this lotion and have traded my vaseline for Palmers Olive Butter Formula.

This is my HG body lotion. It doesn't break my skin out or cause irritation. It isn't greasy and absorbs quickly. I do notice a subtle difference in the way my skin feels and looks when compared to other lotions - smoother, shaves better, stays moisturized throughout the day. It smells great too but isn't flowery - my SO uses and loves it as well.

The drugstores around me stopped carrying this lotion and I wasn't able to find one to replace it that I liked as much. Thankfully I saw it recently and grabbed it; Vaseline didn't discontinue it like I had assumed!!

I bought this product based on the good reviews that i had seen on MUA, hoping that it would clear up my KP as effectivly as it did for other people. I can't honestly say that this helped my KP very much. I saw a slight difference but seeing as the KP on the back of my arms and all over my legs is quite severe the difference wasn't very noticable. On the other hand, for me this product was just as if not more effective than more expensive lotions containing Alpha Hydroxy Acids like Eucerin which costs about five dollars more for a smaller bottle. So yes i would recommend this, its worth a shot just because it wasn't a miracle for me doesn't mean it wont work for perhaps less severe cases of KP.

I am really happy with this lotion. It's cheap, easy to find, and comes in a tankard size for my obsessive moisturizing needs. I have KP ( keratosis pilaris, or funny red bumps on the arms, for the poster below), and this helps greatly as part of my regimen to elimate the dreaded bumps that plague me during the summer.

I use this after showering in the AM, and AmLactin in the PM, and my bumps are much, much smoother. The redness that also goes along with my KP is greatly reduced.

The smell is less than great; kind of cucumber-y. It fades quickly. The pump is annoying, and I can see how that wouldn't work as the product gets down to the end.

But, all in all, a good everyday moisturizer.

UPDATE: After a little while, this started to really irritate my sensitive skin. I have a feeling it's the strong, strong fragrance. Eventually, it made me want to gag ever time I smelled it. Now I have a full bottle in my closet that I can't even give away once my friends/family get a whiff of the smell =P. *Orginal review* I've been using this for about 2 weeks and I can say it is (slowly, but surely) getting rid of my mild KP (on the backs of thighs) and red marks (from scratching at the KP =(. The first night I used it, I noticed the skin on my thighs where applied was smoother. After a week of use, I noticed that the KP was mostly gone. Now, at two weeks, I can say things are nicely under control and old red marks are mostly faded. This lotion takes some time to do it's work, but it's really cheap and it works (at least for me). I only took off one lippie because it has a very sweet, cucumbery smell, and I'm not a fan of strong fragrance in skin care at all! The good news is that it fades reasonably quickly (I'd say within 30 minutes or so), so I can put it on in the morning, get dressed (it absorbs very, very quickly unlike most vaseline lotions I've tried), and it's faded by the time I get to work. Great product that works, and I will be repurchasing and using daily as part of my KP combat routine =)
