I was really excited to try this color but it just wasn't what I wanted. It goes on more black than green or blue and I already have a go to black. Problem I found with it is if you arent pairing it with a cool color aka blue or green then the undertones come out make it look navy and dont mesh as well with warmer colors like pinks, reds, oranges, coppers.... It isn't horrible but I just don't find myself reaching for it much.

I think this pigment is amazing when used wet. I have a 2.5 gram vial and have been on the hunt for a large jar. It makes for such a pretty nighttime smokey eye! For those who are unhappy with the consistency dry, try it wet, the colors stand out so much more this way!

I do like this i apply a black base and then this colour all over my eye lid. I just stipple it on do not try to blend then with the brush as wont i did not find that i could work this well as the pigments i feel are quite course. So its all over the eye lid for me.

I really don't like the deep blue green pigment itself, but I do like using it as a nail polish. The pigment itself is a little chunky and applies unevenly, in my opinion.

I am not very experienced with pigments but I have about 16 samples lying around and decided to give this one a shot. I was expecting it to be a bit much for me, definitely too dark...but I love it. I used it with Bare Study PP and Subtle pigment, put this in the crease and both waterlines. Blended like a dream. The waterlining has been absolutely bulletproof each time, all day long. And what a very pretty color.

I just like this color to darken the crease color. I don't really see GREEN in this pigment at all, possibly light flecks in the shimmer, but you barely can tell that there is green in there! It's easy to blend, but the color is so dark that you can't tell it different from black or a dark blue when its blended with other colors :/ Wouldn't re-purchase this one!

I love this pigment. Deep blue green and Grape are my favorite pigments. For Deep blue green, I apply Delft Paint Pot on my lid and then Deep Blue Green on top. Only on the lid. I then add steamy to the crease, and Carbon to the V. Line upper/lower waterlines with Blacktrack Fluid Line. Use MAC's eyeliner mixing medium and carry that deep blue green on the lower lash line. Just a beautiful combo that works on all shades of eyes.

This is a smoky blue green pigment. It is great for a smoky eye but not to great for everyday.

I really like this color, its the perfect shade for corners of the eyes or contouring, not too dark so that is cannot blend with very light colors but not too light so that it doesn't really contour.

FALLOUT! FALLOUT! FALLOUT!
Such a bummer because the color is gorgeous. But all I end up seeing are the weird greyish shadow bags under my eyes that, no matter how hard I try, always appear when I wear this pigment. My latest trick was to put the mirror down on a flat surface, so when I bend over to apply the pigment to my eyes, it falls down onto the counter instead of on my face. But even with that nifty trick, the pigment finds it's way down below my eyes eventually. Lame.
I think if this was going to be wearable for me at all there would have to be some kind of heavy duty plastification sealer involved, ensuring that every last molecule of color was trapped forever inside of some sort of encasement. And that just sounds like way too much work.

Too bad. So pretty.

MAC Deep Blue Green is a Pigment, promo size, that came in the MAC Magic, Mirth & Mischief: 5 Cool Capers. This is a pretty color in the bottle, but when applied, it almost looks like a shimmery black.. Which is disapointing, because it could be used to mix up so many looks. It's Blue-Green with silver and aqua undertones. I would repurchase, but don't think I'll have. I also pressed this pigment.

Deep blue green is a gorgeous colour. It's incredibly deep and rich, and is very much true to the name - there is no predominant tone of blue or green and no duochrome, it's just a flat blend of teal and black. The frost is visible without altering the colour or making the pigment clumpy. In fact, it's such a deep, smooth colour that it can be difficult to know what to do with it. I love it wet as a liner colour (it looks amazing paired with purples, pinks and lilacs), and have used it as a crease colour, but because it is so dark there is no way to tone down the pigmentation and make it softer. As a result I struggle to get it to work as a smokey eye. I've only rated it 4 for value because I am never going to come anywhere close to using this up since it is so pigmented!

Wow, I am in love. It seems that I never wear the same eye shadow two days in a row, but this is an exception. I am in love with the dark, truly deep color. The fact that the color changes depending on the light you are under gives my look a whole new dimension. This has become my go to color for smokey eyes. If you want something different that your basic black and is increadibly georgeous, then try deep blue green. You'll love it.

One of my favorites. Not for my everyday use, though. Very pigmented, a mix of blue and green in a very dark way. Good to try smokey eyes.

This is such a pretty alternative to black or gray to smoke out any lighter color. I agree that it looks even better over colored paint pots like Delft or Electrosky. I bought this at my CCO for $13.

I got this pigment in this year's holiday collection pigment set. I'm not sure what to wear this with but I am eager to try it out. It's so dark that it looks almost black on the skin, but in the light you can see the blue/green shimmer. I just wish it was a little bit lighter so the color shows up better.

if you have brown eyes and want a smokey eye.. use this!! its so dark. the teal colour and shimmer that shows up depends on what is under it but its an amazing colour. for brown eyes i like to pair it with grape pigment.

its pretty, but waaaaaay too dark. im normally a dark eyeshadow girl, but this one is still too over the top for me. its a very deep blue colour, i dont see where the green comes in. the only time this could be used is at night, but it does make a fabulous night time colour. make sure to use a light blue base!
