I still have hope that Chanel will bring this product back. It was the BEST stick foundation I had ever used. So silky, smooth and cool to touch. They made a BIG mistake taking this one off the market. Sniff Sniff.

What a bummer this is discontinued. Out of curiousity from the reviews I was lucky enough to find a seller on eBay. This is actually the BEST foundation stick I have ever used. I have oily/combo skin and was afraid this would transform into an oil slick at the end of the day, but not at all. There is a definite hydration effect and it looks absolutely natural. I have tried many other foundation stick type products like Bobbi Brown, Laura Mercier and Chantecaille. Either it looked to harsh and masky or it just didn't provide enough coverage or just slipped off to easy. I just don't understand why they would take a product like this off the market. I'll just console myself with the fact that this will probably last quite a while!

I love to use this foundation in the summer. The cooling effect is amazing! I'm sad that Chanel discontinued this product. I got both of mine on eBay. I have this in two shades, "Sand" (which is darker) and "Cameo" (which is lighter). Both match my FFF olive skin well. These are very easy to blend and don't clog my pores or cause breakouts. Hopefully I can keep getting these on eBay!

I am devastated that Chanel discontinued this stick foundation. I have been using this one for years and went through at least 6 sticks. The texture is very fine and goes on the face so smoothly. The cooling effect is a plus. Also, it doesn't feel sticky or greasy at all. The matte-but-somehow-dewy finish is just perfect. The packaging is very classy and slick. I have never been more loyal to any beauty products than this one.

Well I think the Chanel people have discontinued this foundation. I really like this product. Being a product junkie, sometimes I lose track of what I have in the drawer and completely forget about it for months. I recently rediscovered this great foundation stick at the bottom of my drawer and was quite excited about it until I noticed that I've forgotten to tightly recap it the last time I used this. *THE HORROR!!* It's shrunk to half its original size in the tube and doesn't apply as smoothly as before. I guess it must've lost its water content or something. Anyway, went to the Chanel counter to get an replacement and was sad to discover that they don't sell this anymore. But this was such a great product. Cooling and smooth. Gives a natural, slightly matte finish. Super portable (Don't you just love to take out a Chanel powder compact in the restroom?? You feel 10x more glamourous instantly!) Sort of like Teint Fluide Universel, but for on the go. *sigh*

I am always surprised when I find a product that I have used consistantly for a long time and discover that I never wrote a review on it. I guess some good products I tend to take for granted. I have been using Chanel waterlights foundation stick for at least a couple of years. I really like the feel of this foundation - the water makes it feel refreshing while being applied. I had to experiment around a little bit to find the right color for my fair with yellow undertones complexion. The lightest color was too fair and the second lightest too dark. A combination of the two is perfect (though pricey since I had to buy two). I find stick foundation is one of the fastest to apply and gives me light-medium coverage. I like that this can easily double as as a concealor if needed. I would repurchase when I run out.

At first, this stick felt just lovely on my skin. Cool and smooth, with buildable coverage. A decent match for my skin tone. A couple of days later, everything changed. This turned into an oil slick minutes after application - even on my super dry cheeks (luckily, it didn't cause breakouts). Gave it to a friend and she says her skin feels very grateful. So it obviously works. Just not for me.

I have never thought that I would like a stick foundation. Guess what, I love it. I like the finish and it doesn't get greasy on me either. Excellent for quality and simplicity.

Added: I have been using this for more than 3 months, and I love it so much. For the last two days, the temperatur reached 40deg, and my skin still looks good (I have combination skin). I highly recommend it.

I think I've found my holy grail foundation. I'm on my second stick and I'm still in love. I was stuck on Perscriptives Unmakeup until it got discontinued, and while I loved that, I wanted something with just a *smidge* more coverage, and less "watery" feeling. After it got discontinued, I got the Traceless which is basically overpriced tinted moisturizer; I wasn't too happy with that one. At the recommendation of a friend, I tried the Waterlights and fell in love. Its got the perfect amount of coverage: sheer to medium; goes on smoothly; covers and blends smoothly; and I have a *perfect* color match (Beige). I love, love, love this stuff. It feels like I have nothing on, but my face looks absolutely flawless. Perfection!

Wow, a great foundation, it covers perfectly everything, you can take it easily in your bag whereever you want and the colors are really nice, I have it in Sand and Wheat, I usually use sand, but if my skin get more bronzed, I use it in Wheat. It's not as cheap as other foundations, but I would purchase it again. It's really lovely.

I loved the way this felt. It has a lot of water in it so it feels very cool and has almost a gel like consistency.

However all that was not very helpful because I couldn't find a color that matched me perfectly.

Coverage is very light and I think this is a summer foundation.

Price is kind of high for this product.

I have to say this is another great thing from Chanel. The only bad thing about it is the price-I think I paid close to $40 for this. BUT,this is so worth it.I use it mainly as a concealer with nothing else on(foundation-wise). Just use with a concealer brush(not the really tiny-tipped one,but medium sized)on the sides on the nose(I get kind of red there),in the tiny fold on the chin and as a prep for e/s. Feels great, stays on great, makes my e/s stay on great and makes my face look flawless.I have this in No. 20 which is a great match for my FFF complexion. It also somehow manages to control the oil in my T-zone throughout the day and makes my shiny nose(LOL) stay semimatte.

I wanted to like it, but it felt really pore-clogging though I didn't break out. The color match was slightly off - I'm supposed to be Limpide or Cameo but it's a bit too yellow. I prefer VLWC or Mirenesse emulsion pact SPF 25+.

It's not meant for my skin type. I thought with 30% water to it that I'd be fine. I was wrong.

I have acne-prone skin and this did aggravate it.I imagine this is a fantastic product for combo or dry skin. Just not for acne. HTH

This has a nice creamy texture that makes it very easy to apply. I use this as a concealer for my undereye circles and the occasional blemish. I find that it does a good job at covering both. Will definately purchase again.

UPDATE:One too many makeup artists suggested my skin was dry.I've never been told that. I have combination skin. really quite oily in the t-zone. So while it doesn't add to t-zone shine it will make skin look parched.

Just got this today and must say I am loving this. I am a MMM with a bit o olive (yellow undertones) and this just brightened up my face and gave me a healthy glow that has stuck throughout a pretty beautiful (meaning oily for my skin) day....I am hooked. I wasnt looking for massive coverage and I dont like foundation feeling skin and this stuff really worked! I have two darker acne scars that this didnt cover, but my uneven skintone is smoothed. I also like the portablility factor. UPDATE: was putting it on the second day and the darn thing fell out of the tube and plunked on the floor! Called Chanel and they have heard this one before, so check that before you take one home.

I purchased this about a month ago in Beige, and find it is a good match for me (MMM, neutral coloring). Upon application, it feels cool (similar to Longo's Water Canvas), but the packaging is better that the other. It is in a stick form, and doesn't dry out. It also has some slip to it, so you have time to blend it b/f it dries. Coverage is def. sheer, so if you like a heavier coverage, it isn't for you. But, if you don't have much to cover up & just want to mask minor discolorations, redness, provide a "base" for your cheek color, and don't like heavy feeling foundations, give it a whirl. I'm giving it a "4" b/c it really is VERY sheer coverage-- almost too sheer if you're having a bad skin day.

Vey disappointed with this product. The coverage is very, very minimal- and for super-sheer foundation, I'd rather stick to my Becca LSC- and the texture is kind of strange as well. Not quite dewy, and not quite creamy. It's water-based, but I still felt it caught on dry patches on my skin. Also (because it's water based) it doesn't last very long once applied- with any humidity at all in the air, it tends to disappear into the skin, leaving a slight greasiness. Lastly, the packaging is problematic- the stick breaks very easily. Not happy, and will return to my various HG liquid foundations.
