it is OK, but not the best. the price is too expensive and maybe 80% of it goes to the package. the brush inside is not easy to handle, bristle is too harsh, the tweezer is ok though. and the mirror??? i just can not use it at all, make me dizzy...compare with baremineral and benefit, i like this one least.

By far one of the most expensive brow products I have EVER purchased. However this is one of the best you can currently buy on the market if you live for the "naturally flawless eyebrows" look. It takes more time to do your eyebrows with this product as opposed to a traditional pencil, but the results are truly flawless. The undertone to this powder is grey, therefore you will not look like you have anything in your brows even in natural or fluorescent lighting (ugly and obvious red pencil strokes in your eyebrows, anyone?). Another great thing about this is that you are getting more than your $65 dollars worth. One palette has easily lasted me throughout 2 years and still has a lot of mileage left -- whereas i'll go through anywhere between 4-6 pencils every two years. Great investment for anyone who can't leave the house without undetectable, flawless eyebrows!

Holy eyebrows this was expensive! I became interested in this product after a lady from the Chanel counter did my makeup at one of their events. When I came home I was shocked by how full and beautiful my eyebrows were and when I looked at them closely, they did not look filled in at all so of course, later that day I bought a kit. Here's where it gets rough: the price. I paid $70CAN for this kit not including tax. The price almost gave me a heart attack. Really Chanel? This product was amazing and I would buy it again but $70 for 3 colours and only one of them you will use- not the smartest system and horrid pricing. That for me personally is the only downfall of this product. However, one very unfortunate thing about this kit other than the price is that it does not cater to people with blond eyebrows. The lightest shade is comparable to Omega eyeshadow by MAC so if your eyebrows are any lighter than that, you're out of luck. One weird thing about this kit is that the texture of the 'shadows' or 'eyebrow colours' is so bizarre and unlike anything I've ever felt before. I did not find that it was compatible with a standard brow brush but only with their mini brush that came with the kit since the bristles are so stiff. Overall I personally really enjoyed the kit but am still deciding if it was worth it! Be very cautious when going to purchase this because if you don't like it, thats a lot of money to give away for a disliked product.

Again, not recommended for girls with blonde or red brows**

I love this brow kit. It is pricey but i have been using it everyday for almost a year and it is still as new. i prefer it to brow pencils. U can mix the 3 colors or just use one at a time depends on ur skin and hair color.

When I first tried this, I was honestly disappointed. It felt like I had to scrape the dry product off (Mac 266 didn't work too soft), and it applied very harshly and was hard to control. I love my Shu uemura hard brow pencil, still do. But I've learnt the trick with this powder, or rather wax brow product. Try using the brush it comes with but just light strokes on the powder and light long feather strokes across yr brow. Tilt the brush for a finer tip application and viola! Natural brows and last the whole day! Pricey and potentially hard to work with, I can use the darkish or middle dark brown shades but becos my brows are blackish, I prefer the darker shade. This will last forever, so I don't see why I'd repurchase. Lol. The Chanel compact looks amazing too, but super pricey for a brow product!

This is the best brow powder I have ever used. For years I had overplucked my brows on the top and outer sides- by the time I realised how ridiculous it looked, hardly any hairs would grow back. For me, it's less a case of 'filling in' bare spots, and more a case of essentially creating a brow shape along the top. Pencils looked way too harsh, and every powder I've used prior to this either looked too heavy or was the wrong colour match (I have olive skin and dark brown/black hair). I was amazed to see that Chanel's perfect brows looks so so natural. Given the fact I have virtually no hairs where I apply it, I can hardly see that I have any brow powder on at all! I a so happy! The powder comes in three shades, I use the darkest brown- I don't use their brush, its rubbish, I use my own softer one. The product goes on very faintly, I have to apply a few layers of this shadow to get the look I want, but the extra time this takes is definitely worth it, as the final result is very very natural. I HIGHLY recommend this, it's worth the money!

Yes, it is expensive, the brushes suck, but man, this product is good.

It lasts me for 3 years now, use it every day, bu with my own Anastia brush.
The colors are sublime, because cool toned, and not reddish, like most eyebrow products.

Though I do not have a lot of eyebrows left (why WHY was plucking so populair in the nineties??), I get complimented with my brows on a weekly basis.

Please, do not let the price hold you back, it really is the best out there.

This was an expensive splurge for me but it was worth every penny! I believe well groomed brows can impact the entire face and perfect brows do just that. I always come to Chanel products with high hopes and receive just what I had in mind. Love the packaging and the product, it's the total package.

Well Ladies and Gentlemen,

This is NOT the universal brow product it claims to be... There is not a color option for us light blonde's. The quality is very nice and as always the packaging is sleek, luxe, and beautiful just as you would expect from Chanel.

I would not re-purchase, or recommend this to blonde's or silver foxes, because there is no color match!

I like this product, but I have to forewarn others before they invest in this product that it is not the absolute best eyebrow kit out there. In fact, I don't think the cost balances out with its value. I've paid $70CDN for this product, which is outrageously expensive for basically 3 eyebrow powders. The reason why I love it is because I find the set in "20 Brun" is cool-toned (grey-toned) unlike a lot of other brow sets I've used in the past and that it wears for a very long time. As with most brow powders, the finish is very natural because you don't have the same control with a brush and powder as you may have with a pencil or pen. I have to admit, it's slightly more work to use this set as oppose to a pencil that you can swiftly draw in. I know you may be thinking, "so if there are so many negative points about this product, why do you still like it?" At the end of the day, I think that this brow set is a good basic staple to have especially when I am not too fussy about how precise I have to be with my brows. I have naturally thick brows that just need a little filling in so that the tail end is darker. So you see, I'm not hard to please. As for the brush that everyone complains about, I agree that it is very wiry and hard which is why it can feel scratchy and rough on the skin. I don't like that it's so rough, but I understand that the brush has to be rigid enough to pack enough of pigment on my brows. I've tried using softer brow brushes and it never seems to work as well with this powder. My gripe is if anyone has to spend $70 on a brow kit, it better crazy good. Sadly though, this product isn't that amazing. I like this and will continue using it because I am a Chanel junkie. To be honest, if it wasn't for the brand, I don't think I'd be repurchasing.

i am just so underwhelmed with this. this set isn't at all what i expected for that much money. the compact doesn't dazzle me, the much coveted Chanel logo doesn't do it for me. the velvet pouch simply attracts dust and dirt when in my bag so i don't use it.
the little brow comb is of no use whatsoever to me. the usual brush on top of eyebrow pencils surpasses this by far.
the tweezers are alright but not better than my regular ones, because they sometimes break the tiny hairs in half.
the little brush for the powders scratches the skin underneath my brows, which is an unpleasant sensation. it is already a bit twisted and i think i will need to buy a new brush soon.
scooping the brush and the comb out of their compartment isn't easy and it's annoying when in a hurry.
the powders, however, are of good quality, long lasting when applied and probably won't run out for a long while.
however,
my eyebrows are not finished and polished enough with the powders alone, and still require a bit of penciling.
thoroughly disappointing.

all in all: good but not better than my Shu Uemura H9 eyebrow pencil, or the one by YSL.
still on the hunt for the perfect eyebrow pencil/set.

LOVE THIS!! Normally I'd feel really guilty to have spent $65 (yikes!) on a product, but because I do use this brow kit everyday, I can sort of justify having bought it :) It comes with everything you need for amazing brows (three cool-toned brown powders, a brow comb, a little brush, and tweezers). The texture of these powders is really different. They are quite waxy and very dense but provide a very natural look.
I'd say that if brows are an important part of your everyday makeup routine, this is a marvelous investment. Otherwise, you might be better off saving your money :)

okay. this brow kit was an absolute splurge, and i still have no idea why i let myself spend the amount that i did (i cant remember exactly how much it was now since i bought this OVER 3 years ago) ... it has lasted FOREVER. i use it almost everyday.. or at least 3 days of the week, and i've barely made a dent in the powders. the three shades give you a lot of breathing room as to how dark/defined you want your brows to be. the powders most definitely give a more natural look to your eyebrows in comparison to a pencil. i love the kit, but this is the first eyebrow powder kit i've ever used or tried, and when this runs out (if ever it runs out), i'll probably try out other powders before i rebuy this.. just for my wallet's sake.

***EDIT: 30June2011: found a MUCH better brow kit!! Try the brow kit from GOSH, it's only 7 pounds and works a treat. Comes in three colours just like the Chanel (maybe a bit less ashy but still very good shades), a clear wax and a brush/sponge applicator which is actually usable!!!! I've been using this everyday and am very pleased with the results. I still use my Rimmel pencil to define the outer ends of my brows but the combination of the pencil and the powder gives me the most natural looking brows ever****

Hate to bring down the rating for such a much-loved product but I must say I was sorely disappointed with Chanel's Perfect Brows, having read an overwhelming number of glowing reviews. I've always been obsessed with having the perfect eyebrows and have tried numerous products in the past. Before splurging £40 on this Chanel brow kit, I did lots of research on the product to make sure it would be worth the money. I tried it in store twice (note: NOT with the applicator that comes with the compact) and was really happy with the results. Having heard that this is Kate Middleton's favourite eyebrow product (her brows look perfect), and considering my own wedding is in a few months and I want to have the best makeup possible, I finally took the plunge! The packaging is simply beautiful, and comes with a velvet pouch. The three different shades of powder are sufficiently ashy for my taste, as I hate the mahogany/ coppery tone of most eyebrow pencils/powders for dark hair. However, I have serious issue with the applicator: it is so hard that it scrapes off the surface of the powder and wouldn't actually colour my brows!!! :((( I subsequently tried using my £1 brow brush with it and achieved more decent results. Although this is no fault of the powder itself, for such an expensive product I expected an all-in-one brow solution! Another gripe I have with this is that the powder seems to only work on areas with some hair on it. One of my eyebrows is too short and requires some pencilling in to 'complete' the brow. Again, Perfect Brows on its own cannot help me create the perfect brows that I want. So basically I still need to carry my own brow brush and pencil (I use Rimmel professional eyebrow pencil or MAC... both are pretty good), in addition to the rather bulky Chanel compact. I still gave it 3 lippies as the colours are ashy enough for most people and the product seems to work for lots of people. Will not purchase again.

Hi...This brow kit is the best ever. I've shopped Sephora, all the great brands in department stores, and drugstores. Chanel was the winner for my brows--lt. brown w/greys and a little blonde too--so many colors that I practically gave up on finding a product that would fill-in brows, cover the greys, define the browline, and look natural. I couldn't tell you how much time I spent driving around town checking out brow makeup until I found this palette. The practical side: The powder is hard. I used a firm brush (Glo Minerals@ Whole Foods) to scrape color. You can mix colors easily or use just one depending on your needs. Also used the darkest color to line my eyes for a quick smokey Chanel look. Palette comes with two brushes and tweezers--I prefer to use my own tools--these will work in a pinch.

This product is very important and I could possibly not live without this productXD The three colors are perfect to create a natural looking perfect brow, a look that I struggled to achieve before I bought this product. The packaging looks very "chanel" and very convenient for it is very similar to the urban decay brow box without the wax and is much more expensive in the market.

I really like this brow set. I obsessed about buying this for 3 days before I went back to Macy's and bought it. I purchased it in 20 Brun. It has three colors: taupe, brown, and soft black. I still have black eyebrows and I don't really like the look when I use a brow pencil. SAs are always recommending brown for me but it doesn't look right when I apply it. This set comes with a pair of tweezers that work. It also includes a small brush and applicator. I mix the brown and black together. It gives a very finished look. I would recommend this product for brunettes with very dark brows. The mirror is slightly magnified so you get a good application of product. I don't know if I would repurchase because it seems to be lasting so long. The SA at Macy's said it should last for 3 years or more because it takes so little product to get the effect I wanted. So I don't know that I would run out of this before they put something else in their line to replace it.
