ladies...if you use it, and love it...check ebay. that's where i was able to purchase mine.

this was my HG foundation. i used the *soft ivory* shade and it was PERFECTION! i orginally discovered this product when i was trying to get pregnant and was nervous my revlon colorstay foundation might cause cancer or some sort of birth defects (due to the strong chemical smell).
i have since used estee lauder lucidity liquid makeup in *pale ivory*, which was half decent and definately better than nothing, but definately not my thing!
now i am using quo wet/dry powder foundation in *soft linen*, and it seems to be a very similar (if not IDENTICAL) color-match to the quickstick in soft ivory, but doesnt make my skin look as good as the quickstick did and vanishes rather quickly! if anyone has any replacement recs of the same shade, pls let me know!
i still have a teeny bit left over that i am saving for a 'special occasion' (eg/ meeting tom cruise or something). im thinking to email loreal and tell them i bring this product back!

I am so sad I can't find this product anymore. It is the only one that has maximum coverage without breaking me out. Why oh why do I find the perfect foundation only to find out it's not around anymore?

Let this be known I only use this as an eyebrow and eyeshadow primer!
But it works great, blends nicely, creamy and smooth. My shadow and brows stay on all day and than some.
The sand beige matches my skin tone quite well and for the price I got it for (at a factory sale) I can't complain.

I think this is discontinued. PEOPLE AT L'OREAL, READ THIS PAGE AND BRING IT BACK! I literally bought this for like $2 at Duane Reade (NYC drugstore chain similar to CVS) when they were clearing their shelves of (soon to be discontinued???) products. I figured for $2 what the heck. It is now my favorite foundation product out of everything I own, which includes several high-end products from Estee Lauder, Makeup Forever, Bobbi Brown, you name it.
I use this in a very light shade and it matches my fair skin and disappears. It is the easiest product to apply EVER. I am usually covering just some basic redness and minor discoloration (my skin is dry so I break out rarely) -- spot application. A few swipes on cheeks, chin, nose; use my fingers to blend it in seconds (SO quick to blend -- it's amazing) and my skin looks flawless. Leaves a smooth, natural finish that is a great base for makeup. Before I leave the house, I drop it in my bag for touchups throughout the day... it's so easy to transport in addition to everything else about it that's great.
Seriously, this is one of my all-time favorite products of any type, EVER. And I got it for two bucks! L'Oreal, PLEASE don't discontinue! This stuff is amazing!

I like this makeup. It's better suited for my skin which gets pretty oily. I tried True Match liquid foundation and it didn't work for me, it made me so oily, so I switched to this. It's a foundation, concealer & powder all in one makeup, although I find it to be more on the powder side than cream side when I apply it. It seems to stay on pretty well throughout the day for me & doesn't change color. My only complaint is that I wished they had more colors to choose from, I have Natural Beige, which is close. And it could be a little cheaper, I paid $12 and some change for mine. But it's a good product & I will keep buying it, I like that I can take it w/ me anywhere I go in case I need to touch up.
Update 4/24/09:
Unfortunately, this started to break me out so I had to stop using it. Nude Beige was a little on the light side and Natural Beige was a little dark so I couldn't get a good match. Oh well, on to something else. Hope it works for everyone else that uses it.

OK, so this just does not work for me, but I am still giving it 4 stars because there are things about it that I like a lot and I think the reason it doesn't work for me is my skin type, not product failure.
PROS:
(1) The color nude beige is perfect for me and covers all the redness on my fair-to-light peachy skin.
(2) Does not irritate my skin in terms of causing a rash or acne.
(3) Excellent portability, pocket size, could be used as concealer/foundation/powder all in one.
(4) Easy to apply and NO MESS. I get really annoyed with liquid and loose powder foundations because of the mess.
(5) I like the physical sunscreen, although everyone should know it's not adequate for protection in summer.
(6) It stays on all day on my skin.
CONS:
(1) Although my face looked perfect standing a distance from the mirror, up close it literally looked cracked. My skin is on the drier side, and I have tried using this over heavy-duty moisturizer, but it still emphasizes every little flake and fine line on my face.
(2) It's a little weird to me to use Teflon on my face (PTFE is Teflon).
(3) Seems to contribute to more dryness if used regularly (after only about a week).
This gives a really matte, powdery look, which would probably be beautiful on oilier skin. Excellent for an event. I would think this would last a long time, since it takes so little to cover the entire face. Unfortunately, I can't make it work for my skin. If anyone has ideas on how to avoid the cracked look this can give dryer skin, PLEASE let me know, because I love the coverage this gives and the portability! Would eliminate a lot of products from a travel bag!

I think this might be discontinued which is very unfortunate, I'm going to have to hunt it down on ebay. So this is just another amazing product I randomly found while surfing on MUA. Typically I wear concealer and powder foundation only but something about the reviews for this made me think it might be something I should try. I have combo skin with a shiny T-zone and some redness on my nose and chin. This works amazingly well. I can actually skip concealer and just use this with a tiny bit of power (or not!) and I'm good to go. It makes my skin look great! Love it!! Also I'm a PPP and use the second lightest shade, I bought both and the lightest is way too light for me.

I wear this in L'oreals lightest shade. This is great for large pores, hides them nicely. This foundation has no scent. Lasts nicely throughout the day. Great for oily/combo skin. Blends easily. I prep my face with a little Jojoba oil. I then swipe the foundation stick across my face a couple of times and blend with my Essence of Beauty, foundation brush (yellow bristles). Gives a natural matte finish. I too was worried that the lightest shade looked pink but not so at all. I need to update my other reviews but I think this is HG for me!

I don't know why I haven't tried this. Due to a good coupon I got $3 off and paid around $9 i have it in nude beige. I am fairly pale, but I was afraid the next lighter shade would be too light. This works if I blend well. I love it. It covers my dark circles and is not too dry or greasy. I have not broken out, (i have combo skin) and it is not too greasy at midday. My skin looks even and healthy, plus it has sunscreen. This is a gem.

Love this stuff. I've been buying it for years. Goes on quickly, blends right into my skin, looks natural yet covers all my imperfections. I have very oily, acne-prone skin but this doesn't clog pores. I also have dry spots on my chin and upper lip but it doesn't flake. It's perfection, I hope it is never discontinued!

I had used this about 7 years ago and loved it. I moved on simply b/c I am a product junkie. Anyway, I saw then on clearence at Walgreens and stocked up. Waste of money. I guess my skin has changed b/c while the coverage is excellent and so is the shade, it settles into my pores and picks up all the dry spots. I've tried using it w/moisturizer but it's no better. Too bad b/c I was really wanting to love it again.

This stuff is PERFECTION for combo skin. Where you're dry, it doesn't look flaky, and where you're oilier it is slightly mattifying. No need for concealer. Overall, a slightly satiny matte finish that looks like real, but almost perfect, skin. Doesn't settle into lines. Breathable, UVA/UVB SPF 14 and doesn't cause breakouts or other skin weirdness. What more could you ask for? I hope this stays on the market--it's great!

I can't believe I never tried this? I too saw the Walgreens clearance tags and decided to give it a go. I'm a PPP, for reference BB Porcelain, LM Porcelain Ivory. I'm yellow-white, especially on my neck, so if a foundation has pink there will be a huge color difference between my face and neck so EVERYTHING gets matched to my neck. Most light shades in DS makeup are pinky, which drives me crazy.
First I tried Pale, it looked promising in the tube but once on the skin it was so dark and yellow I looked like I had hepatitis! Then I tried Soft Ivory. I remember opening up the package in the drugstore (never touching it) tons of times and thinking the color looked chalky white with pink, and putting it back.
I think these go on much different than they look in the tube. Soft Ivory is PERFECT. Each morning I apply my Anthelios Fluid Extreme spf 55+, let it sink in a minute then stroke this stick across my forehead, cheeks, nose and chin. Blends in quickly, looks great all day, withstands the immense oil production that occurs on my skin no matter what I wear.
I went to several Walgreens and stocked up, but to my surprise they weren't just on 50% clearance from $14.99 to $7.19, all L'Oreal was at BOGOHO, so the second one was only $3.60! Woo-Hoo!

Love this foundation for so many reasons- portability, great shade selection, good coverage, creamy formula, no smell, long wearing, and price. The only thing I don't like is that it's somewhat difficult to remove. You will be using makeup remover with this one, as it's pretty sticky by the end of the day. Other than that, it's almost perfect. If I dont find something better, which at this point seems unlikely, it will be my HG.

Get em while you can, ladies. These were marked half price at Walgreens with big "last chance" stickers just last week. I didn't even know the Quicksticks were back in production, and already stores are dumping their stock. :-P This is probably one of my favorites since it goes on and blends quickly, stays put on oily skin, is very lightweight, breathable, travels extremely well, and you can build up coverage where you need it. Not to mention that the soft ivory is such a great match for me. Just rub some on directly from the stick and blend with your fingers. It's probably not sanitary, though! It does smell faintly like a crayon when you first put it on, but that fades very quickly. One thing I noticed about these sticks when I used them before is that they seem to last only half as long as a regular one ounce bottle of liquid foundation-- for the same price. You're paying for convenience with this. If you're short on time, or if you want coverage without fuss, this is a good one to try if you can find it. I would buy it again, but since this appears to be L'Oreal's second time trying to market this p[articular foundation, I have to wonder if we'll ever see it again.

Fantastic.
Does wonders for my disastrous skin.
I have morbidly deep undereye circles that look like scaly craters, freckles and moles galore, oversized pores, and oversensitive combination skin that sunburns upon the lightest touch from the sun.
And yet...
I smear a bit of this on my face and I have a bright, perfect complexion. No need for concealer, finishing powder, anything.
It fades into your skin tone really well-- it has a very natural finish.
And the whole process takes all of 30 seconds, so it's perfect for a lazy girl like me.
The only two downsides I can think of are the limited selection of tones and the greasy, unpleasant texture when you first apply it.

I wore this foundation for about 4 years off and on. This made my skin look flawless. I have oily skin and this foundation was never an issue. The only problem is that there is a limited color range, the one that I used had too much pink in it. I would only purchase this foundation for the rest of my life, if only they expanded their color range. Instead, I think they are phasing this product out and focusing more on mineral foundation.

I love this foundation. It is so easy to apply and it goes on evenly.Great for travel, too It is becoming harder and harder to find. Have not seen it in any stores in months. The only place I've found it is on drugstore.com (and they also were out of it for a while). I am going to stock up because, unfortunately, it does not last nearly as long a bottle of liquid foundation.
Love that it has SPF.
