I've tried this several times via my older sister who purchased it and kept it in the refrigerator. It was just okay for me. Granted, I only used it on my hands & I don't have dry skin there. It was pleasant enough, but I'm not a big hand cream user anyway.

I'll start by saying that I probably have the driest nails, cuticles, and hands in the US. If I am not diligent about hand cream, I will end up with peeking fingertips and cuticles. It's almost embarrassing. My top hand cream ever is pure Shea butter which I order from a wholesaler. But, this Neutrogena cream comes in second. The cream is fairly thick and spreads easy. The absorbency rate is rather astounding as it feels like my hands actually drink this cream up! I like the packaging and availability of this cream, as well as the price. I must have picked up a fragrance free version, as there's little to no scent. This beats L'occitane by a HUGE landslide. I can't believe I shelled out so much money for their hand creams which were just scented lotions in a tube that did nothing in the way of moisturizing.

This is the real deal. I have Eczema and have severely dry hands, feet, lips and face. I thought I was aging prematurely on my face. My hands were in pain. The other day I bought this out of desperation. Well, immediately I was brought relief. The next day my hands looked almost normal. So I thought what the heck I might as well try it on everything else. No joke, this stuff is legit. My face looks wayyyy better. My lips aren't screaming at me. My feet aren't rough. What's even better is this stuff is easy to find and very cheap.

This is a great, affordable hand cream that gets the job done. It's somewhat of an ointment consistency but not greasy. Absorbs well. It has been great at keeping my hands hydrated this winter. The only two things I don't care for are the scent and packaging (minor detail). The perfumey scent doesn't linger for long and a frag-free version is offered. I don't love the screw off cap, would prefer flip top. For the price and quality it is absolutely worth it. Would recommend and repurchase.

This is very much like Avon's Moisture Therapy hand cream. It looks a bit more like Vaseline, but works much better. This is very emollient and moisturizing. What I really like about this is how it doesn't leave my hands greasy, but there is a soft and moisturized feeling left on my skin that lasts through hand washing. I use the unscented version.
This is quite affordable and easy to find at drugstores or big box stores. I'm a bit of a hand cream snob but I love this cream!

Just as the claim portrays, Neutrogena Norwegian hand cream instantly softens dry hands- giving them a blanket of hydration and healthy look. The perspiration-free suppleness this cream provides is the best trait, in my opinion, as I was fed up of sweaty hands every time I applied a hand cream. My skin has gotten drier as I get older and I just recently rediscovered this cream (unscented). I use a small dab on my face as my night cream over Neutrogena Deep Wrinkle Serum, and my skin has never looked better. It's clear, soft and well moisturized. It may be my imagination, but I think my skin tone has improved too. I've tried a number of more expensive night creams, and this little tube of "hand cream" beats them all! It is now my go-to night cream.

There are many more effective products about. This one does not absorb very quickly and leaves a slight layer of grease on my hands. I expected the layer of grease to do wonders for my cuticles- WRONG!
In my frustration I even tried using it on my heels- to minimal benefit.
I suspect this functions more as a crude-ish barrier cream to prevent moisture leaving your hands. It does not seem to add moisture to the skin.
The tube system is functional with good control. The product is lightly scented and non irritating.
Not worth the effort.

This is a longtime fave for work. I never tried the fragrance-free version, I particularly like the scented one (a bit medicinal, reminds me of bandaids & antibiotic ointment, lol, which disappears after application). Because I've been using this cream for over half of my lifetime, the scent has become nostalgic to me. I notice it's harder to find the regular version in stores these days compared to the fragrance-free type.

This cream is always a lifesaver for me at work - I've always had full-time desk jobs, shuffling paper constantly. If my hands feel dry, they're uncomfortable & it's difficult to handle paper properly. If I put on any other lotion or cream, my hands are too greasy & slippery to write. With a busy job I don't have time to wait for it to sink in, only to end up feeling dry again after it does. Other brands are great for home, but at work they always failed.

This cream works best after washing hands. It keeps the moisture in the skin & my hands feel comfortable & normal all day, even if I wash again later. For me it fails to moisturize adequately if applied straight to dry skin without some dampness. Glycerin works best in the presence of moisture, so applying it to dry skin during dry, parched winter won't work at all - I wasted time trying other products until I figured it out & came back to this. The tiniest smidge is all that's needed (not even pea size, more like a small sunflower seed), more would just be excess. This amount absorbs into hands instantly & I can return to work immediately with a lasting grip for paperwork.

Love the continued low price over the years. This staple is a real gem & I hope Neutrogena never scraps it. The only thing it's missing is a flip-open cap (& eliminate the parabens).

I bought the one with the fragrance. It has a nice clean, fresh scent. Not at all bothersome. It's really refreshing actually. I have really dry chapped skin on my thumbs... it's a combo of eczema and a bad habit of picking at it. I don't use this cream for all over my hands, just more targeted areas and it works great for it! I love the texture of the cream. It does take a while to work into the skin, but i don't mind it at all. My only complaint is that I wish it came with a flip cap rather than a screw on cap. I always find myself fumbling around with it when putting the cap back on lol. All and all, great product and would definitely repurchase!
