I like the faint mint scent but wish the product moisturized my lips better. This lipbalm works best under lipstick but I find I need something heavier for nighttime. I don't think this balm deserves the "best of" status it achieved. In my mind it's more of a middle of the road product. I would likely not repurchase unless it was on sale and I needed lipbalm urgently.

**Updated to add** Over time I felt this actually dried my lips and caused them to feel tight and get flaky. Maybe I'm sensitive to the mint, but I don't have the same problem with other minty lip products.

Love this lip balm! Rated Best on Paula Begoun's reviews. Made with beeswax, jojoba oil, sesame seed oil, sunflower seed oil, olive oil, shea butter, and flavor. I love the mint scent, too! The packaging is also recyclable. Only negative is it does not contain sunscreen, but I love using this at night. I use Banana Boat Sport Performance Lip Balm SPF 50 during the day. I no longer have chapped lips even during the winter. :)

Got it on clearance at Target for $2.08.

I got this as a freebie so I really can't comment on the price. It's not a bad product. It moisturizes well and doesn't leave a waxy film on my lips. I can't get over the smell. it's kind of like apple and mint. The face wash has a pleasant apple smell that I enjoy. That mixed with mint is kind of gross. I'll continue to use it until I either lose it (always lose chapsticks) or use it up. Won't repurchase though...

To me this is the best lip balm i have ever used. It keeps my lips from cracking and it heavily moisturizes them. If i put it on at night i wake up and my lips are still perfectly good. The only issue i have with it is that it becomes gooey so easily with any heat, but if you manage to keep it out of the heat it is the best.

I didn't really like this. I expected it to taste like the green apple scent of the Neutrogena Naturals cleanser and exfoliant, but it just tasted like mint (although it wasn't a bad taste, so I can't complain, and in fact it was one of the more pleasant-tasting mint lip balms I've tried). It went on really nicely and smoothly, and it felt very comfortable, but I didn't notice any improvement in the hydration of my lips. I feel like a good lip balm should moisturize well enough that I don't need to constantly be wearing it. But even though my lips felt moisturized while I had this lip balm on, they would start to feel dry almost immediately after I took it off. I'm looking for more of a long-term solution for dry lips.

This feels creamy and substantial on my lips, neither slick nor waxy but perfectly in between. The finish is more of a satin. I use this product in the morning under my lipstick or gloss and liner. It's PERFECT for sheering and evening out light applications of your more matte lipsticks. And I'm addicted to the light mint scent. It's moisturizing enough for me, but I have to add that I don't really have a problem with dry lips. However, I use Aquaphor on my lips every night because I don't believe this product is moisturizing enough for nighttime lip restoration.

So this is another failed lip balm/chapstick for me. The only thing that seems to work on my lips is Carmex. So I decided to try this because it was $3 at Ulta and Im trying to find a new lip balm because Carmex taste awful (but works). Like every other chapstick I've tried it doesnt soak into my lips and leaves this waxy film that peels off of my lips. I usually like Neutrogena but not this product. Will not be re-purchasing....

This was a pretty good lip balm. I also got it in the Target sample bag, and it's almost gone now. The only complaint I have with this is that it didn't seem to be moisturizing enough to deal with the dry winter weather here and my lips still got peely even after constantly reapplying it.

This chapstick is great! Leaves a soft moisturizing feeling not greasy or sticky. With a few more swipes you get shine, which I love. No mineral oil, no lanolin, and no petroleum. Perfect!

This is the best lip balm I've ever used! So many chapsticks feel like you're applying a stick of wax to your lips *cough Chapstick cough,* make your lips even drier after a few days of use (like EOS), or are oily and don't last on your lips *stares at Vaseline Lip Therapy.* This has a nice smooth texture that somehow isn't very oily or waxy, it's soft and melts into your lips. It has a light natural peppermint flavor. But what I really appreciate the most is after repeated use my lips are so much healthier and softer and any peeling or cracking disappears! If I use it everyday my lips never get dried out to begin with. I love wearing it to bed; I wake up with super soft lips!

This gets me through week long trade events in Las Vegas and every Northeast winter. There's no greasy feeling once it is on. In fact, I forget that I'm wearing it, so I have to remind myself to reapply.

Now, if Neutrogena would just go back to their original formula for their hand cream and remove the awful smell that they added last year, my hands would be as soft as my lips.

This is a great lip balm! First of all... Take a look at that ingrediants list! I just think it's great. It's got a light sweet peppermint scent that I really like. It moisturizes my lips very well, which I need because I'm constantly biting my lips, so they're always dry or the skin is breaking from it. (Damn my anxiety!) This also looks pretty on the lips, a slight glossy look when I apply a few layers. If a man were to use it I would just reccomend to use only one or two layers, which is fine for most people who don't destroy their lips lol. This will eliminate the glossy-ness. Great product! And it was only $2 at the grocery store! Lovin on the price!!

I got this for free as part of a Target goodie bag promotion. I'm something of a lipbalm fanatic so I was excited to try this out. I find that this is a great lipbalm to use underneath drying lipsticks, especially matte lipstick formulas. The reason is that this balm is of a firmer, waxier texture so that it deposits a minimal amount of product onto the lips and it doesn't leave them slippery. It just acts as a nice thin barrier against a drying lip color without making the lip color fade or feather. It's waxiness doesn't mean it's not moisturizing, however - I can add a couple more swipes of this before bedtime and it'll keep my lips nicely moisturized with a subtle minty taste/smell. My only complaint about this is that it doesn't contain SPF, but the ways in which I use it don't really require sun protection anyway so it works out.

EDIT: Dropped my rating because after almost being finished with my tube, I have decided that I would not repurchase this because it's not moisturizing enough.

This is an okay lip balm. I like it well enough to use the tube I have, but I won't repurchase. I find it a bit more waxy than I prefer, and I really have to layer it on for it to be moisturizing enough, even though I don't have exceptionally dry lips. I'm also not a huge fan of peppermint flavored lip products. Overall, I much prefer Badger Cocoa Butter Lip Balms.
Ingredients: Beeswax, Jojoba Seed Oil, Sesame Seed Oil, Sunflower Seed Oil, Olive Fruit Oil, Shea Butter, Natural Flavor, Cocoa Seed Butter, Tocopherol.

Like many of us reviewing this, I received this lipbalm in the Target sample bag a while back. I think I would have just passed by this had it not been for that. That being said, I really like it. It is not too waxy, goes on smoothly and soaks in without leaving a sticky feeling. Lasting power is about three hours for me during the day. The smell is a very light mint with some vanilla in the background, not strong at all like some minty lipbalms tend to be. Lipstick and lipliner go over it without a problem. Don't know if the moisturizing power will be enough for the colder months, but for the summer, this is absolutely lovely.

This is was just okay for me. Nothing really stands out about it-- it is a pretty light balm and for me was very similar to original Chapstick. I prefer Nivea by leaps and bounds, but in a pinch, I will use this.

I love, love, love this lipbalm. It took me a long time to figure I'm allergic to all lipsticks and most lipbalms. Blistex, chapstick, you name it, it caused a hard shell to form on my lips and then peel - awful. I was only able to treat the peeling with topical steroids - serious stuff. This lip balm is amazing - moisturizing, doesn't sting and long lasting. Very delicate scent, which is important to someone who gets sinus headaches from scented products (like Burt's Bees).

I got a sample of this in a gift bag and then I bought some more because I had some great coupons. This balm is really pretty average. I was expecting a little more being it is Neutrogena and it is a natural product. It has a great smell - not too minty. I find it really refreshing. The texture is a little waxy, but not too much. It smooths on pretty good too. The trouble with this is it wears out so quickly. I find myself having to reapply it within an hour so the lasting power is just not there. So it is a pretty ok product if you do not mind reapplying numerous times. I think it is pretty good for the spring and summer when you want something lighter. In the cooler months and drier skin I do not think this would be enough moisture.

This is a great natural, SPF free, unscented lip balm. I bought mine for a little less than $3 at Nordstrom Rack. It's moisturizing and doesn't break away or feel gritty like some natural lip balms. This and Burt's Bee's Original lip balm are my favorite lip balms.

I actually really love this. A lot of the lip moisturizing products I've tried over the years have been waxy coatings that do nothing to actually soften my lips, but this stuff is really effective. It's cheap, too, which is nice. My only gripe is that it has no sun protection.
