I really like this product. Not only did it reduce the size and redness of my pimple within a few hours, pretty much by the next day its almost gone. Unless its a very bad pimple then that might take about 3 days. But what i noticed is that there is no scarring from the pimple if i use this. The only downside is that it makes your pillow or sheets smell like sulfur but its not too bad. Also you cant leave the house with this because you look like a freak with blotches all over.

Works well against whiteheads, not under the skin nodules. I only used this when I was breaking out badly from my cleansing oil; however, I no longer have a need for it since I don't regularly break out. After prolonged use my skin does get irritated because of the alcohol. The clean n clear acne spot treatment works just as well and at the fraction of price. Smells like sulphur.

This is a great spot treatment. My skin responds really well to sulfur, and this one works like a charm. It doesn't make my spots disappear overnight, but it really does make them go away faster than if I were to to use nothing, or a different product. I also like that when I apply it into the day, I can blend it in with my skin. I have very fair skin, so this blends perfectly and actually acts as a concealer on my skin. It's great. It smells very alcoholy, which I hate, but I deal with it. The smell goes away right away and doesn't linger. This is a great spot treatment and definitely worth the money.

I've tried a lot of acne treatments and so far I really like this one. It does shrink the ance, though I might not say overnight. I think it also helps heal open ones faster, at least it feels like it does. Be warned that if you put it on a 'popped' pimple or other cut it will sting and they might even advise against it, but it doesn't bother me and I feel it helps (actually, I think it works better when they're open...).

As far as how to use it, it says don't shake it, and at first I was confused. So I swirled it lightly, lol. That's not what I was supposed to do. You are supposed to dip the cotton swab IN through the clear liquid into the thicker sediment on bottom and tap off excess. Then you put that on. I think the reason there is liquid is so it doesn't dry out and turn into a powder, but if you mix it, the sediment is diluted and less strong and therefore less effective. It should go on pretty thick, not watery. And it crumbles a little as it dries.

This is not a prevention product and yes it smells strongly of sulfur (use an old pillowcase!!), but it's great for overnight wear and I also really like to put a small dab on before makeup so the acne I have doesn't re-infect from being covered with straight makeup. :) It's not that expensive when you take into consideration that it's Kate Sommerville and an acne product, and you really only need a little so it lasts. Hope that helps!

Also, to cut my q-tip consumption, I use a very small taklon brush that I wash and reuse. You can get one at a craft store, and use it for other products if you like because it is washable as any other brush would be. :)

Although I am addicted to reading reviews on products, I have rarely taken the time to review them myself. So that's saying a lot already about this product. Kate Somerville has definitely outdone herself with this product. I have been trying to find something to help with my outburst of acne, and have tried almost everything. I started using this product last night and already my "cyst" have almost disappeared. Before I used this it would take a week or two to get rid of one, and by that time there would be more! I am so happy with this product that I actually feel confident in my skin again! I am looking forward to adding this to my skin care routine while continuing on my journey to clear skin!

(by the way; my break outs are localized to my forehead and chin- mostly hormonal.)

So now I can definitely say that this works - with the caveat that it works more slowly than you'd expect.

I used it every night for almost 3 weeks and my face is mow almost clear. (For reference, both my checks were covered in large raised bumps before.) Now I have no big raised bumps, a few hard small ones, and some redness where I had bumps. Given the time lag, I don't necessarily think that this made my acne go away. But it dried up the breakout and took the inflammation down enough that the bumps were less red/inflamed/painful. For me, personally, this is important because I'm less likely to pick at them and irritate them further if they don't hurt which in turn means that my face heals faster and I don't get scabs. (I also haven't gotten much in the way of new acne but I don't know how much of this is attributable.)

What I don't like about this is the price, the amount of wasted product, and the dry flakies you get where the bumps are. I'll definitely keep using it and I *might* repurchase - but I'm not sure yet either way.

I love this as a spot treatment! It helps dry out and control those very big bad red bumps! XD. I use it at night after applying my Clinique Moisturizing Gel, but I don't use it for more than 2 nights because it can dry out the spot where I apply it. What I usually do is when I have a nasty pimple I use the Eradikate for 2 nights straight but I skip the 3rd night so that it's not over drying it. Try it out. If you don't like it you always return it to Sephora and they'll give your money back. Good Luck!

This product is amazing for spot treatments of stubborn acne. This will not help clear up acne all over but for the spots that are angry, red and wont go away this product is a miracle. I absolutely love it and have recommended it to friends.

Best acne treatment I have ever tried. It minimizes the size of pimples overnight and within a couple of days it's gone! It does dry out your skin a bit so don't forget to moisturize in the morning.

One of the cons of this product is that it dries out fairly quickly so you want to be sure that the cap is screwed on very tightly after each use. Even with that, it still dries out within a couple of months, but I had some very bad acne so I used most of it before it dried out.

It's not very harsh either, which is surprising for how well it works. When I first recieved it I used it every night for a couple of weeks until all my acne cleared up and then I only used it when I felt a pimple coming. It's been about 2 months now and it's almost used up, but I'm definitely going to buy more!

This appeared to dry out the pimple on the top layer, but you would still be left with a bump. It was effective alone right before the pimple was ready to come out on its own. I purchased this as part of the blemish banisher kit at sephora, and ended up returning it. Basically, it did not minimize the pimple and it was annoying to have a pink paste on your face even if it is only at night.

Love this. I use it after my moisturizer at night on my problem spots. It also helps me to not pick at my skin because this conceals the acne at night so I do not look at it... Seems to dry out the problem areas nicely. Although this is very smelly stuff, makes your pillowcases smell, but I have become acclimated to it, so that's fine I guess. Another good thing about this is that it actually adheres to the skin and stays there, unlike some spot treatments I've used that flake off of the skin within a few hours. A+

i know there are no miracle cures for acne, but for something this expensive i'd hoped it'd work better than drugstore products. it's a pink sediment in a lot of alcohol, so i can't apply it too close to my eyes/nose or else the alcohol burns. maybe it keeps zits from getting bigger, but it definitely does not magically shrink them. i'm staying with origins out of trouble mask.

Miracle product! Literally dries up whiteheads overnight, and stops them from emerging if you treat the spot as soon as you feel it coming.

I wasn't expecting this product to work, but it does. I can't say it works on all acne, like deep cysts, but it does work on that stuff that lingers that is close to the surface. It isn't a miracle product that you apply once, and everything miraculously goes away. But, if you have those lingering pimples/zits that stick around for weeks that are closer to the surface but aren't coming to a head, then this product will dry them out with nightly use over about 3 days or so. It does stink and tingle a bit when you put it on, but it is so worth it. This is a spot treatment and not a product to apply on your whole face. I had 2 cysts close to each other, and it got rid of one, and the other is a little smaller. If you shake this up by accident, then just let the contents settle. Dip your q-tip in and then pull it out and dab it on the spots. My spots are all on my chin/jawline area. This is worth a try. And, I spend a lot on skincare, so I don't think it is pricey for something that actually works!

I've tried this and the Mario version, but I prefer Eradikate. Mario's is a bit less expensive, and is almost the same, but I feel like Eradikate just works a bit better for me whenever I get a 'big' pimple or a breakout. A good friend of mine who is very skin and cosmetics savvy reccomended this to me, and she swears by it. It's also packaged well, and lasts a long time, so the price makes it worth the product.

Excellent! I apply this every night to at least some portion of my face. It makes me feel better to not look at the problem areas on my skin even at night, so this is nice to cover them up! haha. But as far as effectiveness, if you catch a pimple RIGHT when it's starting, and I mean within hours that you can feel it, then this is really effective. But if you use it on a large one that is already there, its so so. I mean sure it'll dry it out a bit, but It doesn't really do so any faster than anything else. But I still use it, because it definitely helps clear up new and existing acne.

One thing I do no like is that if you apply it as directed, with a q-tip simply dotting the area, it will flake off... you need to actually massage in the area a little bit so the product will adhere to the skin... other than that...Great product. It smells bad, yes... so what. At least she doesn't load her stuff with perfume.
