This scent is such a comfort. It reminds me of fleece pajamas and reading under the covers on a cold winter night (because I did that a lot when I first got the lotion two years ago). Moonlight Path is a musky floral, very powdery on the drydown, and does take some getting used to. However, given the right time and the right place (ie. under the covers on a cold winter night), it can prove to be a warm and comforting favourite. Highly recommended; it moisturizes well as long as you stay indoors. I will always come back to this, especially when it's snowing outside :)

Bath and Body Works lotions and creams are wonderful. They are light yet creamy, not greasy, easily absorbed, moisturise well AND smell awesome. (There are certain scents that I don't like but that's a personal preference). Moonlit path is a floral, powdery fragrance that I like depending on my mood. It can smell too powdery at times which is why I took one lippie off.

This is a lovely scent that smells clean, fresh, and flowery! I would describe it as a mixture of lavender and baby powder. I like to use this lotion at night before bed because it is relaxing and subtle, not over powering at all. It is not super amazing at moisturising , but it gets the job done. If you have very dry hands or are looking for a powerful moisturiser, this product probably isn't for you. I would repurchase if it was on sale or if I had a coupon because it was a bit pricey but I love the smell so much!

I'm on the fence with the lotion version of Moonlight Path. Sometimes it comes off flowery and overpowering (those are the times I like it but am not crazy about it) and other times it comes off soapy and fresh. Those times I love it! I like to wear it after I shower after a workout or being outside in the heat all day. It makes me feel really clean and fresh and is a relaxing scent. I prefer to use this at night because my sisters and boyfriend hate this scent so I usually don't wear it in public. I probably would buy it again with one of those spend $10 get a signature product free coupon (this being the free coupon). It's worth a try if you want something flowery and clean smelling. But I would recommend to get a travel size first since so many people don't like it.

Moonlight Path was the first BBW scent I ever purchased. I have loved Jovan Musk since I was a teen and it reminded me of it very much, but a bit softer, more powdery. I have repurchased the scent several times and finally bought the lotion. Like the spray, I find MP lotion to be one of the most lasting BBW scents on me. Its not the usual BBW scent meaning its not fruity nor sweet (I love such scents too) but rather a real "perfume" scent. I love the lotion scent, BBW lotions work for me because the scents last longer than their sprays. I wear this with the spray, but also under several other scents, layering this because I know its reliably good, works in any situation, and just plain smells good. This is a no brainer for me. Yes its also moisturizing but I never use BBW lotions any place but my hands. I use them to boost my scent of the day, and keep my hands from being/looking dry, on the way out the door.

I used to love this a few years ago I never bought it until now. I always sprayed it in store but I ended up buying other scents. Well I finally got it I got 3 mini's 2 sprays and one shower gel and I got the full size lotion free. I'm enjoying it so far I'm only using it at night after work I shower and put the lotion and spray on it helps me relax. I don't think this is a day scent nor a signature scent it smells like soft lavender to me and it smells like a body spray not a perfume. I wouldn't buy this in edt because its not something I would wear like that. It can be a lil strong and it has lasting power but I don't think I'd repurchase its just not a "it" scent for me. However its nice but its almost like the baby shampoo with lavender.

I received this lotion as a gift and initially the scent really did not impress me (I lean towards fruity/sweet scents, not florals or musks). But after applying it to my hands the next day I found I couldn't stop periodically sniffing my hands while at work! The scent is actually quite complex and subtle; I can see why the reviews mention the unisex nature of this lotion because the smell has elements of my BF's cologne, which I really enjoy.

I really do love this scent. It's not always my first choice but I always have some handy. It's a great de-stresser scent that's very calming and nice. I love using it at night before bed time = )

I have this in a mini bottle, as a hand lotion I sometimes toss it into my purse. It reminds me of a stronger lavender version of White Musk by The Body Shop. I honestly don't really like Moonlight Path - I find it a bit too strong and overpowers my perfume. It's a nice clean, musky and warm scent but just a little too bold. Prefer the Warm Sugar or Secret Wonderland scents. I would not repurchase this one.

Been through multiple tubes of this. It's a must-have. An absolute classic as far as I'm concerned...and my perfume tastes range from high to low priced scents. My fiance loves it on me -- and indeed, loves the scent so much he actually uses the BBW conditioner in the same scent, which cracks me up, because otherwise he's so not a metrosexual in any way!

Two of my favorite scents are lavender and musk. Because musk tends to be a skin scent and sticks close to the body, I have a hard time finding one with good enough sillage that I like. THIS has solved that problem. It's a beautifully combined scent that lingers on and on. When I wear this I get compliments from men and women alike. In the grocery store, out walking around, at work, etc. I love this stuff...

This was a gift from about three years ago. It's in the squeeze tube.
It's lasted all these years mainly because I hardly use it. Not that it's bad but I'm not one for body lotions on a regular basis.

It's texture is very creamy and goes on smooth. My skin absorbs is great and my skin is so much softer. The smell is amazing, my favorite scent of any lotion I've ever used. It's a light, lingering scent. The lavender really comes through, the smell is almost abstract in a way.
It also feels very cool and calming on my skin.

I didn't give it a full rating because it doesn't "help" my skin in anyway. It isn't a miracle cream by any means. but it is also great to help you relax.

I wouldn't buy again if I ever ran out in the near future. I may reconsider if/when the time comes but for now, it's a nice treat every so often.

It worked well and while I like it, the smell is really strong and almost overpowering. I can smell it around me even after just using a tiny bit on my hands. I'll stick to another scent next time.

I love the smell a lot, but I find this brand of lotion just doesn't moisturize well for me. The lotion seems better used as a perfume than a moisturizer.

I've been using this product for 9+ years and I still keep coming back to it. By now my mom and sister use it, too, and even some of my sorority sisters began using it because they loved how I smelled when I got out of the shower! The name really does the fragrance justice. I feel like it's a sultry scent that's not overpowering, yet it has great staying power. It's subtle but effective. More recently, I paired Moonlight Path with Juicy Couture's Viva la Juicy perfume and... wowza! The 2 fragrances mixed so well! I kept smelling myself all day because I couldn't get over how nice the 2 mixed! Even my car smelled awesome afterwards!

Moonlight path is my FAVORITE scent out of all the Bath and Body works products. It's a floral baby powder ish sweet, cute smelling... i know, very hard to describe, but i LOVE it very very much. the only thing, is that Bath and body works lotions are just okay, they are not of the bests consistency, nor texture, nor the most moisturizing, but the scent... is amazing.

I used to hate this lotion and now I adore it! To me this smells exactly like floral scented baby powder. I LOVE it!! It pairs beautifully with many different perfumes (especially KM Loukhoum).

This review is for the old formula. I absolutely loved Moonlight Path lotion before the reformulation. It was soft and gentle but heady. I loved using it at night mostly because the soft musky scent was very mellow and calm but also felt clean and fresh but not in the typical aquatic/marine scent way. I even found layering this scent with others worked out very well and still do it to this day. I have to say though that the new formulation is complete crap in terms of scent, in my opinion, and I'd give it 1 star. The scent is not the same. It smells vaguely of Moonlight Path but without the heart and soul of the original fragrance. It's an empty husk of the original. I would only repurchase this item if it was in the old formula.
